Sorry about that guys :/ I had to actually email them so they would manually clear my payment. Whats up with that? They should do this automatically, not happy with the service... However, the person who manually approved my renewal actually renewed it until feb 2014. 2 years for the price of one. Boom.

But won't it take like a day+ to transfer the domain? If this domain goes down, I guess I could open the GDU forums for a day (since both domains connect to the same database)

Ok, this isn't my fault... The domain name expires on wednesday and I just made the payment (monday evening) and apparently my paypal account is unverified (which is incorrect) so for some reason my payment is pending. Last time this happened with gdunlimited.net it took about 2 weeks but I think that was the registrars fault.. I'll be emailing them to make ensure no mistakes are made and fingers crossed my payment clears before the domain expires.

I think they used to ban users for asking for support for the PKE version of RMXP on RMXP.ORG, I think that's pretty stupid. Not to support pirating it, but, some people couldnt actually buy and enlish copy and when it came out people preferred the old interface, despite its flaws.

Well, postaility knights was all that was around back in the days when enterbrain hadn't released an english version. I even preferred it to the official english version when it came out, but like the others said, its inferior. There's also this super annoying font error you get with scripts if you try and play a game made in postaility knights when you have the official english version installed.

Ahh, somehow the default wasn't set to default. I beleive this is fixed now?

Oops! It's as Pol said. I'm preparing to unlock certain parts of GDU soon so I need members to login. In order to do that though, they need to change their theme to GDU, which is pulled straight from the database and therefore needs to be changed on RMXPU first. I'm confused however, because the GDU theme looks like this on this domain: Is anyone else seeing a change of theme?

This idea would allow for spending points in the game, no points would ever come out of it (except if other members points were somehow exchanged, ie battles). Because we have big ideas for the points system as you know. Points that can be 'found' without being earned in anyway could break the system. I haven't looked at the code but I'm pretty sure programming knowledge is required. There is a possibly is uses ruby though, which I do not know. Apparently you can import things from RMXP. But its likely just me. I agree. I didn't mean to define what this is going to be in any way. There is a nice existing base out there which is free to use and expand on, it could be what ever the community wants it to be. I agree with you, new content would need to be made every so often. Maybe: we could make an actual project with a storyline and all, mixed in with all the interactions of other online members. By the way, I've never played an online RPG, MMORG (whatever that is, i spelled it wrong i think), etc. So we could have the interactions separate to the storyline. Then we could slowly build new storylines right into the actual game, and expand on it with new maps, etc. every so often. But we still need to have a heap of stuff to do within a limited number of maps. You know pokemon, those games used to keep you busy for so long within the world. There's got to be something to collect, build up, etc.

Yeah I agree with ForeverZero. Not much more to say.. if you think this arcade thing is achievable. Arn't those things dead though? The kids who play them are too busy with their PS3's and whatnot, arn't they? I mean, I remember when they used to make games, when I started this forum Just make sure demand is high enough. I imagine this games require a very large investment.

Nissan Bluebird Yup I'm a New Zealander and our tax system is different. I don't think its possible they govt. would come after me for tax lol my employers have been paying proper tax, so... There was however like a 3 month window where I was getting 2 sources of income and apparently I was supposed to pay a higher tax on the 2nd source. But meh. I feel like I should get $200 of tax back for getting a fine at the hospital. The first one was legit but the 2nd one was the major bullshit. I payed money to park there and still got a fine.. it will be some time before i get over this -nods-
