Blackbound replied to Tosharu's topic in Computers, Internet and Tech Talk
not without learning the GUI conversions, but if you can work a GUI in C++ it would help immensely -

Basic Extended Compilers for the win?
Blackbound replied to Tosharu's topic in Computers, Internet and Tech Talk
You might want to look at VisualBasic.NET then ;) most of the other languages like C++ and Java originated at the command line, where there was no method of placing an image in a program. Even in modern days you have to use something that has a GUI to load an image easily myImage.image = "data/pic/myimage.png" 'Thats how easily its done in Visual Basic.... almost -
nowhere near the same as the project style RMVXP is using: it does not use any existing editor sequences and on top of that; we will be transitioning this to a 100% pure VB.net project (Formlesstree found an engine written in .NET and we managed to get it to run with VisualBasic :D ), and another note, this will be able to manage up to 256 layers:) This also doesnt even touch the RMVX/RMXP datafiles, and it comes in its own little box Editor Files for RMVXP: (insertnamehere).vxpdata <header containing a 4 letter keyword IE: PCHR is character Data, followed by a 5 character number (up to 99,999 of any given items in the database)> item 1-header (5 digit number of course ;) ect...

Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opara?
Blackbound replied to Gary The Duck's topic in Computers, Internet and Tech Talk
there is a version of chrome that doesnt send crap to google called SRWare Iron. Iron you can see what Chief is talking about here -
Novice is actually a good replacement for the word noob. I think more people would read a topic titled "Novice at RPGmaker XP, can someone help me please?" than "Noob@rmxp.need help now"
-
If I am new at something, I do call myself "Noob" or "Novice" sometimes. I use it in its context, without really insulting myself. I have no problems when its used correctly. Its when its not used correctly that its annoying for me.

Blackbound replied to Blackbound's topic in Computers, Internet and Tech Talk

RG, that sig you made for me is AWESOME =3
-
KAKASHI errr KIRIASHI! yays your back... now get on msn so I can tell you about some updates =3
-
I dissagree with you Wyz. I actually see a variety of techniques used. I can even tell that he might have used more than one image program. I am pretty sure a couple of the sigs look similar but its not that repetitive. As for Sig requests: I want something similar to this mixed with with purple for the color.

Whats your preferred Operating System Platform?
