Does this game have connection with the Wizardy series?

Well, Im still waiting for my world map to be done. I don't want to make a demo until the world map is done, sorry.
-
This looks pretty good. Sounds like a easy way to make your own battlers.
-
They look good, but I have found one that fits in with the world map, but thanks anyway.

Sorry for my late reply. I haven't been home. Happy birthday.

I did. I wanted to see how your map looked like. And it was cool. Let the best man win.

Adam@ You must give a reason why he must change skin. Don't write like you wrote, ever again. It sounds like you are force him to change. I took a look on the site. The skin is a little bit to light blue. It dosen't fit in with the white text.

Guess I will start posting here. Post some screenshots first. I want to see screens from the game first, before >I download anything.

Sure. show me what you got.

Map Type: Sunny Forest Map Size: 23X19 How to do Since many of the nature types map has the same mapping system, it's pretty easy to make a Sunny Forest map. This type of map is my kind of favorite, so it's an honor to teach it out. First of all, make a little road. Since it's a forest, don't make the road straight. It dosen't look realistic, and looks very.....ulgy. The road works on all layers, but it should be in the first layer. You could have a little river going through the forest. But not so big, just a little one. If you are planning to have a big one, make it in different forms, and not just a big straight one. You could also use the fallen trees as bridges. Next, it's time for trees, flowers, grass and stones. You could have the flowers, trees and stones on the third layer, so they can stand on the grass, but I recomend to have the trees on the second layer. Also, you could have a darker part of the grass on the first layer. Now, you think that the map is very empty. But Im not done yet. Now, on the third layer, it's time to put out the Tree autotile. Now, you could have some fogs, animals, and stuff like that. It's very fun to make forests maps, and I enjoy it alot. And here's one I have done. As I like to say. Here's is my second map tutorial. Map Tutorial 2: Interior Maps Lesson one Ok. I have practiced in inner mapping skills, and I feel done to do this tutorial. Tileset: Town Interior Map Size: 20x15 Here we go. When you make inner maps, don't make them square. That will never work, and it dosen't look great. This is wrong!!! Try to make small rooms in the big room, so it looks good. This is right. Don't use the same type of floor in the whole house. Mix them, like another type in the kitchen, and another one in the living room, and so on. Also, some says that walls should be in the second layer. Wrong! It works perfect to have it in the first layor. Now, you can have windows and furniture on the second layer. And pictures and lamps should be on the third layor. This is not one of my best maps, but you get the point of how you should do. Let your imagination take over you, then it will turn out great, like this map. This map is from my pirate game im working on. I took 20 minutes on this map, and it's one of my best maps I ever done. I will return with more tutorials later. Im tired to do more today. Thank you.

Step 1 First of all, make the ground. There, you can decied how to make the ground, like rivers, darker grass and roads for an exampel. I always does this first, so it becomes more easy for me. An exampel. I have done a linking road, some darker parts of the grass, and a river. Not straight, have some variations on the rivers. It dosen't look good if it's straight. Exampel. Step 2 You have a good ground. Now, we need trees, hills and stuff like that. I always have the lower parts of the trees on the second layer, and the tops on the third layer. Then, you can make some trees standing close to eachother. B) Then, you can make some waterfalls also onthe second layer. Have them spread out in the river, it gives a more natural look. Like I have done here. Now, i have this stream thing, wich is nice. Now, we come to the hills. Have them spread out, but not to many. Hva them in the corners, or small hills in the middle. The hills should be in the middle. I will explain later. Bridges should also be in the second layer. Then, you can have the fence thing in the third. Flowers, stones and all things like that can be in the second layer, but you can also have them in the third, if you want some flowers over the grass for an exampel. Get variations on the plants. It dosen't look good if it's the same plans everywhere, the same with the trees. Now the map looks like this. Step 3 Now, we have the map. To make it even better, have fogs and pamoramas also. It makes a natural feeling over the map. And if you want( Is not always neccesarry, I never have it) have some animals running around also( Just for nature maps). I would recommand to have more birds then any other animals. And in the end, the map looks like this( I don't want any critism over the map. The m?p just shows how you can make good maps.) Hoe this has been any help for you. I will work on my interior style, so I can have a tutorial on that later. ~Black Shadow

Your mapping needs a little more work, since most of them are little empty. And Im very against the windowskin. It dosen't look good.

Any update of the mapping yet? Because from that map you have, I say you need to work with your mapping, since it's very empty. -
Nice character pack. Credit to Alael.

My imagination is my inspiration. imagination is the most iportent thing you need when you create games and maps.
