Pretty interesting that your making an erotic game. I used to play a lot of them in the past (I was a stupid kid back then). and even went far to find a XXX erotic game where you could have sex in the end. Anyway, what type of game engine are you planning to use? I can't fit the pieces if your using RPG MAKER as your game engine. Like to point out that I didn't really understand your game concept. I think I have to see a screenshot of some type. -

My game is going to hit Pre-alpha in a couple of weeks. Anyone want to sign up for game playtester? I currently calculated the In-Development cycle games duration, it's One hour and Twenty minutes. If you're thinking that i will make the game duration for pre-alpha another 20 minutes you are wrong. However there's a bonus in-game. you can consider it as a director cut. you just have to find it in-game. also for those who Playtest Repercussions will be in-game credits. What i want from a playtester is to seek-out bugs, point out grammar errores and most important giving me feedback on the game. -What benefits does a playtester have for Repercussions?- -Exclusive look on the game's original soundtrack. -Exclusive look on the games story (WIP) -Future DLC (Testers will have early access to play it while it's still in-development) -Presented in-game credits. -Team member in the game page. Not really a fan of the series as well. The only ones I really played from start to finish was 6 and 7 long ago, but I don't hold 7 as high as most people. I only played the first 13 and it was bad. The FF integration is primarily why I never got into Kingdom Hearts, either. Too much JRPG ham and cheese in an unironic way.

zahraa. I will like to tell you about the persons who founded BioWare. The founders of BioWare are doctors. They are medics who got interested in gaming industry. They have medical degrees and they can work in hospitals. As always you have the choice to pick your own path. You don't really need feedback or help in making your choice because at the end you will have to choose not matter what the cost If you choose to become a Dentist you still have the possibility of becoming a game developer. In the end it's is your choice, don't limit yourself about not becoming a game developer. I've seen people that have a Degree of their profession and thus are not following the determined path they have to follow. so don't worry about choosing correctly. This is your path and you have full control of it.

