Well, I have to go back to the fact that there are kids books (designed for 3-6 year olds) that are LGBT books...There's a kid's book called "Sally has two mommies" or something like that. It's a book about a girl who has two moms and it was written for kids. Here's the question I really want to pose: Everyone says "Do you know what it will do to the kids?" but what WILL it do to them? Why is it okay for All Ages shows to show straight relationships and not gay relationships? In Aladdin, Aladdin and Jasmine were in love, and they are seen kissing and such in several episodes. Why not also allow gay material if they allow straight material? Allowing straight material and not gay material tells our kids that it is okay to be straight, but also (partially) tells them it's wrong to be gay. However, if they were exposed to it all, then the kids could grow up nothing both were okay, and as such, they would be more open minded. Now, there's exactly the thing. No one wants our kids to be open minded. Everyone wants our kids to have the same belief as us. If we don't like gays or gay material, we don't want our kids to believe being gay or watching gay material is right. As such, we'll shelter them, we'll hide the world from them. Then, when suddenly the child becomes a teenager and is exposed to the material, they don't know what to do. Now they've reached the point where they don't want to turn to their parents for guidance because they are trying to discover their own path in life, but also don't know what is going on. As such, they turn around and get all of the wrong information from the wrong people. In the end, it confuses our children and makes them less likely to follow the path we've tried to raise them towards (I am speaking from experience on this, by the way). No, I firmly believe that the world needs to buckle down and let things go. Why is porn restricted to 18+ people? We all know that 90% of teenagers 13 and up have at least seen the opposite sex naked, and have probably had sex with them. People are too closed minded and too stupid, though. I think we need to open things up, let our kids be exposed to things at a young age. In turn, we can then teach them about those things. The Bible (yes, I'm using a religious thing for this) says "Train up your children in the way they should go and they will not depart from it." To train up your children, you have to expose them to things AS children. To teach and to train are different things. To train is to actually take a person under your wing and work with them on things. To teach is just to tell them whatever is whatever "just because" and then hope they accept that. If we're going to train our children, we have to expose them to things and show them the truth. As such, I think children deserve the right to be exposed to LGBT material. In that case, they can then be trained up properly and be able to then make the right decisions. In turn, they will lead more successful and productive lives.

So, I've been thinking about this, and I wanted to see what people's thoughts were as well. Should openly LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual for those who don't know) material be allowed in an "All Ages" show/comic/whatever? Examples of all ages shows are: Disney's Aladdin, Pokemon, Digimon, Little Mermaid, and other similar shows. I think that America should cut down on the censoring and such of everything and allow such material to be shown in All Ages shows and such. People are beginning to release kids books that actually talk about being gay and such and no one is making them stop, so why not allowing it in other things? And I mean openly LGBT stuff, not closet stuff like Spongebob >>

The winner of the contest gets their map in my game. I have a city that is in my game at the time that doesn't lead to anything, but the entrance to the city is at the bottom. As such, the entrance to this city also needs to have the entrance at the bottom.

Because, the map that this will be used for has the entrance at the bottom, so the entrance to the city must therefore be at the bottom.

hehe, nice. It could still be the same script. A lot of the Pokemon scripts were designed by other people and just added to the project cause they worked and it made it easier then designing them 100% themselves -nods-

I got mine off of a Pokemon Starter Kit now that I think about it lol That's all I can tell you about whether yours will be the same as mine.

hehe, thanks. It's a special script I found. I can make people have reflections in the water with it. I haven't had much use for it, as there hasn't been any spots where I can use it with water, but I always imagined the floor of the magic shop being a reflective surface, so I did that lol

As a side note, I have extended the map deadline to April 1. However, March 5 still remains as the deadline for entering the contest. So, if any last minute entries want in, you better join now.

I would, but it would mean uploading an entire project...the passibilities for the added stuff are the same as the passabilities for those things in other RTP tilesets. Everything else is the same as the original Post Town tileset.

kk, I replaced the photobucket one with the imageshack one. It looks like photobucket resized it just slightly.

it doesn't seem blurry to me...I don't know...if it's blurry, then so is the tileset itself on my computer...in which case, I have no clue what to do...It does have transparencies for some reason, but otherwise, I dunno...

That's a good point. Here's how it'll work, then. I've got a tileset I use for Post Town. It's the Post Town tileset, but it also includes some minor additions (walls for making a wall around the town). I'll upload it, and that will be the outside tileset. For the inside, you're allowed to use RTP only tilesets, and your only allowed to use something other then Port Town In if the building is special (i.e. an arena, a temple, shops, etc.) For normal buildings (i.e. inns, homes, etc) you must use Port Town In.

Yeah...another topic. The last one had a weird code box glitch I couldn't fix, so I started a new topic (plus, now I'm not bumping a 7+ month old topic with an updated demo). Storyline In the world of Versumi, a dark shadow has begun to pass over Jinosa. However, it has so far gone unnoticed. Emily Ann Jansson, a young girl of about 19, is called to Shilan by the Supreme Thief. When she arrives, she is given a mission. She must choose to take the mission, or be sentenced to "Death by Blood", a horrid death sentence that uses the forbidden art of Blood Magic to put the one sentenced into agonizing pain for three years that renders the body unable to die, but unable to move, until finally the sentence is finished, leaving one near death, in which hunger and thirst catch up with the person and finally kills them. Emily leaves on the mission, which is to make his way to Darminia, Home of the Neko, and there she must find and kill the Princess, Valerie Olivia Seaborn.
