I turned around, almost shocked by Adam. "Yeah," I said, rubbing my eye, "Just trying to find more survivors," I fired my nail gun at another zombie that emerged from behind the Video Shop.

 

"I think there might be another survivor in the Video Shop," I said, "The doors and windows are barricaded and there are new zombie corpses that I havn't seen from time to time."

 

[Adam also realises that the eye Tom is rubbing has a small pupil than the other]

I awoke within the chemist area at about dawn. "Another perfect day," I said to my self sarcasticly. I began to stock up on weapons, in a plan to reach the the Mall.

 

After quickly crafting make-shift bombs, I began to wonder why I would need them. "Well, I could always kill off some of the survivors."

 

Steping outside, I was met with about thirty zombies, all of which acted as my body guards. I decided to move underground, and headed for the nearest Subway Entrence, holding onto the two bombs I had carefully. Once of the zombies near me said, in a low voice "Maybe you could set a bomb off underground..."

 

And so, I began my treck to the mall...

"ow, that was a bit odd....", I said.

 

"What did you have to say?", Maya handed me the blueprint.

 

"ohh... That" I grinned

 

"it looks like there won't be too long after finding the cure..." everyone was silent

 

"first things first, we need to find one of those creatures you sketched Tom"

 

"Welcom by the way Adam. Help is the best thing we need."

The small group of zombies I lead finally left the subway, and although near the School, Pet Shop, and the Abandoned Military Bunker, I didn't quite feel like going after any survivors was needed just yet.

 

"I'm surprized," one of the zombies said to me, ""You could have set off a bomb somewhere underground..." At this, I kill the zombie in one swip of my arm, revealing a hidden dagger. "No one tells me what to do! Besides, these bombs aren't what you might think..."

 

I pick up the zombie's head, threw it aside, and continue to walk down the street, hoping to avoid any survivors...

In the distance I saw a group of zombies walking through the street. One was far larger than the others, possibly their leader. I also saw him decapitate one of his own zombies for no reason I could see. I wouldn't like to mess with him.

 

I ran up the Video Store door, knocked on it and said "Is anybody inside?". Then shot a few zombies that came from me from behind the store.

Just before turning the street, I hear the clear sound of a nail gun being fired. I stop to see several zombies fall. "So, a survior wants to kill a few of my zombies...," I think to myself, "Then maybe he should have a little fun."

 

I throw the zombie head into the air, throw two nearby zombies into the air near the head, and then throw one of my "bombs" up with the mix. The bomb erupts into a noxious, purple-gray gas which compleatly covers all the zombies near me, along with the zombies I threw into the air. Before the gas can clear, I rush to the Subway Entry near by.

"Lets see how you like a super zombie," I quietly say to myself as I hide within the subway entry.

I saw a weird gas come from whatever the leader through, along with 2 zombies. But that wasn't all; then the zombies morphed. I quickly fired around 7 at one, killing it in mid-morph. I turned to the other and fired. The nails meerly bounced off of it.

 

I tried firing at its eyes, but the same thing happened. "Move!" I yelled at Adam, pointing to the Bunker. I continued to fire the nail gun at the same place. It slowly made progress but it wouldn't be enough. I drew my kitchen knife and stabbed it, but the knife shattered upon impact.

 

I ran up behind it and fired at the back of its head, the nails lodging themselves in the back of its head. I continued to fire at the beast until it fell to its knees, stood up, and retreated...

 

If its got more friends like that, we are screwed...

 

[And now the super zombie will return to Mao, where he will probally find a way to fix the weakness I exposed]

I ran like hell towards the bunker when Tom yelled at me.

"Hurry up man!" I hollered back. "Don't get yourself killed either!!"

 

I ran inside and towards the back room.

 

[in case you didn't notice, I ran before I see it run away]

 

"Get up! Somethin big is outside after Tom!" I shouted. "Hurry!"

