What do you guys think of this battler:

It sounds just like my finance and accounting course I took earlier this year. Our university system is probably completely different to yours, but I'll try to offer some advice... With the equations we had to learn, and Chemistry back in highschool, there were only so many formulas and methods they can make you learn. First of all if there are several methods, stick to the one you like the best. Secondly, repeat the process of working out the answer for each type of question over and over and over until finally you barely need to think about the process. In fact practice them so much you dont even think about the process, you know it and you do it automatically. That's what I did for chemistry(which similar because of the numbers and formulas) and the limited amount of time I studied accounting, in the end they were very easy credits because of the little amount of thinking required when the exam came around.

Yes however, if the government had a maximum income level then it would average out the income distribution. This makes the poor richer and the richer poorer, but it also means there are no more rich people. Is it fair to eliminate rich people to make the poor richer?

Hmm I prefer the second one best, but I like the icons in the first. I'm not sure about the the bevels though. You know what you could use for an icon for the scripts? You know the icon you get from the encrypted data of an rmxp game? I think that looks good. To get it, you can use resource hacker.

In my opinion, there is a shortage in spritesheets/spritesheet artists, so its a bad idea to use them. What type of battlers do you use in your project, or prefer to use?

I think I'll sign up, just for another contestant. This will be the 3rd or 4th time we're in the same mapping contest now. My rmxp has accumulated a bit of dust though, it will be good to open it back up again.

My real name is Mark, and I first used Marked as an msn name just before I created this place. Its Marked as in: you've been Marked, or something. I thought it was humorous at the time. If you remember RMXPUnderground, the admin Constance used to have in his signature "You've been conned", its sortof like that. Since this is my second forum, you can forgive me for not being creative with the username :P As for the avatar, I used to like collecting animations. I managed to download an animation package from a website called animation factory. The pack contained 500,000 animations. This was in the days I wasnt that expereienced with the internet, and had dial up. I think it took me 2 months to download the pack....Anyway, in the pack was my avatar which I've had for all 3 and half years of RMXPUnlimited.

It definitely would bring more traffic through, but it costs a minimum of a dollar a day. It is highly unlikely we will ever spend money on ads, even if we could afford it. You how some big sites request server donations? In most cases, the amount it costs to run a website costs greater than the profits generated from its traffic. Which for us is 0 anyway, because i dislike ads. And also, as you mentioned before, there are a lot of people that come here and dont post. We really have no trouble getting people here, we do have over 7,000 members, its the posting and members coming back which is an issue. If we did buy ads, they traffic would likely act in the same way, right? Oh, and 1.00 USD = 1.37 NZD. Yeah, our dollar isnt great at the moment. Used to the same as the US though...but that was in 70's.

I feel like I need to correct you on this. I am not demanding any members to share and post content, or even urging them(which is what this topic is doing). To put it as simple as possible, I want to change RMXPUnlimited to motivate people to submit their own content. Although this may sound ambiguous to you. And also for our staff/gurus to provide their own interpretation of how to do things in the RPG Makers. I say interpretation because what they write is unique and therefore exclusive to the site. I dont mind if other members urge or push for others to submit content, but there is no pressure from the staff. Lack of content and active members if the fault of the admin, and you may be wondering what I'm doing to fix this. Well, guys know how i can go on to ramble, so i write anymore on it in this topic. I'm just wondering whether to move decisions through the Board of Trustees, or to do it all on my own. Haha, we're approaching 8,000 members. There's obviously a big problem there...

How will the maps be judged? Since sounds, scripts and events are allowed, I'm guessing that judges will be required to play each submission?

Haha, I mean comma. In my defense though, english was my best subject in school :P Well anyway, sentence structure seems the main thing to give feedback on here.

This looks good, rather professional looking. Seems like an appealing intro, though one or two words seem out of place as well as an apostrophe(in the first sentence). I'm not the best reader though, could be just me.

Oh, I'm not sure understand the concept of this. Especially after reading your last post in this topic. I'll try to explain it to you. The purpose of this "frontpage" is to redirect traffic to the homepage of their preference of engine. This frontpage idea has come about from our plans to shift towards RPG Maker VX. This page is only accessible from the url rmxpunlimited.net. Anyone who stumbles upon us from there then has the choice of what section to visit: the RPG Maker XP homepage, the RPG Maker VX homepage, the homepage/portal, or the forums(i wont link this one). I'll draw you a diagram. Get it? More solid? I think I can do that. At the moment I thinking about changing to flash, the cool effects are hard to resist :P but we'll see.

Wasn't aluxes in Postality Knights? I dont think anyone uses that anymore anyway. But yeah, there was illegal version called Postality Knights which was a translation from japanese, so it's text is different from the official english version.

Yep, in signatures are fine. I'm sure about editing/deleting, why don't you test it for me? Glad you like them. I was thinking of making some more advanced ones where you can choose the icon. For example, [bbcode=iconame]text[/bbcode].

I...I'm working on the skin... If you remember the skin before the upgrade, there was a border that went around everything which I am trying to recreate. It's really difficult working on things away from my own computer. I have so many resources on it related to this place.
