About that. Roochu is a combination of reworded nicknames of my friend and gf (their idea), lolsauce.

rmxpunlimited.net was from New Zealand :) Now it's moved to Japan http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/ (I'm still getting over that someone bought my domain after I let it expire :( ).

CrimsonInferno and Zahraa are/were the main female members of GDU who have been really active. I'm sure there's a few more, if we exclude Lizzie and EmilyAnnCoons. There's also this girl, who you only just surpass :)

What brought you to this site? I was inspired by Creation Asylum, my first ever experience with a forum. In particular I liked helping people. I helped this one guy, former moderator Ravenclaw by doing a bunch of battler requests for him. I really liked the sense of community there. At the bottom of Creation Asylum is link to invision free which allows you to create free forums with the ancient version of our current software. I have no idea why he had a link there, but I followed it, and boom: http://z3.invisionfree.com/RPGXP_Unlimited/index.php?showuser=1 This was on 8th May 2006. Dammnnnn. I was quite young at this time so started a real website was quite challenging. You need to pay for domains, hosting and software. I don't think I even got my first job until 2008, lol. So by major coinky dink I found 110mb.com which offered free hosting and allowed me to set up what is today this website, created 03 Oct 2006. Back then the domain was something like rmxpunlimited.110mb.com. This is our 4th server. Why did you decide to make an account and actually post? As above. Why are you still here? ....dude, why am I still here? :dizzy: Actually the website has opened a lot of doors for me. I got this laborer job at a meat factory in 2010 and it was a real grind. While I was doing the work physically, I was using my brain to come up with a new concept of the site. Of course it was amazing in my brain, and like all people who hatch master plans for major projects, it was optimistic but I still plunged thousands of hours into it and created something. I taught myself a damn lot about PHP and web development while creating the chatroom, scripts section, tutortials section, resource section and games section. I was quite new to it so if I recreated any of these sections I'm sure it would be way better :) But anyway, this led me to getting one of my part-time jobs in web development where I get very, very well and use that to fund my education. I was originally planning to do law, which the very thought of makes me grimace (even though I'm a qualified lawyer), but I'm now 6 weeks away from my second degree which includes info tech and I plan to go into the business/management side of commercial software development. So that kept me around. Currently, I'm here coz of you guys, ofc :)

The opposite, I loved the RM communities in those days and wanted to make my own, like dozens of others. On one cold evening, I made an invision forum and this was born http://z3.invisionfree.com/RPGXP_Unlimited/index.php?act=idx (which I've noticed has been hacked and the images replaced with ads). This was a very, very long time ago when I was 15. In less than a year it will a decade D: There's a story about how I created this site and the things we've had on this site, but its probably boring for you guys.

When I was sick as a kid one time, my parents hired a PS1 and cash bandicoot from the video store and that was awesome. My dad and older brother were always better than with me computers, so I learned some things from them. My older brother messed around with game dev and the one before RMXP. Before RMXP I actually messed around with 3D Game Studio, but I ended up using RMXP a lot more after being apart of RMXP forums. My dad bought me a computer when I was quite young too... since I'm 24 now, back then it was something.

Lol. Thank you for your concern about my schedule (if that's why you guys are saying that). But it's irrelevant because implementing this would take seconds. I only need to develop things outside of the forums. I have a reasonably good idea of what I'll do when I get time to develop some stuff, but I doubt it will be making the game section more customizable, although it will likely involve extending/improving it. Agreed. Nip that in the bud, plz :) I will try to explain it better. Firstly, lets look at Mundo RPG Maker. It has individual support forums for all the RM's + other engines: AND it has the learning center forums, as above. This is apparently a winning formula, because that site has approximately 1 million more posts than we do. Just to clarify things for you guys, the learning center forums are different from support forums. Inevitably there is some cross-over. Mundo uses these forums for all of the following Tutorials (not necessarily applicable to us because we already have a tutorials section) Classes - members can run their own classes Requests - this would probably replace our individual engine requests forums Show case of works (as a sub-forum).

Hi guys So I was browsing some RM websites, which I haven't done in about 5 years. But I stumbled upon something I really like at Mundo RPG Maker, which isn't an English site. It's this: A learning center where devs of any engine can come and get help or feedback. It's easy because its broad. If you want help/support on your map, you simply make a topic there, and afterwards it disappears forever. Should we implement this here?

I've renamed the topic and moved it to the new RMMV forum.
