I believe it is free to use without permission. I've seen other people use it and I also posted this game back in v4 on the Quintessence forum and even got a reply from Reives (Kan Gao, the creator) and he didn't say anything against it. You may even go to the forum and take a look for yourself, if you wish, or I could post a link.

For my game, Grounded - The Sequel to Hope Afloat, I have made quite a lot of weapons. Below, I have blurred them out and you have to guess what they are. There is also a list of weapons names. The weapons are in categores; Rifle, Other, Machine Guns, Pistols, Explosives, Shotguns and Melee. If you guess correctly what all the weapons in a category you get a code for which will allow you access to a secret testing room in the game for that category. If you guess them all correctly, you get access to a secret testing room with all the weapons in it, and you will also get to come up with a design for your own weapon to be added to the game. I tried to stand up but my legs collapsed and I rolled down the hill and onto the road. There where no cars to be afraid of, but there where zombies. I drew my nailgun and was ready to pick off any zombies that came too close. "Hello!?" I screamed, hoping somebody would hear me, "Can somebody help me!!". The nearby zombies turned and walked towards me and I started shooting at them.

I've done quite a lot of research on this topic and Polraudio is correct. The planets line up in such a manner that the Earth temporarily looses sunlight. Nobody knows how long but it will be for less then a day because all the planets keep moving. They don't stop just to screw us up; they have to keep moving. Anyway, it takes 8 seconds for the sunlight to reach earth from the sun, that means when the planets line up we still get 8 seconds of sunlight. The Earth will still be heated, however. Its like a heater that you unplug; it would take quite a while for it to cool down to a freezing rate. Around 3 and a half weeks, I believe. And 22nd December, 2012 isn't the end of the Mayian Callender; it is the end of the 'Great Cycle'. Everybody straight away assumed that this was the end of all the humans on Earth. Anyway, they celebrate this day (and the ones before it) because they believed that it was their gods that blocked out the sunlight temporarily. The end of the 'Great Cycle' is when the sunlight gets blocked off. Nothing to fear about.