During that short fight, I was able to make it to the mall, where I would have the strongest control over the Zombie army. Although the Super Zombie had a weakness, it was able to escape Tom by going underground, and then, after a short amount of time, it came up within the mall next to me.

 

"Hmm..." I noticed the nails in the back of it's head, and fastened a metal plate onto the back of his head. "Now then, to observe my new creation's movements..." By taking a camera nearby, I attached it onto it's forehead. "Now, my minion. I want you to make sure that their are no survivors within that video shop area." It began to look at me with confusion, I thought. "Understand?" I asked it. It began to shake its head, and then returned underground to plan its next move.

Returning from his scavenge trip to collect supplies and antibiotics from the pet store he viewed another survivor. Exchanging names and such, Albedo invited Tom in.

 

"But the video store is barricaded, how are we to get in without breaking them down?" Tom asked quizzically.

Just as they approached the hind side of the store, Albedo dropped his bag full of supplies and leaped from the ground onto a metal wire fence and bounced on to the roof.

"Pass me my bag, Tom!"

Tom quickly reacted and tossed the gray bag upwards. Using the remote he rewired from the video store he deactivated his pressure sensor and laser tripwire mines placed around the roof, then threw down a rope made of bound together wood fibers.

 

"You must have alot of time on your hands" Tom said astonished

"You haven't even seen inside yet" Albedo laughingly replied.

 

Inside Albedo showed Tom the security cameras and stations he had planted. Taking the security cameras from both the pet and video store he placed the cameras around central points around the video store and connected them to various television sets he found.

 

"I'm protected from almost all angles, normally if a zombie takes a step near here the laser will turn off a small alarm up here. But with these damn shortages, the system has been missing quite a few lately so I had to barricade myself in. Its amazing what a few laser pointers, car batteries and alarm clocks can do. Im hoping to get my hands on some shock collars and a few other supplies from the pet store next time." Al told Tom

 

"You must be like.....McGyver with all this stuff, but yet no ranged weapon?" Tom replied

"Im not that good with ranged weapons unless its some type of pistol, I'm still looking for my pool cue tho. I dropped it near the bunker when the outbreak started but I haven't had any luck finding it. If i get my hands on that then I wont need any other weapon." Al said strongly

The super zombie emerged from underground within the school and began to destroy everything. Well, it would have, but since it had grown by absorbing some of the zombies nearby, it became so big it sprang right through the school roof. It still continued to destroy the school, but it decided to smash the walls down, and in doing so, the entire west side of the school [the side facing the Video Store] was reduced to rubble within a short time.

 

Using the camera I had stuck within its head, I was observing it from a distance. "Why destroy the school!?" I began to wonder. Then I saw why. The super zombie grows stronger with the more zombies it absorbes...

As Tom and Albedo think about where to move to next a faint ringing sound is hear and Tom points to a now static filled screen. Albedo, startled, runs and begins to rewind the last moments of tape playing before the camera went offline. Both of them sat in horror. The 30 seconds in complete silence seemed like forever but was cut short by the meowing from downstairs.

 

"We gotta get moving Tom, I have a plan but I'm not sure if it will work....." Albedo said quickly

They moved downstairs and cats begain to pour in with knapsacks attached to them.

"Whats with the cats?" Tomo asked

"I found them all on my first scavenge trip to the pet store, so I began to train them to gather supplies or anything like looks useful"

*Albedo bends over and picks up his favorite cat, Marche*

"MARCHE!!!!! You got it!!! HAHA! TOM COME ON!!!! I got a plan for that behemoth. Its a little something I've been cooking up just incase I ever become infected"

 

"ZOMBIE!!!!!!!!" Tom yells

NOOO!! WAIT! thats Bob, Hes different. Just watch.

Albedo climbs into the ceiling and runs Zom-Die.exe on the computer before shutting it down.

He hurries down and lets Bob go who seems to not react to Tom but follows Albedo

 

"You domesticated a zombie.....now Ive seen it all" Tom said

"Ehh....hes the first zombie that i felt emotions from so I figured he didn't want to be a zombie. But enough talk we gotta go."

