Actually, I have been using the full Japanese version, and I have to say, I'm impressed, this is basically a version of 2K3 that has a lot of the features from XP including RGSS, which has been upgraded to RGSS2. I will actually make a game with this, the mapping a graphics remind me of retro games. And I have seen people here happily commenting on RM2K and RM2K3 game graphics, what makes VX any different?! All they have done, is made 2K/3 graphics looks much less pixelated, and given us the power to edit the bits we do not like with RGSS2, what more can you ask for? So anyone who says I like 2K/3 graphics but hates VX graphics is just being hypocritical. Sorry if I sounded a bit rude there but there was no other way of expressing that... EDIT: By the way Emily, VX doesn't have any battlers.

Ah.... almost forgot about that. To get it, go to Shadow Destiny, look for the subforum -=DEC-Studios=- and look for the game there, a full list of errors and other things you need to do to fix the BETA are there.

All you have to do to get this to work, is export the Charset's into the battlers folder and RMXP will automatically reassign the RTP, any custom ones you will have to do your self. Here is an example of the battle system in action, there is an error with the windowskin but that has been fixed, it won't affect your game as it was a clash with another script. Basically, RGSS stands for Ruby Game Scripting System. It is a version of the programming language Ruby, that was edited for use in RPG Maker XP, and now with RGSS2, RPG Maker VX. It has been changed to make it better, more versatile and easier to use. Nothing much else really...

As I am Jewish, my religion basically says that Homosexuality is a sin, but that doesn't let me say that no other people have to be Heterosexual because of me. I live in the UK, where Gay Civil Marriages are legal. At the moment, gay people cannot marry in a church etc... I have been taught that marriage is the joining two people in the eyes of God. In that statement, all it says is TWO PEOPLE, not two heterosexual people. God gave us freewill so we should be able to marry another man (or woman) if they really want. If you truly love that person, then you are still keeping the love of God in your heart, and isn't that truly enough?

Oh my, that winter maps look fantastic. And there is a way of getting some clipped trees to be placed on the 3rd layer without clipping but it takes practice. I will try and get a map out soon.

Well, if you look at one of the screenshots below the Tileset palette there are 5 tabs labeled ABCDE, I hope that they are mapping layers, have 2 more will take mapping to a whole new level.
