Hi all, We have just done a little upgrade of the software. There are some cool new features. Most notably is the status updates which are now logged and have comments, the search, and the notifications in the user navigation box. There are tons of other features around the place, check out your settings too. Normally I wouldn't announce something like this and just do it. However the upgrade was pretty bumpy, I've spent quite a bit of time already trying to fix bugs. You probably can't notice but we're using a completely redone skin which I made today. This topic is for bug reporting. Anything out of the usual you can report here so I can get on it to clean up the place and complete the upgrade.

The point of it is a shop. Members have shown they wanted one with 100% of the votes in this poll: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/4383-rmxpu-shop Secondly, its for doing something with the points that members earn. The ability to equip the items and having stats may be pointless, but they're built around the shop which is what the whole thing is about. I wasn't trying to amuse you, Chief ;)

The percent of the deposit is a good idea... but why charge to deposit over a withdrawal?

Well, your school is crap. I'd never do that, though I can understand why some students have to. My highschool wasn't like that.

I've looked into a battle system made in flash using the info this plugs into the database, but its unlikely I will ever be able to code a battle system... I would have to learn Action Script and I'm not that bored.. :) Yup I gave you 50 points. Thanks, I'm glad you like it :) Update: I got my laptop working so I worked on this a little bit. I have changed the class selection screen a little bit so now you have to click a button, and also what happens when you click the button. If anyone wants to see/test you will have to post here so I can remove your current class. I have also fixed the double-submit issue. This means you can click any button such as buy/sell and withdraw/deposit as many times as you like and the form will only submit once. So den's problem where he deposited all his points twice cannot happen. I can't really think of any other bugs... depending on whether it works properly in Opera now.

Yeah, this is my 2nd year out of highschool and it kinda sucks in comparison.. Going to uni you have so much more responsibilities. I enjoyed highschool. Make the most of your stressless life. It gets worse. :)

I think it's pretty easy to fix. Pretty shoddy hook really... It is a 3rd party mod. The issue my laptop charger is giving my problems so I can't fix it till I get it working :( Though I'll reply back when I do.

Sigh... so disappointed in this. Yup its certainly the code. It's very strange however that some functions work in opera while others (class selection) does not. To be honest, I'm not keen on opera. I suppose I'll download it and test it in that browser as well... dont have much of a choice. I thought firefox dominated.. really suprised there are so many opera users here. Oh by the way, remember what page you got that error? Its a query thats not running for some reason.. I'll need to know which page you got that error so I can fix it. Oh, yeah... this may surprise you, but I've done a heck of a lot of testing. With many accounts. I made it offline so when i write the code its ready to test immediately. The only issue here is browers and the double submit error which i was aware of but forgot about. This works perfectly in firefox....... This is a common error called the double submit error. I was aware of it before releasing this but I just forgot about it... I will fix it as soon as I can. I actually broke my laptop charger last night and without my test site I can't really do any proper testing or file edits... If anyone loses any points due to an error, please report to me either in this topic or via PM so I can fix the error and give your points back to you.

It may be illegal if take the html and css and use them on your own site, but hardly. I mean, who hasn't done that :whistle: @Eco: I removed your image because I dont really want members looking at the source code. Even though everyone can, not everyone knows how, and I'd prefer not to publicly display it.

I can't even remember not having this problem. The main solution at the moment is to upgrade it, but in order to do that il have to rskin the entire forum which will take some time. After that if things still don't work, I'll get some help.

Wow Kage, thanks for the effort, really appreciate it. I added that to the first post. I'm surprised so many of you use opera... Selecting a class should work too because it uses pretty standard html.

I think it depends on the game and also the location of the demo. A newish project posted in our projects forum for example, I think can be as short as an intro with a few maps. However a project uploaded to the downloads manager should be longer, 10 minutes minimum.

I mentioned this above. We went with RMXPUnlimited which is an engine-specific domain. RMVXUnlimited is the same, if enterbrain were to release another engine and VX died, then we would end up with the same issue. Although that's unlikely to happen while this forum is alive. Also, an engine-specific name does suggest we're engine specific, which of course, we're not. I can say with almost certainty that our next domain, if any, will not be an engine-specific name. Such as RMUnlimited. With affiliates, we have had a fair few in the past. RRR and rpgmakervx.net seem to have a nice anti-competitive collaboration going where they're making it harder for smaller sites to compete for members. Past affiliates either have died or not honored the affiliation by not having a link to our site. However I haven't been around other sites and suggesting affiliation, which I should do. Some sites do link to ours in useful links sections though. Any suggestions for sites we should affiliate with?
