Awesome =D There is a glitch in the demo. Go into the Audio/BGM folder and find "OoT - Temple of Time" and rename it to "OoT - Temple of Time ZREO"

hehe, it's ok :P As for Hyrule Field, I don't really care, just make it a big field that has some exits for the Desert, Lake Hylia, Kakariko Village, and Lost Woods. This game isn't supposed to occur anytime around OoT, so you're free to work with whatever you want really. As for the Lost Woods...hmm...I kinda was thinking of just making a big map that's a maze, but I'll leave that up to you on how you want to do it. Whatever is easiest ^^ EDIT: That would be cool =D I really have no idea how to make towns XD

Well, I don't think I have any of the RMVX graphics anymore lol I don't really remember, though. Also, that script would make current saves for Demo 1.2 incompatible with the newer version...I might still use it, though. As for mapping, I answered that in my last post. It's the last part lol

Ahh, yeah...oops...Ok, to fix the glitch you're having, you'll need to go in and restart your game but skip the tutorial. Doing that will skip you to Hyrule, which will change variable 6 from 0 to "Rupees". I'll fix that glitch, though as well. I know the King of Hyrule's name lol I just liked "Hyrule King" as it references back to the old Zelda games in Japan whose only named for him was "Hyrule King". I am aware the music doesn't loop very smoothly, I tried a new format and am still getting the hang of it...unfortunately, I can't 100% make it loop perfectly, but I can make it loop semi-smoothly. I don't think they are tower things...but I'm not sure...I know how to fix it, though, so they are, so I will. Suicide Drink is supposed to be unfair :P I got the idea from Quest for Glory 1 where one of the first things you do is step into the bar and you're given a choice of 3 drinks: Ale, Troll Sweat, and Dragon's Breath. The third one killed you XD So, yeah, it's supposed to do that :P I don't think you can make the parallex move...that's something they removed from RPG Maker when they made XP. You can make fogs move, but not parallexes Sure! You can help with mapping! =D Could you start by making a Lost Woods and/or Hyrule Field? Gonna need those soon.

I have updated with Demo version 1.2. This new demo includes update music, a smaller file size, and fixes to many glitches. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the glitch fixes, demo v1.1 saves are not compatible with it. Sorry about that.

I hate bumping threads, especially this early, but if I don't, no one will know that I updated the demo >> I have added the rest of dungeon 1 into the demo, so the game plays all the way up to the real first boss. Some changes have been made from the demo version as well in the way of music, the way some things play out, and other such things, so please check it out =D (Demo v1 saves should be compatible with Demo v1.1 saves)

So, I'm attempting to make a Zelda fan game. Prologue It's been a year since the awakening of Princess Zelda. Hyrule has had troubled times while the Order of Wizrobes continues to attempt to capture Link for their dark ritual of resurrecting their master, the Evil Wizard Ganon. Times have grown desperate, and it seems the Order has no choice. Their army collects together in one location in a hope to launch one final assault on the castle and take Link. However, Zelda, now Queen of Hyrule, has forseen this. She sends Link deep into the Underworld to stop them before they can create an unstoppable army. However, things are not as they seem. Shadow Link appears and tries to destroy Link once and for all. However, at the last moment, Link vanishes and Shadow Link swears he will search for Link. Chapter 1 Link appears deep within Limbo, the Realm Between Dimensions. There a small sprite named Lucia explains that an evil force is trying to conquer all worlds. It is up to Link to stop this evil force, but he cannot do it alone. Link and Lucia head off to the Mushroom Kingdom to seek the aid of Mario. However, when they arrive in the array, they find one of the commanders of the evil force guarding the way to the Mushroom Kingdom. Link and Lucia battle hard and eventually secure a way on. Hmm...if I could make a platformer, these would help...I haven't managed to find anything I can use for RPG Maker that is Mario that I can also use for an RPG. Honestly, the Mario Superstars stuff would work if I could resize it properly, but it's either too small or too big...I'm not really sure what to do about that...I'd love to use the Super Mario RPG stuff (the stuff for the SNES) but it's also either too big or too small...I'm not really sure what to do to make this work...

Well, I tried TSR, and the third link isn't working. I'll check the .rar file link and see, but I doubt I can use it. The problem is that I can't convert the TSR sprites to fit into RMXP format. I can put them in and everything, but they are either too small (like, seriously half the size of a normal RMXP sprite) or they are too big (if I resize them, I get sprites that are almost one and a half RMXP sprite size). I can't resize them a little bit either, otherwise they look resized and look all funky. So I can't do the TSR thing.

So, I've tried editing all of the sprites I can find for Mario and Luigi, but none of them fit into RPG Maker's standard RTP style graphics size. So, I wanted to see if anyone could make them. Obviously, I'm referring to Mario and Luigi from the Super Mario games...that should be pretty obvious ^^" And...now that I think about it...I think I only need Mario lol I also need some other RTP style sprites, too, but I figure I'll wait and see if I can get these before I request more, cause I know I won't get very far otherwise as they are needed for the first level lol

This website is awesome, and it's all thanks to Marked =D I know I haven't been the most active...in fact, I've pretty much vanished off the face of the planet with this forum, but that's also because I haven't done much at all with RMXP in like...forever... lol So, yeah...definitely a thanks to Marked.