 

They run outside and can see the colossus zombie stagger towards the video store.

"Ok now watch this!"

Pulling the sheets from the cars surrounding video store to reveal what look like pipes sticking from the cars engines.

"Ok, 3! 2! 1! Fire!!!!"

Albedo pushes the button and at first the cars are unresponsive but the first fires and then the second. They both bombard the behemoth in the chest.

"Jackpot! Now for the cream de la creme!"

He runs up and kicks the cars and they start to whirl

"Lets go Tom, the shop will take care of itself now!"

The cannons facing east enable auto rapid fire and quickly subdue the beast.

 

The loud boom brings more zombies but the mini cannons outfitted to the cars fire bricks, pipes and any other junk loaded into the hopper.

 

As Albedo, Tom and Marche run towards the bunker, Albedo reaches in his bag and presses the ON button on his remote.

 

"Whats gonna happen when the hoppers empty out, Al?" Tom asked in between pants

"Well that's what the cats are for, its like second nature to them. As long as they keep reloading then they get to live. They're fast enough to outrun any zombies and if one does get caught, then those around tend to help it escape. I love cats *meow*" Al replied proudly

 

"Did he just *meow*?" Tom thought in his head, "What a freak...."

The super zombie [or colossus zombie now] felt the blow of something hitting his chest. It was unresponsive, but decides that it needed some sort of a weapon. It picks up a nearby tree and throws it at the bunker's door, blocking anyone from getting in or out.

 

"{Insert evil laugh here}" I began to laugh at the humans I saw through the camera. "Small, weak, and patetic! {Insert evil laugh here} Ok, Colossus Zombie, thats enough. Return underground so that we can plan our next attack. They didn't make me a general while I was alive for nothing!"

 

"Nothing...," I began to think, "Why did they make me a general if they knew one of thier soilders was going to become what I am today..."

"Grr.....TOM! Got a map?" Albedo snaps

Tom hands him his.

 

 

"Hmm....good. Ok, we're headed to an old spot of mine. Its not on the map but I should know my way around. Lets go" Al barked

 

"I..I have to make sure those in the bunker are alright, Al. I cant go with you." Tom hesitated

 

"Grr....I was just beginning to like your company too....fine do what you must. I'll come find you, just know I'll be watching. Lets ride, Marche!" Albedo said with a sigh

 

Albedo and Tom split ways with Tom tending to those trapped within the bunker and Albedo running into the horizon with his trusted pet Marche by his side and his zombie, Bob, lumbering behind.

 

Albedo then abruptly stop, turns around and shouts, "TOM! IF YOU CAN GET THAT THING CONTAINED, THEN I MAY HAVE A LITTLE SURPRISE FOR YA!!! CONTAINED, NOT DEAD. WONT BE MUCH USE TO US IF IT CANT MOVE!!! Then he turns and continues sprinting, eventually disappearing by leaping over a wooden fence.

 

*Side Note* I didnt mean to change the super zombie's name. I only said colossus to give a description of how tall or big it was but we can keep it if you like :D*

[He has different forms, depending on how many zombies it's absorbed. Super Zombie is about thirty-ish zombies, Colossus zombie is about 100-ish zombies, and lets just say you don't want to see what happenes when he absorbs over 500 zombies...]

I pulled out my chainsaw and slowly started cutting down the tree in front of the bunker door. It was tough, but I sawed it down eventually.

 

It took me 10 minutes to move it out of the way of the bunker. I quickly opened the hatch but the tree had destroyed the lever. "Fuck," I said, "CJ! SOMEONE LET ME IN!" I yelled, pounding against the door. The door opened, and CJ was standing at the door.

 

"What happened?" asked CJ. I smiled as I entered the bunker "I'll explain everything."

