  1. WOW Jon Bon! Thats sound really fun! I think it would be neat if there were monsters or something called glitches too!!! LOL! I wish i could partisapate in the development of this game, but i would'nt be able to keep up....and, well, im not a staff member anyway. I hope you get the time to finish it!!! I Cant wait to play it!!! Oh, and what sort of graphics do you need? Like are you gonna use, RTP of "what RM". Or are you going to make all your resorces from scratch. Just curious. Probably XP right?

  4. >.> ......im ashamed to say, i actually had a hard time beating FF MQ when i first played it (i was so cheezed off when my sister beat it ahead of me, and shes terible at rpg's!!!!).... But that was the very first RPG i played, and got me into the rest of the FF universe. :-)
  5. Welcome!!!! Im still a real newb here too! Im more intrested in the mapping as well, but im also really good at comming up with plot lines! I cant sprite worth anything either, but im pretty dang good at frankenstineing and editing if i do say so myself. :) These guys really help me out alot, cuz of them i know more about rm vx ace than i do now! :) So welcome!

  7. 1. A thousand pardons, i promise in the future i wont post in the wrong place again. 2. Thanks to you both, your exsplainations helped me understand these processes better. But, do they continue to process throughout the game, or can you stop them? Would you use these for cut seens? Could you maybe give me an example of how you would use one?

      yea i'm fine with the original OoT on my N64, but i still want a 3DS, mostly for Kingdom Hearts 3D, but i'm sure i'll find more games (and i MIGHT by OoT 3D)

  10. LOL, i thought about that too makes enough sence. It probably was just because of the mod i had. Its just weird though, cuz i could have sworn i forced an update before starting a game....and there he was. LOL. But anyway, that was like a month ago....so....yeah. :)
  11. ok, its says exactly : Script 'Fog' Line 4: SyntaxError occurred Unexspected tINTEGER also, this is from a "dummy" game i made, not from the actual game im wanting to use it on. I didint want to screw up anything i couldent fix, so i thought i test it out first. Anyway, im going to go and see if i can make those configuration changes....which i didint do initially. Thanks.

  13. Oh yeah, sorry, i should have said that. The script im trying to install is ACE PERFECT FOG, i just took my first stab at it and i got my first error.... its got instructions but im haveing trouble understanding them.... gosh, this is not my favorite part of my hobby. But anyway, yeah if you dont mind id appreciate a tut.

    Ok, i havent looked into scripts very much, thats becuase im still learning, and numbers and complicated formulas scare the heck out of me :-D ..... but im at a point in my game development that i realized it might be a good idea..... Ive been looking at scripts, a few have to do with side veiw battle systems and what not.....but im haveing trouble with where and how do you actually install the script? I think ill look for a tut on scripting next... >.>

  16. If you dont mind me asking, why would link never getting the kokiri Sword be important?....i mean isint the master sword what beats gannon in the first place? Couldent he just find another sword to swing around thats just as good as the kokiri sword till he gets the master sword?....actually, i believe the deku stick is a little more powerful (if obviously less durable) than the kokiri sword. I hope i havent offended you, i think your game s comming along great, i was just wondering about this if you care to clearify. Im a bit of a stickler where it comes to story telling.
  17. cool!....but....i cant find the telaportation room :-< ........ Meanwhile, is this suposed to be a Zelda, OOT remake? Its spot on mapwise so far . cant wait till its finished. But, is saria suposed to transform into a maid after she teaches you her song?.....or is that unintended?

(tell me if you think this is possible) I think maybe majong could be "saying" they didint program herobrine into the game, but they actually did, and telling everyone they didint to create publicity, every time someone runs into him.....or something like that. Nothing supernatural of course. They just made it to where herobrine would spawn randomly under sertain conditions. What do yall think about this theory?

  20. Well, i think ive got it working satisfactory now....could be better, but at least i can move on with it. Only took one event too, as opposed to the three events i was useing to make it work.... :/
  21. ok, cool. Basically what im wanting is, when the player fist hits new game, the screen is comepleatly black and all you hear is "first" a crashing noise, then a falling noise, and then a noise like sombody hitting tyhe ground. I might put some text in there somewhere, but havent desided what that would be quite yet. then after all that, the screen fades in and your character is laying facedown on the floor of the first map, then some text, now the character can move around......this is more or less what im looking to do. Hope this is less confuseing.
  22. Awww....that sucks. Thanks anyway. @ Dragon324: Also, ive tried what you told me already....im still trying to see if i can make it work somehow...but no luck. But i do have a new question concerning this. Can you make an even where a switch activates on another map....? Or does a switch have to activate on the same map. Like, lets say if i have an event on "map 1" that moves my character into a transporter event, where a switch is set up to activate when the character is transported to the next map.....is that confuseing?.... :/

  24. Does anybody know how to make the screen tinted dark "before" the game starts? Or make the screen fade in slowly when the game first starts? I cant figgure it out, and im getting really frustrainted. Ive tried useing "Wait X# of fraims" but i dont think that works with what im trying to do. Thanks.
