found new tileset ^^ thought it looks really nice, odne in like a minute, if you look on the website, maps are using this set properly (btw I had to compile sections to make one tileset)

Well that topic is from three years ago, and madanchi isn't using them in a real game, so I don't think it matters.

you mean the ocons on the side? its a side menu for the Mouse, besically Instead of the Menu you have these Icons there all the time.

This is mah first VX map when I actually tried. Any comments, I've seen some pretty good VX games and decided to have a look around and see what I could do. As far as mapping...It's a bit easier than XP. This is a local forest.

 

 

And @Shalaren, I saw a VX charset of that main sprite you are using. it came with more of that style too! :biggrin_002:

Add a Parallax background. It looks weird to have the background to be black when it looks like you are in the sky(vein ladder).

Lol, I was going for a OMG I'M IN ETERNAL DARKNESS look. Maybe a paremaelax background might've worked..Too bad I erased the map. :D

Don't even bother with a parallax. Just fill in the void with boundaries like a cliff; or just more grass.

I have, mapping is so much easier in VX. I've gotten better over the last day. My houses are pretty good. I even add stuff like grass and trees on the outside so you just don't see the inside of the house.