When the Colossus Zombie returned to the mall, it had already absorbed about 200 zombies from outside of the town. It kept most of it's body underground, as to avoid destroying the mall any more. "A compleate success," I yelled out loud is joy, "Now that I know the gas is a success, I can begin making more of it."

 

One of the nearby zombies heard me, and ran to where I was, thinking that I was a survivor. As soon as the zombie came within eye-sight of the Colossus Zombie, it was absorbed within it's undead heartbeat, and grew a few more inches. I didn't pay attention to what it had done as I said, "Your next job, Colossus, is to find a nearby river or source of fresh/salt water, and bring back 50 gallons of it. I will not accept failure. Understand?" It seemed to understand as it returned underground, and started to head South.

 

[For the next 2 hours, the zombie will be out of the town.]

there was a loud clank outside of the bunker

 

"first give me a 20 on the suplies then gather some wood from that tree gatheral all the ammo you can find and CJ?" said Riley as he came through the door with 6 other soldiers

"Riley your stil alive!" CJ looked at him with a surprised expression

Albedo arrived at his old hideout by sunset. It had been thrashed....He moved the fallen wall and the door and proceeded to enter with Marche closely behind. A few steps and it became remarkably dark.

"Bob, report"

Bob, who was a block behind, raised his head and barreled towards Albedo. He came crashing through one wall and stopped just short of Al.

"*sigh* I have GOT to fix that. Well anyways, search for a power switch and lets light this place. I cant see shit in here."

Bob then disappeared into the shadows and before long it, the lights sparked and then gave a faint but constant glow. Albedo was impressed and began to search around. Rounding the corner he found Bob.....who had used himself as a conductor in order to power the lights.

Hold on Bob, I'll fix that!

Albedo uses the metal pipe and the lights stay on.

"Hmm....now where is everyone?"

Albedo remembered the fake wall and walked over to it. Punching a hole in it he revealed a safe. Upon entering the combination the safe door opened and Al found a note and magnum ammo.

 

"Dear Albedo,

 

If your reading this then that means the crew has moved on, hopefully to another more secure spot and not into zombies. Sorry about your cue bro but to make it up we have some supplies for ya. Check in the bunker for your stuff. The code is well the "other 3 stages of the alchemic stage". Also go south, just outside of town. Theres a river there but more importantly a sewage pipe that leads into the bunker so you can avoid those undead. We know how much you like revolvers and such so we left you some, among with other stuff so cheers. Until we meet again.

Bob proceeded to pick up the box and eat a bullet

"What are you doing, Bob. Those aren't meant to be-

He then pointed his hand towards one of the insulated walls and fired the same bullet to Albedo's surprise.

".....I never programmed you to do that......AWESOME!!!!!"

 

Albedo then gathers up all usable items and then turns to Bob

 

"I need you here t fix up the place ok buddum? Ill leave my computer here so you can set it up. I'll place a few cameras around so get Marche to meow on the radio when you get them up and running. Ok buddy, I'm off. If im not back by this time tomorrow, then get Marche to meow at this frequency.

 

Bob looked quizzical at the piece of paper, as if asking why?

 

"Its the frequency if the walkie talkie I placed on Tom when we wasn't looking. If you get a response then use the computer to transmit your coords, if not then for the love of God dont do anything with that frequency."

 

Bob shook his head as if he understood and let loose one of his eyes from his skull. Placing it back in, Al saids, "I'll patch you up later, buddy!"

 

Al then goes outside and heads toward the river under the cover of dark.

"Why am I still walking on the ground? This is my chance to have some fun.....heh" With just the small radio on his waist and axe on his back, Albedo heads to the roof of a nearby house and begins to roof jump towards the river.

The Colossus Zombie reaches the river, but it not sure how to obtain 50 gallons of it. He tries taking a small leaf off of a nearby tree and scoops out a small drop of water from the river, which then drops off the leaf.

"Hey, does this thing work?"

The Colossus Zombie looks around, confused. The goes back underground, wondering what made that noise...

