This switch set has each piece of the pre existing switches so you can have the player find the lever ands add them to the switch. Download this, and every other sprite in the complete pack found here. http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/7575-rmxprtp-addon-pack/page__fromsearch__1

Nice to meet you. That's awesome, harvest moon is by far one of my favorite series, I own every digital copy possible hehe. I look forward to seeing your game inspired by the harvest moon series, the rpg world needs more farming games. -Cheers

Question: Can I release this as part of my RTP pack? Credit: BICs Here you go
-
I am not sure why it is copying onto one line, it should definitely look like it does above once it is inside your game. As for how it knows you are swimming, it appears to use terrain tags to tell what type of ground the character is standing on. To set a certain tile to a specific terrain tag you must go to the tilesets tab in the database, and then select the terrain tag button on the right side. You should now see a bunch of numbers(most likely all zero) over each tile on that tile set. By left click you can increase the number and right clicking will decrease it. You can set the tiles to any number from 0 to 7. I believe the script is set to run off of number 4. Once your terrain tag is set to the correct number for all desired maps with water tiles the script should work perfectly. Hope that helps. -Cheers, Jon Bon

(SOLVED) How to make an NPC to run into you from off screen ?
Jon Bon replied to Dannyboi1989's question in Support
Set your NPC event up off screen in the following manner; STEP 1 Set the move route(PICTURE 1A) up so that the NPC(PICTURE 1B) will walk on screen and to the desired spot. STEP 2 Setup the conditions section(PICTURE 2A) for your event so that it is controlled by a switch(PICTURE 2B). STEP 3 Next, add a self switch to the end of the List of Event Commands(PICTURE 3A), and set it to A, On(PICTURE 3B). STEP 4 Now create a new page that has a condition set to self switch A(PICTURE 4A). Explanation: What you have just done is create an event that will walk from outside the viewable screen to on screen when the set switch is active. All you need to do to make that happen is turn that switch on. Just add a control switch X On at the end of your cut scene and it will trigger the event running up to you. If you need to make the event that runs up to you speak, etc, just add all that stuff after the move route but BEFORE the self Switch A On. After the event has done everything you want it to it will 'dissapear' by turning to page two of the event(using self switch A), which has no graphic or commands. So if you want it to look right you will most likely need to make the npc walk off screen again before the self switch. Aternately you can make the first page fade the screen to black(at end BEFORe self switch), the second page auto run a fade back to normal then add a self switch B On to page two, and create a page three triggered by self switch B, and have page three be the empty page that makes the NPC 'dissapear'. I see you added solved already, but I already made this small guide so ill post it anyway. -
Yeah its definitely not done, did you read what I wrote? hehe. I still have the rear animation to do, if you like it so far thats awesome, ill keep going and finish it up.
-
Ok so here is what I have so far. Everything is animated(in rough draft), except the rear view. I had issue trying to decided what the back end would look like, im barely satisfied with the way the rear looks at the moment. Take a look at it, try walking around with it a bit, and let me know what you think so far. Also, I will be able to make a battler for you and it should turn out rather nice, im about 50% complete that aswell. -Cheers

Here is what I have so far, seems much better when compared side by side. I noticed the female sprite after this ^ attempt, but took a look before posting. The sprite above is about 15% bigger so it has nicer shading. The lines on that chest are like 5 pixels tall and the breast itself on the arcane is a total of 5 lol. So we gotta keep it small to match with the RTP. Anyhow let me know what you think about the one on the right. Oh and your welcome for helping, I dont mind at all, it's helping me learn.
-
Agreed, I tried shading the chest a bit, but I will give it another go for you and post back when/if I get some progress. Yeah definitely harder to do the front, I will see what I can do.
-
I definitely used a female skin for the body. The chest area is round in two spots, compared to the oval shape and the stomach muscles of the male. I am not sure, but the only way I could make it more feminine would be to add nipples. I tested it and it looks fine, but not as good in my opinion. As far as done right and nice, it's going to get nicer than what it is now once I go over it again and shade it (more), but I am not really a pixel artist, so my skills are limited at best. I can get it done for you but it wont be perfect, as I only intend to spend a few weeks on it regardless. So let me know if that'll be ok, some times you have to settle. EDIT* Changed the hair too, I think it looks better.

Hello there. I wasn't too sure if I would be able to make the sprite so I took a shot before replying. Here is a very rough draft of a front view of the sprite. Is this ^ ok? If you think that (or better once touched up etc.) is good, then i'll continue. Let me know. I wont be able to do the battler though, but once im done the sprite I could always give it a try. -Cheers Jon Bon P.S. Any dead line, or date you need the sprite by? It may take me a week or so before I finish.

Lol? Beat ya to it RageMage. Not entirely sure if they are 'active' but I think so, they had five members join today alone.

The mountains you are talking about are an autotile. Here is the link I always use to aquire inquisitors resources, this links has a demo, and included in it are the auto tiles for the world map. There is also a demo for both the interior and exterior tilesets. I suggest downloading the demos of each, since it comes with the autotiles and is setup with the walking flags etc. Here is the link to RPG Palace, where you can find inquisitors tilesets. Now as for the blue around the ocean, that is a little tricky. The first time I used the tileset I actually had to use a youtube video to understand how to do it, but now it is second nature. The water tiles you are talking about (the ones needed to nicely shade the edges of the water) are right near the top of the tileset. There are a bunch of different colored land with edged water around each one, the edges around the land are the ones you will need to use to shade the ocean/lakes/rivers etc. Each water shading is the same, so no need to match it to your ground color. Hope this helped, cheers.
