Game Kits close due to money issues and retards not reading stuff correctly. This one is based on peer-to-peer sharing (free). So unless I die it will stay open.

GDR is my replacement for Game Kits. It is a community for people to post their creations and share them with others who may need resources for their game. We do not give support for any game making software, but do allow members to advertise their site where people can get support (this feature also has a rating system). We are looking for people to fill some basic rolls: 1) 1 Admin 2) 2 Moderators 3) And any one who can create resources: Icons, Character Sets, Battlers, Title Sets, Window Skins, Animations, Scripts, Tutorials, music, sound effects, etc. (for any software). Does anyone here have skill in making pixal art (resources)? This includes but is not limited to character sheets (human, non-human, animals, and monsters); icons; tile sets (auto as well); and window skins for RMXP type style. ~Noob Saibot

That was a money issue. Most people that would have agreed to create resources wanted me to pay them for their work when it was explained that it was a make and pay module. With the exception of a few I contacted to work on stuff. However, I think a resource site in itself is still a good idea, but finding people to fill it with all new content is hard and expensive.

Wow, I leave for awhile and shit hits the fan...however, even I have wasted time, effort, and money in sites that didn't seem to go anywhere.

Fill it up more and I'll be able to update my list with a Recommended filter.

Stencyl has been on the list since I created it. Stencyl is not that old. The software itself (from release date) is quite young.

Added a new review of the RPG game Grandia for the PS1, by Game Arts.

I have signatures disabled as in my opinion a ton of images or an image over 500x100 is pointless and usless. I got tired of the liner sig rules here and just disabled them.

jQuery simplifies Java Script. Imagine a dumbed down version of Java Script. However, the filter in truth could be used for anything. I simply created a filter for sorting game making software by: free, commercial, 2D, 3D, WIndows, Mac, Linux, etc.

NOTE: This list will expand upon GDU's Engine List that Marked plans on making. It is designed to be simple and not exceed the Engine list information wise that Marked plans on making. For those who don't know I created a Game Making Software List and as of now it is called: GDU: Software List. I think it is Rather generic though and if anyone has a nice name to call the list besides: GDU: Software List, GDU: Engine List, or GDU Gaming Making List please post your suggestions below. ~Keven
