If you know what you're doing, Windows is really good. I give major props to Linux cause its Open Source and it's a total OS, but Windows has a multi-billion dollar company backing it up, which has pretty much created the foundation for PC's. With the release of Windows 7, Microsoft may have actually just undone the crap Vista did. 7 could be the first good stable operating system since XP, or even 98 (which didn't have many bugs but it was a pain). All I'm saying is this OS war will never end until there is only one dominant OS. From what I can see right now, Microsoft is not disappearing any time soon. Opinions will spark into flame wars that can be avoided easily but most people on the internet (me included) have short tempers. I do what I can to keep it in check, and actually these wars end up scaring people away from the OS's altogether, so nobody wins. Due to Microsoft's snobbiness, and Linux's inability to run all games out there, and Mac is just well...Mac (no experience on a Mac, don't plan on it either since Windows has the same video/photo editing tools like Adobe), these wars will continue until someone unites all the OS's somehow, which I would love to see because the PC world would now have a unified architecture that they could develop for. Mac only or Linux only or Windows only applications/games would not exist because all entities would essentially become one. That's my rant off, probably to much crap but whatever. Back to CSS map making!

Shame guys...shame. I'd think it would be against the rules here. I know of what he speaks of but I will not speak of it, ok? As for scanning in, it'll take me forever to hand draw out. I'm like Warner Bros., I animate every frame, not every 5 frames, but most are usually 250 frame cartoons anyway. If you guys will gimme some time, I can do one eventually. I vote for we pretend nothing ever happened >.>

It is very boxy, at least the container is. How are you going to handle the firing of the projectile and make it have the blade spin like a saw would? HL2 does do that kind of thing, which is really cool (specially in Ravenholm with the zombies), so you could have fun with that..

Where did my post go?? Oh well, my favorite game character is (already mentioned) Kairi. Not the KH1 Kairi, but the KH2 one. She's not the only one, but she's the only one that's in a video game.. If you've watched the anime series STRAIN (Soukou no Strain), the main character, Sara Werec and the purple haired girl are pretty cute. :P

Sara Werec from Soukou no Strain....not english dubbed unfortunately, but its a really good Anime. Look it up on youtube shows as "Strain".

This dream happened to me twice in 3 weeks. I went to some ruins on a class trip about some ancient cannabalistic monkeys. There were sealed chambers some archeologists were trying to get into and the monkeys burst out killing everyone. I was in the water area swimming when they rushed it. They jumped ontop of my head and literally ate through my body. I woke up when they reached my kidneys, and my right kidney started to spaz out when I woke up. (or felt like it was being squeezed). I've had weirder dreams where my head was shot off by rockets, chainsaws, machine guns, sniper bullets and woken up with no ill effects, but that dream really affected me.

Whoa whoa whoa, hold it there man. Don't start bashing. I do not recall me bashing Linux. Most stuff works on Windows better because it has easier to use programming languages. Microsoft is the cheap part here, and Windows 7 (The new one) is quite the opposite of what you say Windows is. Even XP is very good, unless you are being stupid and get it virus infected. Virtual PC. If you know what you're doing can easily emulate most OS's (See here for Linux howto, and also Cygwin.) Because most software runs on Windows, and Linux is more used for servers if you think about it. We all have our own opinions about Operating Systems. I have dabbled in Ubuntu and enjoyed it, but missed some Windows features.

Wine is not a perfect emulation. If they can perfect Wine and/or Mono and create a great IDE for VB.net, then I would migrate to Linux. Until then, I stick with Windows due to full gaming compatibility and ease of programming.

Dear Lord, I really wish I hadn't read this....she must have had some persuasive voices to do that to her baby! Marked, I'd recommend a slightly larger warning, because I kind of blew it off when I read it.....I really regret that now. That poor family...and that poor kid! Dude, classic was where it's at. It started the whole thing! 3D looked decent...but what really sold it [for me] was the Fireworks editor, and sadly, this series won't get any newer because Atari and Chris Sawyer reached a disagreement somewhere....or so I've heard.

Color blindness has nothing to do with how bright a color is, its how you can tell colors apart. Just thought I'd point it out. I like the 1st one, It's detail is very nice.
