  1. Cool. I'll get the BBCodes working on the website shortly. This would be a good time announce one that I added yesterday called Dropcap. See the first "C" in this paragraph? Does that. It basically enlarges the first letter of the paragraph, I'm sure everyone here has seen it. It's called the drop cap. By the way isaacsol, don't make any box bbcodes, I've got those covered :) I'm planning to make one bbcode which will have many variations and styles.
  2. The Top 10 Posts Per Day module. I should have given them id's so they could be anchored. Yeah, its in the middle column somewhere.
  3. The reason for this is because we've had members in the past decide they want to leave and take everything with them. The most notable case was Grandor, who went through all of his topics removing all the content. He was a big poster so we were left with a fair few topics with a bunch of posts suddenly meaningless and out of context. Same thing applies for the gallery. Although I can see how this looks like the wrong thing to do and we're trying to keep your content on our site, thats not it at all. We will remove any uploaded content to the gallery if asked by the uploader. We're just being safe.
  4. That's interesting. I agree you should be on the list. Though the last person there at the moment is Polraudio with 2. Unfortunately all the numbers on all modules are formatted so we can't decimal places. EDIT: Okay, all fixed. Den you are 8th. Thanks for making this topic, its much more accurate now :) It only counts members who've been here more than a week. Because of course a member who makes 10 posts the day they registered would jump straight to #1 and then over the next couple of days drop off the list. Here's a version with decimals if you're interested: Incongruous-Behavior 6.8666 Kiriashi 4.4900 Siverix 3.2828 RATED-RKOFRANKLIN 3.0548 CrimsonInferno 2.8749 madanchi 2.7768 Ecowolfsteen 2.7280 den13 2.3989 Nisage 2.3287 Polraudio 2.1436
  5. Yeah but since it went away for Franklin when his limit was extended, I'm think that the error only occurs when members reach their limit. To test this, I extended the members limit to 4. So try again, if you can do it, then its confirmed. While I agree this should be fixed, the old undefined method errors are a real pain and I dont know how to fix them. In fact I think each solution differs when they come up. Its one flaw with IPB, it occurs when you change the skin. But hopefully this will be fixed in an upgrade Im planning.
  6. I think he means return the favor? Just rep the members who help you :)
  7. Uhuh, the error is an error. It should say that you have reached your limit. Ok if u really need more than 3, I can increase the limit. But before I do so, make sure you have used your other albums properly and that it is necessary for another.
  8. You can't make another album because you have made 3 already, which is the current limit for members.
  9. Thanks for your post knuckles, you sound rather experienced with sites. I think the main thing we lack is game development activity. Back when I first got into RPG Maker forums on CA, every single person had a project, and most a project topic. There members regularly writing scripts, coming up with innovative eventing systems and spriting. At any rate, soon we will enter the anti-compeitive market of RPG Maker VX :D Speaking of subscribers, which at this point looks highly unlikely as the costs of the site are covered, I came up with an idea. I was just playing around on the website and was thinking of a better way to view the gallery images. So I wrote this thing which basically displays every single image in one of our category galleries. So say you're looking for images but don't want to go through the gallery pages in each category, you can load up this page which displays them all. Its useful however the total size of the images is over 50mb, that will murder our bandwidth.. So I'm think of making this a feature for members with 450+ posts. Or, if we ever get to the stage of subscribers, a subscriber feature. I'm just against the idea of getting money from members. A usergroup with exclusive privileges and permissions is certainly possible.
  10. Interesting, I hope you get enough entrants for this. Do you have any reference pictures for the robots? Or can we do any kind of robot design we like?
  11. I can't confirm that you can use your own sprites, but I'm think there must be a way since they have been posting resources in the enterbrain blog: http://translate.google.co.nz/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://www.famitsu.com/blog/tkool/&ei=0_UjTJuXN8G88gbhkJTPBQ&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CCIQ7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dtkool%2Bblog%26hl%3Den

  15. Welcome to RMXPUnlimited. Hope you enjoy your stay :alright: P.S. Happy Birthday Formlesstree4!
  16. What do you think we should offer to subscribed members? In fact we have 2. One paid $15 to become a life subscriber, and the other I decided to give for free.

    Head Count!

Oh, I wrote a reply but didn't know what to say about myself! I'd rather it not be in real life :( I'm kinda curious about what kind of person I come off as, though I try to act like an admin in my posts. P.S. Happy Birthday Formlesstree4! 誕生日おめでとうございます、formlesstree君
  19. :) I can't believe how many members replied. And plenty of old members who haven't posted in ages. I really appreciate it guys. And pleased with the perception of the community. I hope this is the reputation we have amongst the RM community. I feel like I could write a huge amount about this, but I'll try to keep it brief. :) When RMXPUnlimited was started I was just a teenager playing around on the computer. Well I was 15. I literally didn't know what a forum was a few months before, my own forum being the 2nd i ever joined, so it was just a little project of mine. I never expected it to stay up for 4 years and grow as big as we are. While someone had to start it, it is truly the members of this community that have made it what it is. At this point, I can't see how much longer we'll stay up, though I think we can look at it like this site is still young and yet to mature. This feels so much like a farewell topic. But lets make it a turning point. Thank you everyone for being a part of the community. :alright:
  20. I'm a little embarrassed... I'd just like to clear up that I do not pay hosting the site. Isaacsol offered us hosting after our previous host started failing us, and he we've had excellent up time since. We should thank him for keeping the website up  Kiriashi made the topic in response to me telling him I was feeling a bit demotivated from the lack of use of a few of the components I wrote. I didn't expect him to make such a topic :pinch: Thank you to all who replied, I appreciate all of your comments :) My adminsblock is definitely close to cured ^_^
  21. Welcome to the 1K posts club :)

  22. Hey Valora. Weclome to RMXPUnlimited :alright:
  23. Got it. Not sure yet how to limit the reps, but I'm sure it's not too bad. I'm working on the next release since I've got everything open :) EDIT: You are no able to revoke your reps and there's a limit of 2 per category.
  24. I thought about that, and decided to not give users the ability to remove their rep. If they liked it once, I'm thinking the site must have been good at one stage. And that's what I want to know, so... But yes, I could easily add that feature, I was going to. Limit the reps per category, per user? Or all altogether? At the movement it would not be effective as there are only 2 links per category. But.. if we were to impose a limit of 2 reps per category for each user, I think thats actually a really good idea :)
  25. Apologies for the time between announcements, this time of the year is always a busy one. After doing a lot of reshaping in the menus, I considered where to the place the link directory which we've had for many years now. It just seems to sit there and be no use to anyone. So I thought of how I could improve it and make it more effective. The system is now one similar to a topsites system. Each link in the directory now has a reputation system to measure user satisfaction. And that's the goal, to get a list of the best links possible to make the link directory as effective and useful as possible. Everyone can rep each link just once, even guests. 1 rep per account/IP address. However, it is obviously silly to rep every single link. Please only rep the links you think are the best and most useful, so they rise to the top. And I would also appreciate if members did that now to get things started. :) Users can also add their own links too. If you have a website, feel free to add it as long as it fits into the category. Some rules apply of course. Features: -Click counter per link -Ordered by rep count then date -Members can add there own links -Add/Remove your reps (suggested by Arkbennett) -2 reps per category (suggested by Arkbennett) -guests can rep links Click Here to visit the Link Directory We also have an upgraded news system on the homepage. All of the news items since the beginning of the forum are available to view with 4 news items per page. They are of course just topics from this forum, but its nice and centralized :)
