It's as he says, all PS3 models can play PS1 games. The Emotion Engine was available to the original 60 Gig for hardware emulation, but was removed to reduce the costs of the Playstation, apparently Sony thinks people are buying PS3's only for PS3 games, and not as a method of preserving the life expectancy of their PS2 games as well. Anyways, they included the PS2's chipset in the 80 Gig model they released and had you download PS2 Emulation Software from PSN, however, they removed that completely in all of the later "Slim" design. All is not loss for PS2 people like myself, Sony file a patent for some type of Emulation using the Playstation's Hardware. Though, I don't know much about it, or all the technicalities. So I won't pretend too.

Why not make an official one? Everybody uses Facebook anyways. Could just be another way of displaying our affiliation with each other.

I would like to add to this debate anyways. It is to my understanding from every ROM site I have gone to, there is a disclaimer stating that downloading a ROM and possessing them for more than 24 hour period is illegal, if you do not yet own the original copy. Evil Cabbage read that article wrong, it is stating that if you create a back-up ROM onto another cartridge, it is illegal. Had he read further into it the subject, instead of just pasting it as quickly as possible to prove a point, he would have understood that Atari was suing JS&A for manufacturing a device that enabled users to more or less make copies cartridge copies of their video games. This Wikipedia article has not started if it is illegal or not to actually make back-ups for personal use. All others examples are citing different situations in which ROMs are illegal.

I was thinking the same thing. Its some good grass Kage, if I were still making RM games I would definitely use it. Hell, I might even buy a palette of it for my moms front lawn.