I was taking a shower when i started to think about creating this topic. I have been working on the game for many months now. I want to say that Game Dev Unlimited will be the only site to have the game available. I've been working with game developer partner Roody Innocent Aka "Rgangsta" with a game called CyberDrive, in which i assume that many has played it already. Giving out ideas for such a big game is overwhelming sometimes because we have to work on the game's engine limitations sometimes. We've been working on many things with CyberDrive, We've tried to made sure that the game is fluid and bug-free. We're still working with CyberDrive but for now we are on a small hiatus. I'm not giving out any further details of why but i hope everyone understands. I kept myself busy writing shorts stories. Of course that it was a free-time activity. More in the summer. after getting tired of not doing anything creative i went to play some games on the PS3 back and it was June. The month when The Last of Us came out. it's a cliche story with strong character progression. i really liked the characters in The Last of Us since they are really well written. I love the story so much that i started to do stories of Joel and Ellie inside my head. Hell i even imagined myself being in that world. I rarely don't have emotions for character background, emotions in a video game since I've been in more emotional situations. I imagined myself being in the world of Survival action. Then one day i started to write many non-sense which in the end i deleted them. I got desperate and stopped writing because of bad stories. I stopped imagining stories properly and started to lose motivation of writing. One day i decided to replay an old Rpg maker game called the Witch's house, a game by a Japanese developer. I enjoyed everything about the game. It's atmosphere, sound design, graphics, etc. This is where i got my motivation of making a game. This time a horror game. Yeah simple, a simple horror game with classical jump-scares and eerie music. after i finished the witch's house. i jump straight into development of a unnamed game. At first i called it Re-illusions, because i couldn't come up with a better name at the time. the game had no really story and no character design. I Started making a clone of The Witch's House. I didn't realize it until Rgangsta updated CyberDrive (for the last time in 2013) and i decided to play the game again. after playing the first level i seen that the game was way more better and that it was going into to right direction. I asked myself why? I went back to the development of Re-illusions and took a hard look at the game. i realized that i wasn't designing a game where i took my own design choices, I wasn't going in the right direction. so i scrapped many things ot Re-illusions prototype and started brainstorming. First of all i needed to get rid of the horrendous game name. after that i started to write again. Once again something simple. When i started to write the game i read it to myself and edited some parts that seem out of place. after working for some days on the small game script i finally came up with the game tile which is now known as Repercussions. Boy i was the title name a good one. and it fits with my game story. REPERCUSSIONS: an unintended consequence occurring some time after an event or action, esp. an unwelcome one. after that i directly wrote the games ending. it fitted well once again with the game title. i showed it to some game development friends and boy they were harsh with me about the games script but overall it was a good script. I once again began game development and started brainstorming once again. The game development was going fantastic. I started to Google new tilesets, scripts, and graphics. there's one exception for music. Me and a real life friend started to talk about video games and i told him that i was developing a game and if he could do some tracks for me. And he was surprised that i was developing a horror game and agreed to do music for the game. This got me all motivational. However that motivation went away since my family had a huge problem. In 2013 My Mom and Dad were expecting a baby for March. However the baby never made it. a stillborn baby. This sadden me and made me stop doing the game for a while until i decided to make him real. How? My game! Repercussions. However i needed to change the script again so i took the risk and re-wrote the script once again. The Plot currently goes like this. Daemon along with his twin sister Sedna have been abandoned by their parents Fifteen years ago. They were abandoned on the roadside a young woman named Minnie sees the baby twins and takes them to her orphanage. Fifteen years later they spend their lives in the orphanage. receiving education and shelter. however they have never been the main interest for adoption. However Daemon is the only one who has been offered by many couples to be their adopted boy. but decline because Sedna was never a interest for the couple. Daemon made a promise that he will be there for Sedna, as she is the only true family member hes got. One day Sedna is visited by a spiritual being and is induced to a coma. unfortunately there was no witness, except for one. which is Daemon Daemon has been with Sedna for a couple of days until Daemon sees the spiritual being once again. Daemon follows the being into the woods finding a weird artifact in where he is teleported to a place called the wasteland. a place for evil beings and lamenting souls. This is a short synopsis of the plot. many can consider that this is a damsel in distress story. but it's not. i have many plans with the story giving it ideas. i consider the story cliche. but not dull. for a horror game i decided to risk myself and recreate the horror formula. making it a Story-driven Horror game. however i will still use the main roots of the the horror genre such as. jumpscares, sound design, puzzles. and also make it a open world horror game. however this will be limited and i will not let you wonder the whole wasteland by start. the map will not be as huge as expected. i decided to make the horror game a wee bit like zelda and it's dungeons. Why the dungeons? you'll find out later but they have importance to the story. these dungeons feature many stuff such as puzzles and traps. so be careful on what your doing. for the first time i am feeling satisfied with the game. taking appropriate design choices and not letting myself in getting limited. I like candy crush saga and have played it. It's really stupid that King wants to do this to game developers (Indie as well) It's really sad that developers these days only wants more profit. I believe that game developers has seen us as consumer cows. it's really sad to see that these so called microtransactions is just ruining the good name of gaming. Also many AAA games like Battlefield 4, Call of Duty and other rushed projects are being rushed in development so it can be on the market in time for the holidays. Games are a representation of art and you can't rush art. I'm getting tired buying buggy games with developers promising to fix it later. Sure games have bugs in the code, all games of course. But patching something that should of been fixed is getting annoying. Probably many think that i should wait peoples reactions of the game before buying the actual product. however i feel that people are only covering the positive side of games and later i find something that annoys me a whole lot. anyhow back on topic as always. King.com are A-holes because they want to frick up the original developer of the original candy bejeweled series. (CandySwipe) Seriously i hate that many developers are re-using ideas instead of producing new ideas and maybe those new ideas can be a game changing experience. I cannot say that copying ideas is bad, in a way it's a good thing to have re-used ideas because developers can re-invent the formula and make other developers do so. but no many prefer to re-used without any new ideas to it. that's all i can say for now.
