What is actually not working? It seems the mods are working fine...

Well you are not on your own. There are active members here. There's not a whole lot that needs to be fixed. I have some suggestions for the RPG Maker XP section if you are interested. I will also be helping out with the traffic. Dont give up hope! I like the members category in the Wiki, I added a little profile of my own. I copied your layout :D EDIT: I just discovered something interesting. When I went to get the link for my avatar, i noticed that the link went to my trap17.com account. That explains why everyones avatars are gone, because I closed down my account. When I moved the forums here, I forgot to change the url for the uploads directory. Although, this is just a theory... To fix the avatars goto AdminCP >> Tools & Settings >> General Configuration >> Upload URL That should solved the problem. I think something similar had happened with your makers. They were linked back to my trap17.com account. Anyway, try that and see if it works.

I am briefly getting involved with forums again for a future project. It only takes a few minutes a day to be active, so i think i can mange visiting now and again. I want to see the staff posting though...

lol no actually. I can do just about anything with the forum still. Same with RMXP Ultimate. But that is just in case they need my help with something. But these guys are pretty experienced. Leon could fix the markers. Dont you get the feeling the staff are inactive?

I've noticed that the forum markers arnt showing up anymore. Is it just me? Im sure I uploaded them to the server... That needs to fixed admin-sir :D I cant edit my topic titles. I meant to say Forum Markers.

:lol: You're saying I have to get active again DD? I thought I staff member actually moved this topic into the spam forum. Its good to see you guys back active again. And dedicated too. I forgot to mention, I broke my RPG Maker XP yesterday. I went to start it up for the first time in months to make something to help Lammora, and it wouldnt start... I'll have to fix that. I wish some of the staff members would come here to post, and discuss this with us. I've checked the forums now and again since I left, and this is the first time i've really had a good look. And there are actually new members posting. And in the RPG Maker section! Thats something the forum struggled with in the past. We need to do our best to help these members so they come back.

My trap17.com account was suspended yesterday, so no more traffic will be coming in from there, or any of the 110mb.com accounts. Can someone tell me why this topic is in the spam forum? This is a serious discussion.

I am surprised to see a topic like this, especially from you Dark Dragon. Activeness has been quite a problem, especially when the active members started to make a forum of their own when things didn't go as they wanted to. Our only Global Moderator hasn't been here since the 5th August. Wyzrd was a great moderator, but been left with the others. Such inactive staff members don't help the situation. I think RMXP Unlimited has been here for a year and 3 months. That seems such a long time! For me epically. But you know what, there are people posting here. If a year and three months cant kill us, nothing will. I think when the active members left, they left it all up to one guy. I was disappointed that the forum was abandoned by them, but with a new admin comes new beginnings and new members. Never give up, and you will succeed every time. Try it and you will see. Even I made topics about advertising when I was here. It didnt help much. The last person to upload something to the gallery was me. What does that tell you? Im sure everyone has something they can contribute. If you want the forum to become active, there needs to be a community effort. This a community, a small one, but a community nonetheless. Theres nothing anyone can say to me to make me think this forum cant succeed and compete with the best. I think so, and always will. That is the attitude this community needs to have. We will succeed. By that i mean become active of course. Everyone can do something.

Leon, I voted for "Hellz Yes! He's awesome! Make him a manager!", it's fully deserved. Now, before you erase every bit of hard work I did, I can tell you that you can have all of your members, topics and posts without having these errors. Erasing these would just be silly, unless your goal is to start again fresh. In the case, it would be a good idea. When you install a new mod, it should replace the data already in the database. If you want this skin also, just download the "bullet" directory, and export the skin .xml file from the AdminCP. I modified the skin a lot. Including images. You dont need to make things harder than they really are. There are ways around everything remember.

Mike, after 50 days you will need to be active on the trap17 forum, with me gone. I suggest you take the offer. This way RMXP Unlimited can become a professional forum, and this will obviously increase activity. I think this could be good for the forum. What it needs. How can I resist? Anyway, I didn't say I was going to disappear did I? Maybe I did, but I just wanted to say this. If you accept the offer, I will give you the files and the database. I will transfer it myself if you like. There are many links you have to change to get it to work though. Wait a minute... How did you go from 13 to 128 in one day? Who ever's been advertising, please, keep it up!

:lol: Nope. I honestly have done all that I can. I am certain of it. Everyone needs time off. You will notice topics on this forum, and others, where members are just announcing they are leaving for a week or so, just to get away from things. In one year, I never took a break(Excluding the two months I wasnt admin and 2 months the forum went down), I know I have spent too much time here. This is a good thing for the forum. Thanks. But you under estimate SCMike(No pressure there Mike). You remember the inspiration topic in RMXP General Discussion? I said that this forum is here because of SCMike and Blazinks. I am 100% happy with everything. Everything that happened to RMXP Unlimited, Mike was there. There's no need to worry about anything. You're on Trap17. Read the rules, and see what you have to do to change passwords. Anyway, I'll take care of all that. Switching hosts is an option that SCMike will have to decide. Remember, a forum can only die if the members let it die. RMXP Unlimited has been going for over a year. We're just too damn strong. I know from experience, its a community effort. This is just another step in the growth of the community. And a positive one. I may come back to visit now and again. But the main point of all this is for me to move on.

Oops. This morning my brother needed to upload the website he was making for some business, so he needed to me to upload it to my host. He was in a hurry, and I gave him the url before I uploaded the website, and I gave the url www.rmxpunlimited.trap17.com/index.html, so that meant I had to delete the php file that redirected to the forum, and upload the website to that url. Made me late for school this morning too. I reuploaded the redirect file, so everything should work as normal.

There shouldn't be anything like that. There is absolutely no difference in the forum, except my inactivity and SCMike been the Admin. So things will be pretty normal. Its not as simple as that, I need to sort things out a bit, and some things i cannot change. Yeah, this is a problem. I am leaving, so will not be able to do this. Although, you can nothing for 50 days, and the forum will be fine. This is a permanent leave. At least that's the plan. I've done everything I can for RMXP Unlimited. And you all knew it was a matter of time before I left. This the most positive thing thats happened to RMXP Unlimited in a long time.

Of course i visited the forums. I did comment on them, and did accept your affiliation request. Make sure your staff are active, everyone follows the rules and are friendly, advertise targeted forums for traffic that will stay, and you should do fine.

I was afraid I was going to have to send out the old staff inactivity PM. Well, this is much worse. I noticed you hadn't visited the forums for over a week. Ryan, I had always considered you one of the best staff members we have had here. You were the most active and helpful in the staff section, which is important in a forum. You have done a great job as staff on this forum, and you will be remembered for your work. I'm sorry you are leaving, and I really hope it's not due to inactivity on the forum. I never considered RMXP Unlimited to be that important, always struggling to get active members. But I am proud that you are able to say that. It's just, you only mean when you first registered, and not anymore. You are always welcome back onto the staff here at RMXP Unlimited. What you have done will not be forgotten. I really do hope to see a welcome back topic one day soon. And just so you know, I haven't been interested in RPG Maker XP for almost a year...
