That wouldn't be hard, you just run a "Control Variable" and set it random with X~Y as your numbers (replacing X and Y with the numbers of course). Then, you run a conditional branch that's set to "when [variable] is equal to x" and run one of those for each option, then under each you give the player whichever item (i.e. "when [variable] is equal to 3, give Lance"

Ok, so, I've been thinking about it for a while, working with RMXP some, and I've come to an idea. I've always wanted to make a Zelda story/comic/game that revolves around Zelda herself as the heroine instead of Link. Problem is, I have no story idea for it. So, here's where you guys can help me out: I need a scripter who can design Zelda-style systems (battle system, menu, etc) I need someone I can brainstorm with on a GOOD story...if it looks like it's gonna end up being a CD-I like idea, I'll scrap the idea in a heartbeat I need someone who can make or edit sprites to fit the system (i.e. Zelda will probably NOT be dressed as a Princess for the game, she will probably carry a sword and have to have a sword wielding sprite, I'll need bosses, monsters, etc.) Lastly, if my spriter can't make them, I'll need someone to make me a Title Screen and Game Over screen that will fit with the game So...yeah...that's about all I got lol Anyone got any ideas? (On a side note, I'd like it to fit into my Zelda timeline somehow, though it's not required. It can be found here: )

I like your effect better, I'll do that lol EDIT: Done This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect: - Once per turn, you can add the top card of your deck to the graveyard. If you activate this effect, send one card your opponent controls to the graveyard. -

-nods- I actually went there after my post was over. I'm just trying to think of an effect now ^^" EDIT: I hope this is good...I couldn't think of anything better... - Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Final Fantasy" monster from your hand or from either player's Graveyard. When this card is removed from the field, destroy all "Final Fantasy" monsters Special Summoned by this effect. -

Sure, I should be able to do that, but I gotta look up a bit of info on gemini cards first (I only own one, so I'm not sure what they do) ^^ And, I wasn't trying to be mean ^^" I just got confused was all. -

@Hebi: True, there are some cards that have nasty effects but are low levels, but even so, most cards effects are determined by their level. In either case, if I feel the member deserves a good effect, but has few posts, they will also get an effect that is good, but the card will be low level. @Obsession: Should be able to. EDIT: Done -
I'd do this set for Magic if I knew it better...I know very little about it, though...I know a lot about Yu-Gi-Oh though

Reserved for cards 61-90 (I actually anticipate I'll need this one)

As you can tell, I'm only good for making Yu-Gi-Oh cards and writing stories :P I'm not good for much else on this forum. In either case, I'm scrapping my idea for making Yu-Gi-Oh sets for every Zelda game and I'm going with a new idea. One set for each side of the "battle". One side is the Forces of Light, featuring Link, Zelda, and all the other good guys in the games. The other side is the Forces of Darkness, featuring Ganondorf, Twinrova, and all other manner of boss, mini-boss, and random monster I can get a good image for. So, I'll start this off with the Forces of Darkness, check out the Forces of Light topic if you want to see the good guys. Also, feel free to comment :P Cards 1-30

Wow, that gave me a new idea about using adds and subs on character sets o.o That's really cool actually

hehe, you'll be happy with each birthday until you hit around 21 :P After that, it's like "Wait...I'm how old?" lol Everyone gets excited until they hit 21 and can drink legally...after that, each year just makes you feel older and sometimes people are like "I don't even want to think about how old I am." lol In either case, though, Happy Birthday.

Nice, now I just need to put them into tilesets and character sets lol The other thing is whether they are the right size...I can't rip sprites off of ALttP cause they're the wrong size, so I'm worried these might be too. If they are, I'll have to do something else...probably use Minish Cap graphics, as they're the right size, then find someone to brown Link's hair. Dunno yet.
-
Thanks, those tilesets helped a lot Leon ^^ I hadn't found anything over Google, guess I should remember to try Yahoo sometimes too (I never find anything on Yahoo). It still doesn't help with some things, though. I still need character graphics.
-
Cause I haven't managed to find any graphics from Zelda 3, and I can rip the graphics off of Minish Cap pretty easily ^^" Of course, if someone can find Zelda 3 graphics, I'd take them and use them (and maybe someone could just recolor Link's hair brown?)
-
I think it's a good idea, but I think it should be done when we have more original content then what we have now. Of course, removing what we have now could cause the "Oh crap, we have so little, everyone make stuff" thing, in which we would (hopefully) get some content from the other users. So, really, I can't say one way or the other ^^"
-
@Leon: I could make an exact remake, which would be the original with updated graphics, but that would be an "update" not a remake :P Also, I'm currently using the Minish Cap graphics, which are blonde. If someone wants to take them and turn them into character sets and make them have brown hair instead, you may feel free to. Unless someone can just make all the character sets themselves. @Kiriashi: I basically just said it to Leon :P If you can recolor, that would help...I suck at recoloring...but otherwise, it's all Minish Cap graphics so far. @Tomo2000: I have uploaded v3 here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IA4EJZAH
