Yeah, something like live messenger, or yahoo, aim. any of those would work.

I believe what he means is: It's not required, but recommended.

I believe so, if i understand you correctly. You just have to put in the variables, and it will transfer. I hate to get off topic, but have you an IM? If so, you can pm it to me, cuz this would be a lot easier to explain that way.
-
For the command window, you use: t = Tone.new(r, g, b, a) Move.xfer(map_id, new_x, new_y, facing, t) But, you define the: r, g, b, a, map_id, new_x, new_y, facing. The 't' is the tone above it. And, that tone will be the tone of the next map you go to. You need both lines, but you have to define all those variables. Sounds hard, but it is kind of simple. Like in the example: t = Tone.new(-100, -100, -255, 0) Move.xfer(1, 7, 10, 6, t) I defined the t to be that particular tone (it will have no blue, just be a darker yellow), then the next map they move to would be the map with the id of 1, they'd be at x location 7, y location 10, and facing right. It sounds complex, I know... but when you get it down, it is quite easy.

let me see your event code? what you are using, the entire window. (yes, redundant) I forgot! I should mention in the instructions, when it says this: # So, a command should look like this: # t = Tone.new(-100, -100, -255, 0) # Move.xfer(1, 7, 10, 6, t) the t = Tone.new(x, y, z, a) That is the Tone of the screen where you are transferring TO. It automatically fades to black. I should have specified that, and I am sorry.

Well, I have just updated it so it will work in any Scene. Just a change in syntax.
-
interesting error... are you trying to transfer during the Title Scene?
-
Certainly hope it helps out.

I just posted a script that should help make this easier.
-
Okay, I am not too keen on the User Submitted Scripts area, but this is posted there as well. At any rate, here is an Auto-Fade script. Should help make the transferring of the player somewhat easier. I know not everyone uses a 'fade' mechanic, so I didn't want to just edit the original 'Transfer Player' button. Now, the instructions are in the header of the script. Further, I included a demo as well. If I could, I'd include a screenshot, but that would do little justice, if any at all. Without further ado, here be the script:

This gives me a great idea for a script. Maybe something to work on for myself. Thanks, Crimson!

Interesting. I presume it is to be used wtih RmXP? if not, what is it for? cause it looks wacky. Cool, but a little crazy.

"Over here, formless!" I call, from the other side of the rubble. "So far, you and rgangsta are the only two I've found. Any others?"

Okay, here is my shot at a cow pasture:

Coming upon the forum, he begins searching, area at a time, until he comes upon the Cafe. "Hey, anyone here?"

Voted, if only to help you.

And if the dam breaks open many years too soon And if there is no room upon the hill And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

Greetings, make yourself at home. Just don't drink the water. Have a cookie instead. But seriously, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

How do you feel about the use of the Atomic bomb in 1945?
Leon replied to Jesse66126's topic in The Cafe
You know, I will have to say, after the 60-70 firebombings that did little, and the refusal of the Potsdam Declaration, it is actually a sound military tactic to pull out the 'big-guns' if it means bringing peace. I mean, when you look at the grand scheme of things, the Japanese brought in 2400 casualties with Pearl Harbor; they outlasted the Germans, they trained their soldiers to never quit. The war had already brought on roughly 65 million war-related deaths, give or take 10 million. Yes, millions; and only 22-25 million of those being soldiers. Had Nagasaki and Hiroshima not been bombed, the totals could have been drastically increased. In the bigger picture, to me, I see 220,000 deaths more appropriate than if the war continued, and that factor be multiplied greatly. -
Groggily, I pushed myself up from the ground, face covered in dust and ash. As I pulled myself up to my knees, I looked at the havoc caused. 'How did it truly come to this?' I wondered, eyeing the damage. 'I just wanted to point out the manner people were acting was getting unruly, and that a private warning system wasn't working...' I stood, and began wandering, looking for other survivors. 'I hope people took a hard look at themselves, and learned. I know I have.' As I walked along the empty streets, I passed by the scripting building, pages scattered about. I bent down, reading some of the lines that I, myself, have written; reminicing of the good times. Pocketing a few of the pages, I made my way toward the Staff building. As I drew my steps to a close, my foot kicked something, making a scraping noise which echoed. Looking down, I picked up what was nudged. "RMXP Revolution" The old plaque read. 'Marked's dream... Revolution, turned to Unlimited close to the beginning.' using my tattered shirt, I cleaned the plaque. "I have to take this to him..." Looking around, I saw nobody, but knew if everyone would meet somewhere, it'd be the Forum. With this in mind, I began my journey, eager to meet other survivors, and praying nobody held any ill will against the happenings.

Feedback for everyone on the site.

Not once did I call a name. actually say it out loud. This topic was to point out people are being rude. I am sick of it, but I won't let this site's integrity go down because of it. -

It's not much fun the shoe is on the other foot for the people who started this, is it? I think I have begun to make my point. -

How? I didn't name a name, and I didn't CALL a name. I said these few people start shit. Not are shit. I got tired of seeing the name of Unlimited's staff being dragged through the mud, and I got tired of people always bringing race or other things into almost every debate or topic. I would rather see this major feedback opened rather than let RMXPU's name be smudged.
