OneStopWeb - The one stop you will ever have to make to get a website.

Very nicely done. Love the front page for games :) . I love the whole layout.

I usually recognize people by the name. If you change your name it confuses the hell out of me. Happens lots in games, friends change name and i dont know who they are anymore so i remove them from the friends list cause i dont ever remember adding that person.

Is anyone actually interested in OpenRGSS?
Polraudio replied to Moonpearl's topic in Programming & Web Development
I love the idea but i kind of moved away from RPG Maker and moved on to Unity now. -
Looks like you might not have the required font. Go through the script and remove any lines that say this self.contents.font.name = $defaultfonttype self.contents.font.size = $defaultfontsize then let me know if it works.

That means you dont have that picture in that location. in your graphics/picture folder put the file its requesting. you can just take any old picture and just rename it to what its requesting as long as its in that folder. It looks like its looking for "Title Pic" without quotes.

Welcome to GDU Henry :) . I see your other skills is "Game Design Student". So are you going to school for game design? -
I can understand the graphics downgrade for consoles but for PC it shouldn't have happened. The reason games look so good at E3 every year is because they are running on a PC with graphics turned up just to make the game look better so people will get all hyped up about the graphics. EDIT: it kind of has to be done that way cause to port it to consoles for E3 would be kind of a pain. I dont see why they just didnt lower the graphics to meet what consoles are capable of.

Just going to ramble my thoughts in a messy format. Watch Dogs wasnt a bad game. I bought it before release and the season pass so i put a bit of money into it. They could have done a better job on the hacking part imo but i suppose you got to make it simple for people. I thought the whole hacking into CTOS stations was very fun but there were not very many of them so that fun didnt last very long. The fake feeling of driving took a little while to get use to. Shooting and cover system was awesome. As for the story, i thought it was a good story and nothing to grand. I never once got the feeling like "OMG i cant believe i just did that!" like i got when i played GTA5. My final conclusion for Watch Dogs.. Its a fun game to play for many hours but gets boring fast. Its only worth playing for 1 playthrough cause once you beat the game you dont have any urge to go back to play it again. Compared to GTA5 its got a long way to go. I beat GTA5 a few times and actually have the urge to beat/play it again. I normally dont like music but the song in watchdogs that made me have fun playing was Hey Micky(might not be the name since i dont know music names/artists). Graphics:(7/10)(9/10 with E3 graphics) Was kind of a letdown since it didnt have the graphics that were showen at E3. But with mods(Only for awesome PC) i was able to make it look awesome. Sounds:(10/10) Game sounded great in all areas and made me feel like i was in a living world. My fav would have to be the cars. Gameplay:(7/10) Gameplay was good in some areas and bad in some. Most notable was the cover/shooting system that felt good to use. The main downfall to the gameplay was the fake driving system. It felt like i was driving a fricken tank. I was able to plow through anything like nothing to it. The whole driving system felt fake IMO. Story:(8/10) The story was good but there was no awesome moments in the story to give me that feeling like i did something rewarding. Final: (8/10) Watch Dogs is a fun game if you want to kill time. I would recommend picking up Watch Dogs for the story and fun shooting/cover system. The game isnt worth a 2nd playthrough, so you may want to wait till the game ends up $20 before picking up this title. Worth: $20 2 Screenshots i took from the game when i was bored. First one is a twilight reference. http://steamcommunity.com/id/polraudio/screenshot/48727944511268797 I was having fun playing with stoppers and managed to get this lady stuck. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=305586199

Finally have an idea for a unity game and have started work :D. Cant giveaway what im working on yet so you will have to wait :P.

Scripting is advanced. i would start with something a little more simple like mapping and events. with mapping and events you can make your game world and make it come alive. that's the most important part in a rpg maker game. i would save scripting for when you master events and mapping.

I think game devs are to worried about making profits than actually making something good. they push out games as fast as they can without even really doing something new just to make a quick buck to make the next quick buck game. As far as watch dogs. I loved the game for the first play through but its not worth a 2nd one. Where in GTA i played through more that thing 3 times and still not bored of it. I still haven't touched watchdogs since i beat it 3 days after release. Consoles need to go. They are holding back games because devs have to dumb it down so its not a laggy peice of shit. Personally i think devs should make the game for PC with all the features and stuff they want then dumb it down and port it so shitty consoles. Lots of people are saying consoles are slowly dying and i can agree. Why should i spend $400 every console generation for a console thats still half as powerful as a PC when i can spend $400 every 2 console generations. Consoles will always be less powerful than a PC and dont have very many exclusive titles. People will argue that its easier because a controller is easier for them to use and they like to play on the TV instead of sitting on a desk. Well they are wrong because you can infact hook up a PC to a TV and also use a controller no problem. Sorry to get a little off topic i had to get that out there to you anti-pc people. On to DLC/Expansions. I split up DLC into 2 areas. DLC = Little content like guns, cars, outfits and levels/maps(looking at you COD). Expansions = Stuff that actually adds stuff to the game like gameplay, new story, and tons of content that will just add hours of gameplay to the game. I dont like DLC but like Expansions. I dont much like DLC. I hate when any peice of content is held back by money. EX: Buying a new outfit for the player for $1 or a new car for $5. To me thats just dumb. Especially when its something that was just removed from the game to be able to sell it. Expansions are actually good cause it actually adds to the game and makes it better. Look at skyrim for a good example. The expansions dragonborn and dawnguard were awesome as hell "Expansions" that actually added new world environments and new story elements where hearthfire was just a "DLC". I think the gaming industry can bounce back to its glory days(the 90's) if they just stop cranking out as many games as they can and actually spend more time on them to make a better game with innovative technology. Cause "Next Gen" is not next gen at all, its the same as last gen. They also need to stop hitting their games with a hammer to make it more dumb so consoles can actually run it. Seriously whats up with this 720p shit on new consoles, 1080p should be a REQUIREMENT by now. They also need to stop with the stupid "DLC" and micro transactions stuff and start releasing "Expansions" instead. Dear: COD, Stop making games every damn year and start putting some damn effort into your games. Games shouldnt come out every year, they should come out every 2-? years as a masterpeice. Games should expand upon what was already done and not be the SAME as the other games before them. I know FPS's are hard to do something new with but at least try. Honest Gamer, Polraudio. Screw consoles. PC MASTERRACE FOR LIFE!

Polraudio replied to Ultim1337Gamer's topic in Community Contests & Events
The problem i see right now is the points. You dont have enough points to payout the prizes. -
Changed the how to enter so its easier to figure out whats required. If you dont do the required none of the optional will count.
