While talking with a friend on MSN, we began to start of the RTP, and both he and me never had finished a project, after doing alot of them. He suggest to make a project competition on another forum, that was going to be made only with the RTP. I began to think then, and realised how much fun it was when I started with RM back in 2004/2005, when I didn't had any skills at all, and only used the RTP. Both of us agreed. Since we both has gotten better on RM skills, we could both do good games with the RTP only. This is my RTP Project. Legend Of Retapia Story Retapai..A world South from the Milky Way. A place with amazing nature, and people gifted with the gift Magia. Created by the gods of Faith and Joy. Retapia is covered 87% of water, and the rest is forests and mountains. This means that the people is exellent swimmers. And they loves the sea more then anything. More then Magia itself. Still, some use Magia for evil purpose, and they have been banished to Limbo. A landscape of death and sorrows, deep into the mountians. People that will never return to the civlisation again... In the village of Costa Villa, a young woman named Maia lived a peacfull life with her Father, a local fisher, and her mother, a home maid. Costa Villa is located on a small island, South from the Big City Of Atlantica. Costa Villa is an importent Island for the fish Market, and most of the villagers lives on their fishing. But lately, the fishes has been attacked by Lugias. Lugias is a sea creature, that often lives in sea caves, and never visits the beaches, were the fishes are loaded up in ropes and barrels. Maia start her day as useall. Wakes up in the middle of the day, after her mother jealed at her for 5 Minutes. Her mother tells her to help her father at the beach. He's having problems with Lugis again. Why does the Lugias suddenly attacking the fishing camps? And why are the sea Elementals more active then they used to? Does Magia has something with this? Is someone using it wrong? And who's using it?.... But what's different with this game from the rest of all annoying RTP Games? Well....not much:P, but Im planning to have these systems. Alcohol System: Yeah, that's right. Alcohol. The people of Reptapia also haves a desire of alcohol. In every town you visit, you surelly gonna find a tavern were you can by alcohol. But what's great with alcohol? Well, in our world, alcohol often leads to pain and death. In Reptapia, some alcoholic drinks gives you different types of Status changes. For exampels: Beer: Mostly the useless drink of them all. It dosen't change any stats. It just make you drunk. Whiskey: Expensive drink, wich heals your SP with 50% Bloody Mary: Guards you from Fire attacks. Sex On The Beach: Guards you from Water attacks But there's always something negative with it. Everytime you drink an alcohol drink, you will get the stat Drunk. As long as you are drunk, people won't talk to you. This is very bad if you are searching for information from certian of peoples. There's only one way to cure yourself from it. You can't wait until the next day, and get a hang over, like in real world. You need to buy a Potion called Laguna. It's an expensive Potion, and it's the only way to cure yourself from the drunk status. Characters I have only one so far: Maia: Age:23 Weapon: Short types of swords. Maia lives in the small village of Costa Villa, south from the City Atlantica. She's wasn't born with Magia, and never got the chance to learn it, because of her isolation from the rest of the world. Maia has a lazy attitude, and dosen't take people serius. This often gives her problem with older and wise people, and often ends up with a argument she can't win. I can't find that button when I enter the RPG Maker Xp category.

I made an little edit of the Snowfield tileset, since I thought that the tileset was boring. You are free to use it. NOTE: I will also some of my edited tilesets to the Gallery, if I find out how to submit^^ :P

What's the red thing surrounding his legs? I think the red dosen't fit in with the blue. Other from that, it's a great start. :)

This topic is nearly a year old, and has been dead for almost a year. I doubt that the user who asked this is active anymore. Check date before you post. If the date is older then 2 months, the topic may be dead, and it's called necroposting if you post in an old topic. Of course, this dosen't count in project threads, as long as it's the owner of the project who posts updates.

They look good both of them. Well done. Here's a map I made to a dude. He was going to use it has his desktop.

No worries. I will try to explain easy. :) To start with, make 2 Switches called Bob and Bob2. Make an event called Frank. Make him say "Talk to Bob", then, turn Local Switch A On, and Switch Bob On. Make a second event called Bob. Make a conditional Branch there. Do like this. This mean that if you have spoken to Frank, and the Switch Bob has been turned on, the event were Bob speaks nonsence will start. If you haven't spoken to Frank before, Bob will have no idea who you are. When you mae Switch Bob2 On, go back and talk to Frank. Go back to the Frank event. Make a new page on that event, with the Local Switch A On, nd with a new conditional Branch. Because Swtich Bob2 has been activated, Frank will say " See, Bob is Smart/Wise". If you haven't spoken to Bob yet, the other message will come instead. Hope you understand.

I will download it and try, and I will comment on it when I have tried it. EDIT: At the first look, I couldn't seen so much differences, but when I looked at the coding, I can see some mayor differences. Nice done.
