Its the same in new zealand. But to me the rules make sense. When you think about, teens having sex is harder to stop than teens buying porn. You can restrict what is sold, but you can't restrict the interactions between people. So many people do it before 16. I think its more there for parents to charge males for having sex with their underage daughters (in most cases). I would say that thats the most breach of that particular law. Yeah but thats if you believe in god. I suppose god needs to be involved in this topic as the "sex is bad" thing comes from religion. This probably isn't a good thing to say. But if humans invented the concept of marriage, then technically couldn't religion be (narrowly viewed) as a set of rules? Therefore if it is by a persons lifestyle that sex is bad due to their region, thats that, and we dont need to involve it in the discussion. That makes sense right...

What does EnterBrain need to do to make RPG Maker better?
Marked replied to FranklinX's topic in General Game Development
They had a survey were you could have complained to them for the next maker. I'd paste the link to the survey, but i can't figure out how to copy urls on macs :( I hate macs. Anyway. Enterbrain actually does nearly everything you mentioned. The only problem with the tutorials is that they're in japanese. I posted a link in the resource section to the spriting tutorial they have, which covers a lot. But of course the english can't read them, and i dont think they want their work altered and redistributed. As for resources, they do that too. I uploaded some in the gallery. You can find them at tkool blog, google it. They are really infrequent though. There were 4 or entries for RPG Maker VX resources, but i think that was it. -

Hey. I said in my last post we would not deviate from RPG Maker. Also, i dont care about making money. There is absolutely no way that I could ever make a decent amount of money from ads on a website. I have tested this. Economically, the amount of time i spend making a website that popular is far far worth spending at a job. For example, by my nearly accurate calculations: 2 months of unintrusive ads on rmxpunlimited = 1hr of labor. -

I was thinking of developing a theme similar to this: http://www.webdevrefinery.com/forums/index Maybe. I mean, i like the look of it. Maybe not? Its a nice forum :) As for scripts... and i shouldn't say this.. but I made the scripts archives so members can submit scripts easily and quickly. By going here. Although since this isn't on the forum there really isn't any community interaction, so submitting the scripts would making the forum more popular, but only with leeches who will not post or contribute back here... At a minimum RPG Maker VX. I didn't really mean scrap XP entirely, but to move on from it. I don't think we should move away from the programs we've been about from the beginning, so I think we should stick with RPG Makers (at a minimum). As for other game makers, I'm willing to introduce whatever to the forum as long as its something that will work and be developed. Personally I will not be working with any game makers again, which makes this kind of decision tricky to make as admin. -

:D Oh, remind me to update that. Gona ajax it in the next release :) but thats in 3 weeks after my exams. I checked the other day, 700 cards have been generated (although of course there are double-ups). I'm staying out of this thread for now, the discussion is interesting :) -
Can a game made in RPG Maker be... Successful?
Marked replied to Some1's topic in General Game Development
I think it depends on what your definition of success is. I don't think its possible personally, even though there have been commercial RPG Maker XP games. We've had 3d for long? At least the 80's. Even for the fact that there's so much competition out there, you would have to have at a team, and one of professional quality. I dunno, I think we should assume that the most successful RPG Maker XP game should define the limit. -

Clearly things need to change drastically  In terms of RMXP, it is hard to deny that it is not dieing. Excluding RPGRevolution, look at the fall of some of the largest RMXP forums (CA,.NET/.ORG/HBGames). Ok, so lets scrap XP, or at least phase it out. It's pointless to continue in something where the population of members will only decrease. It's time for change, i think we can agree. What I want to do is change this into a dev forum. I really do think that members should be a result of a good website. -
Whoa, i was just thinking that

I've been really busy over the last few weeks with the semester coming to end and also with a new project which I hope to release as a live website. But don't worry, all the practice will make me better when it comes to rmxpunlimited developments :) Anyway, I stumbled upon a really good and tut (and website, one of many) and I'm going to give you guys the link. This is for people writing their websites in php using a mysql database. Here's the opening paragraph: So this tut introduces the PDO library and shows you how to use it. A general knowledge of SQL is probably required, but the tutorial is pretty simple to follow for nearly everyone. Go to Tutorial Hope this helps. I really agree with the author here after using the mysql_ php functions, they really are obsolete.

Alright fine, which one do you "prefer" ?

I like spring to summer. I sleep in a sleepout (you guys know what that is right?), and in Winter last year, it was SOOOO cold. I had get off my computer because my fingers would be too cold to type. Also, the season right now is Autumn and im not enjoying it right now. I love spring coz its when the cold finally stops, and then its get warm for the last few months of school.

Congratulations Joko. Just so you guys know, there has to be a poll so the MOTM module on the homepage works correctly. It's so awesome that it automatically updates itself. So yeah, the poll needs to be made.

LGBT Material in an All Ages show
Marked replied to EmilyAnnCoons's topic in Debate and Mature Discussion
I disagree with this point. Exposing children to something and showing it as normal will have some persuasion towards it, whatever it may be. The debatable point should be to what degree. I also don't think that sheltering is the reverse. If its on childrens programs it is saying that it is normal and acceptable, the reverse of this is no exposure and learning that its unusual and wrong, as opposed to just sheltering. -
Yeah Satsuriku, both images you posted return 404's. By the way, Kiriashi isn't active at the moment so dont expect a response from him.

Whats the error exactly? I tried it and it works, though seems to not be a permissions error. P.S. Happy Birthday Formlesstree4!

You didnt have to Franklin. Yeah, well we are not taught that sex is a bad thing to do. Obviously from my last post, I heard that in america they teach that sex is bad and try and get youths to stop doing it. Even in some cases telling ridiculous lies to prevent them from doing it. Thats just what I heard, obviously dont know if its true. Here we have sex education where the emphasis is on safe sex, dont get pregnant and screw up ur lives. No scare tactics.

11. You'll die 12. Because exaggerated facts are what we try and teach our kids so they won't have sex Don't think 4 is very appropriate, even for spam.

Its not in damn vain. I would have posted a screenshot of a query i did to get the stats of the video game series category, but im using a messed up keyboard: Total Images: 72 Views: 1614 Average views per image: 22.4167 If everyone had that attitude, there wouldn't be one single post, would there? You're going to missed, i mean you ever won member of the month, but to say your leaving because of inactivity... its stupid and annoying. I wouldn't say that for a normal member who stays for a bit then quietly moves on, probably for the same reason.
