I wouldn't say the youngest. We have DarkDen. I think he is 13 as well. Ah. I remember when I started RM, I was only 11.. Now I am nearly 20. I guess that makes me a loser, huh? =p If you need any help with events, be sure to ask me. I know it all. Welcome to the forums.

Enigma, I feel sorry for your consoles. =( lol. Even my PS2 still works without error and it is a fatty.

First off, I just wanted to throw this out there Crym. ;) I never met anyone else that enjoys the Suikoden like I do. I am happy to see it. I wish they would give me a 6 already though. =( To be honest, I don't know if I have 10 Favorite RPGs. According to my Complex RPG Comparison method >.> <.<, these are my ordered favorites. 1. Final Fantasy X 2. Dragon Age: Origins 3. Persona 3 4. Radiata Stories 5. Disgaea 6. Chrono Trigger 7. Suikoden II

Playstation 3. Wii doesn't have any interesting games to me except No More Heroes and Zelda. But NMH is being ported to the PS3 so no need for one now. PS3 and Xbox have the same game collection for the most part. I just prefer Playstation though. I grew up with it, and statistically speaking the PS2 was/is the most successful console out there. Playstation Move* XBox Kinect* Truly? Even all the Atari systems, Sega Master and Saturn, and the 3DO?

Some of the voice actors I am a little iffy on, but that might be mic quality more than their voices. But I am impressed with the voice acting. I also would like to give you points for originality on the concept (Or so I believe it is), I really like what you did and I hope one day this evolves out of an Enterbrain medium and on to more of a professional level. That would be awesome. It's people like you that should be getting jobs as a Lead Designer. My complaints: Such an impressive concept should have original graphic design in it. I'm sure that this is a beta and moving away from RTP has crossed your mind. Your mapping was below average as well. This is judging from the trailer.

I will read your articles STG, I am actually interested in hearing where you have been. I haven't seen you in awhile. Either that or I have not been paying attention.

I agree with Wyzrd. I understand where you are coming from Broken Messiah. However, middle aged moms all over the U.S. have done everything they can to "protect their children" by crippling content on the TV, Radio, and other mediums. The internet has no rules, and it can not be controlled in this way. It does give me a level of satisfaction to know this. -
I think the hardest part for me to make is a game is how to start it. I like certain abilities to make a good game. No graphic design finesse, music composition, storyline abilities. I want to make a character, but there are so many factors to one character. What influences him, what he likes/dislikes, motivation, feeling. Such human complexities must be integrated into a person. Anyways. I am having trouble figuring out where to even start my project. I wanted to hear what others do. Do you write it down in a journal? What about concept art? How do you plan a plot? How do you design a character. I want to read it all.

That sounds an awful lot like the Mormon religion.... -
No, I was referring to Wyzrd. That kid is a retard. Lol.

VP Always has an interesting perspective on games. When he releases a demo, I'm sure it will be worth playing, despite the lack of info. I vouch for this guy.

No problem. And yes, I would like the picture. Thank you.

Idk. Violentpurge returned only recently.
-
Not bad. And yeah, that is better. But some parts of it seem awkward and run on. But that might be just my warped perception of the English language kicking in.

I am glad that the game production is going good enough. I look forward to reading that summary. As far as learning how to map better goes, all I can suggest is either read some mapping Tuts, like Kirashi's (He did do some, yes?) or just do what I did, and play other people's games, and observe how they did their mapping, especially if they did not encrypt their game.

It's been a long while, so I forgot what caused that error. I think it is a difference between versions (Judging from when Leon posted this). Any line in the program that says: self.contents.font.size = $defaultfontsize or self.contents.font.name = $defaultfonttype Put a number sign (#) in front of it, it should turn the line green.

Well, that's why you can't actually have that many switches. They have a capacity. And they don't really "run", they aren't an active process, so they won't slow your game down. They will just insignificantly increase your game size, that is it.

This looks rather impressive, I wish you had a better grasp of English though. It is side. You should try to work with a native english speaker for a better English translation. As for your contest, if you are still doing it. For left to right, I believe it is: Human, Bear, Condor.

Okay. I will accept those answers. I thought there were other minor details bothering me, but my brain does not seem to care to remember them. Oh well, they were minor. I hope the project is coming along well, I was hoping to come read your topic for a little inspiration. I'm not sure if I have or not, I am a little frustrated; I lost an entire journal of notes during a move it seems. =(

Well first off Crimson, let me tell you this is the first project I actually bothered to sit down and read the initial post in a long time. Usually when I read a project thread I suffer a terrible attention span and tend to tl;dr shit. But, I like you - as a user. So I thought I would give it a shot. Forgive me if I repeat anything Enigma or RGangster read. They were skimmed... Okay, that is a lie, I did not bother to read their reply posts. Okay, your rough sketch of the story confused me at first, but I think I got it. But will interpret in my own words: "The Lower Lands, Almar once lived at peace with the Air Kingdom (Where powerful Sky Beasts live). That is until the age(?) of the Black Moon came.." Okay, you are calling it an Age, which I interpret some type of technological advancement allowed the Sky Kingdom to control these beasts and gain a significant military edge over Almar. "The prophecy tells of a person only known as the 'Muse', who will ascend to the Sky Kingdom. If this happens, the Black Moon will rain fire and death upon the Lower Lands." Now the Black Moon is an actually thing, no longer an age. I understand for historical sake why you would call it the Age of the Black Moon, but I think you should have presented it just as the Black Moon. "The Almarians believe that if they sacrifice (Shouldn't this be killed..?) the Muse, the Sky Kingdom will see this Prophecy as false and stop it's siege of the Lower Lands. So, Almar sends a young man to find the 'Muse' and stop this Prophecy. To be honest Crimson, the story is a little nonsensical. I pose these questions: -Where did the Black Moon come from? -They Sky Kingdom already appears to be winning the war. -The Sky Kingdom controls a hoard of beasts. Who cares if the prophecy is satisfied or not? -If the prophecy were interrupted, why should the Sky Kingdom stop their rampage? -Why should the Muse be sacrificed? Is their a difference between sacrificed and murdered? -Why did the Sky Kingdom attack in the first place? I mean, there shouldn't be an issue of land or anything. Oh, and the plot reminds me of Avatar the Air Bender.. Heavily. And you need to spice up your maps more and rework the world map. People tend to be sensitive about these subjects, so I want to remind you that this is friend criticism and strictly my opinion. If I did not already respect you, I would have never bothered reply to this subject.
