Hey, It's great that you are reaching out to help, this is exactly what the community was designed for. So, I can help you with the Day/Night cycle as I have used it before. Send me a message on steam when you can. (you should be in the community right? you will see my name in there, most likely offline XD). Also with completely changing the battle scenario, do you mean changing it to something like Blizz ABS. which is a real time battling system rather than turn based one. Wish you luck in your endeavors in game design, we are here to help.

Not to be rude, you have been posting a LOT about getting team member to join you or get people to do things for you, and since you are new many people wouldn't have the intention to help out at a whims notice, yes there are people that can do spiriting "well" and there are many people here who can script however without out you helping the community first its unlikely you will receive something in return for nothing. When i first arrived here i expected a lot, people that can do things for you, however what i learnt (and was told) was to tackle things on your own, learn how to script, learn how to sprite, and I assure you the community will help you with learning, as it is much more rewarding to teach rather than do something for someone. Also by learning something it becomes something that you can use over and over again later in life. There are many tutorials here in the tutorials section if you would like to learn, if you cant find what you are after there you can always delve into the internet. So as a recap, yes we would help you as a community however we will not likely DO things for you. Many of us are busy with our own games, therefore unable to help in your desires, so my advice to you is to spend the time waiting for reply's (or for something to be done for you) learning how to do said things, GDU as a community will help you achieve your goals, however we will not achieve them for you. HEY, Sorry for not posting in a hella long time, Exam week was crazy, at least its over now. YaY. Alright, so lately lots of things have been going on (work, family, crazy stuff!), drawing every single day is still going on, just images that i can upload are out for the moment, these drawings are less learning more produce so they are not fit for the learning journal. so rest in peace knowing that i have not given up! Ah yea, I did make it, and i received it yesterday! looks really nice on the phone after all. Again sorry for no updates, but i have not given up.

Wew 55 days, we made it over half a century (in numbers not years :P). I haven't been drawing as much as i would like to this week, mainly because i have been away from home and deprived from my wonderful drawing tablet D:. This next week is the last week of schooling before the exam week. So a lot time has to be spent on handing in assignments... I will try my hardest to draw every day. Hopefully i will get the image that im working on currently finished by the end of the week, I am beginning to like it a lot and i hope you guys like it too. (new avatar incoming). YUS! this is why the community loves you, great advice at the right time. That is exactly what i need to do, a full character. ( I have an idea on what to draw now i just have to keep it in mind until i get home.). As for tutorials, Yea there are heaps, that i what i used when drawing the first few drawings 1- 12~ or so. and i still use them today, they are great! but what i would really like if there was a course that kinda forced me to learn certain things over time, such as composition, anatomy and lighting ect. I'm more of a person that would look up specific tutorials at certain points in the drawing, say if im doing the face i would look up something that told me fundamentals on face composure, I would really like to break this "cycle" by learning all of it over a few weeks or so, then i wouldn't have to look up tutorials all the time. Since i can't find any good manga art courses I'll stick to what you said and continue using the small tutorials online.

Thanks again for the support, sorry for kinda giving up on the concept art type of painting, it was a small phase i was going though and now that i think about it I need much more knowledge on basic things such as values and lighting before i tackle things like that. I guess I might revive the character from it tho, somewhere in the future. HA Line cleaning pfft! I can't do that well in photoshop. Day 48 D: nearly 50 days, I don't have anything special planned for that day so sorry, have any suggestions for it be sure to share your thoughts. (Just like omar here :D) Ugh I still need to do a speed art of something, something that isn't experimental. Im also looking for art courses so i can learn a bit more of the theory behind art and stuff like that. cus im lacking in that skill.

skyrim compared to the previous games was a masterpiece. creating a game that was that huge and expansive, let alone the graphics it had, would have taken literally years to craft. The story missions may just be bugged due to your version. developing for every single computer in the world is quite hard. btw what console are you playing it on, if it is for Xbox or something like that, usually console ports are just ports that are dummed down in graphics and resources to fit on a disk. ok im ranting now. Yes Skyrim has problems, so do many games. and this is due to the timeframe they were given to develop the game. I personally have played the game seldomly but i do not own it (friends) so i do not know the full extent of its buggyness. however i own oblivion and i know how much of a step forward bethesta took with skyrim. From my knowledge there has been one major bug that breaks the game by not allowing you to become human again after becoming a vampire, which stops you from advancing but this is not common if your playing normally. I like Skyrim, mainly because i would never be able to make it myself XD.' P.S i think climbing is just thrown out the window because it makes it easier to guide the player around without them trying to climb hills and houses. The game was not created for parkor.

well, this actually happened (much smaller way) to me. I see the cake metaphor like so, you are presented with a cake, you decorate that cake, however sometimes you will never be able to taste that cake even though you poured you heart out in effort to make that cake a better thing. There are always more opportunity's so sometimes it just better to let it slide, who knows what will happen in the future.

did you look at the bundle? its not just ruby by itself. its got bootstrap 3, Html 5, Css 3 and JavaScript in that bundle also has a tad of python and eCommerce. hence why i said "or just learn ruby on rails" because rgss is close to ruby.