"Fine, fine but, what happened to you?" he asked surprised

"well we Jim's dead, Frank's lost an eye, me an arm, and you know what got loose" Riley said and CJ's smile dropped instantly.

"It's out?" asked CJ

"Yes, we tried to stop it but..." Riley began "that's when we lost Jim" said Frank his expression grave

"Secure the doors and see what you can do with them" Riley said pointing at those who were still unconciace

Albedo arrived at the river and noticed huge imprints in the Earth. At first he paid no attention to them but quickly did when he realized they were made by the Colossus Zombie. He scurried into a bush and attempted to locate the pipe into the military bunker. Upon searching he discovered the only pipe leading from the river towards the town. Hearing the zombie approaching again, he jumped from the bushes into the river and dove deep. At the river's bottom we waited for a few seconds, thinking he was going to be scooped up by the zombie and smashed into his hands. After noticing he wasnt dead but was quickly loosing air he swam to the pipe and surfaced. Gasping for the air, he turned to face the zombie who had been alerted of his presence and was trying to cross the river. Albedo jumped up and climbed inside the pipe, only to have the zombie's hand close behind.

 

As he walked further and further into the pipe, it became progressively darker and darker. He finally emerged in the military bunker, which was swarming with the undead. Luckily the pipes he was traversing in were above them so he was able to avoid engaging one. Shimmying through the bunker was hard but he finally came to an air duct and climbed inside. The duct was a tight fit but he managed to squeeze inside and come out the other end in a small room. Albedo looks around for a place to continue on and found a removable tile in the ceiling but there wasnt anyway to go....only a locked box. Albedo then entered the code in order "Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, and Rubedo". The box clicked open and within its cold, black, steel frame were 2 .44 colt anaconda revolvers as well as a note:

 

"Dear Albedo,

We couldnt retrieve your pool cue but hopfully with these you can. One of these goddamn zombies has it so you best get to work. You'll find plenty of ammo around the base so just dont die

 

Our best regards,

The Hive"

 

Albedo let out a tear as well as a sigh

"Time to get cracking I suppose" Just as he finished speaking, his tiny radio gave off feedback and he heard in a computer voice "The cameras are up"

"Good" He thought

"Now to get my cue back then get back to the hideout" Albedo stated while leaving the room.

"Lets lock and load!"

After failing to get Albedo, the Colossus Zombie then remember he needed a ton of water. After taking out the container he just remembered that was inserted into where his stomich would have been, he began to collect the water until he had what he thought would be more than enough.

 

After returning to his master [whom Ive decided I'll keep his name as Oozerot], he presented the water. "Good, thats more then enough fresh water...," Oozerot said in a low, cold voice. "Now, my Colossus Zombie. For your final task..."

 

[Please note that now, there should be a descrease in normal zombies as super zombies (the combination of multiple zombies) and even twin zombies (Two zombie heads and is slightly larger then a normal zombie) will now start to roam around. The Super Zombies can be killed by an attack from the back of their head, and a twin zombie can't be killed by slicing it in half and is weakest at the legs]

"Riley,remember the jettisoned object we hid in the subway? It's vital to this blueprint", I asked.Riley stared and he skipped a beat in his heart.

 

"Dude! You are a wack S.O.B yo! you can't re modify Johnny and expect to be decapitated!", he yelled.

 

"if we are gonging to save casualties we need to do this. Riley, do this for Jim... Frank too..", I said to him with compassion.

 

"...Fine but don't blame me in hell for getting us killed.", He said

 

"Soldiers honor", I replied

 

Me and Riley first built him a better arm that looked real as ever, and then we got to work ASAP.

 

"First thing, the secret item. other ingredients: 12 different pain antibiotics, 2 helium tanks, 1 propane tank, 2 liters of 92% aochol, 1 flame thrower, 2 zombie casualties prefered alive or, one living, one dead", I ordered "then tell everyone to meet back at the military. hijack a bus if you can Riley".

 

"K", Riley answered."let's crack these s.o.b's wide open!"
