Yeah mine is the same as yours Polraudio. Except when i use internet download manager(seems to be the only one that goes to this speed) it can go 400+. I thought Americas internet was a lot faster than ours.

Yeah, also you could try makemidgets double weapons script. http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/index.php/rmx...ns-script-.html

Anemoi! Its you! I knew the username xXDarkDragonXx looked familiar. http://z11.invisionfree.com/RMXP_Ultimate/...php?showuser=69 I used to be Neon, the creator of RMXP Ultimate. Don't you remember me? P.S. Happy Birthday Formlesstree4!

Skill Shop Message Systems - two to choose from. Both allow letter-by-letter i believe. I don't think we have any side-view battle systems that you're looking for, but it wouldnt harm you to look at what we do have: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/index.php/rmx...le-systems.html

Thats interesting, were you born with it? I always thought that a meniscus occurs when the tension of liquid makes a reading off a test tube or something seem higher than what it really is. I too have bone issues. I broke my leg playing rugby and the doctors tried to force my bones back in place, and it occasionally aches when I have to keep my car at a constant speed because thats when the foot is slightly past the point where its relaxed so it aches a bit.

If you do drop RMXP, will you leave the forums you are active at as well? I've been expecting the original active members of this forum to leave for a while now. Of over 4000, member no. 60, 110 and 201 are still here. Everything has a timeline though, and I expect we will all drop off 1 by 1. I'm afraid it will just not be the same when that happens. After 2 and a half years since you came over to RMXP Ultimate from Creationasylum, and then found that link in my signature to discover this forum, it truly will be the end of an era. Your contribution here will remain timeless. If this were a real life company there would be a gold statue of you at the front gates.

That's right. It failed pretty badly. However I do encourage you to give setting it up a go. In the past most of the contests flopped, then kiriashi started the mapping contest and it became one of the most replied to topics on the forum. You never know.

We shall await your return, Leon.

Told you you'd beat me. I'd say we'll hit 5 members with 1k posts this year.

When the game is run in debug mode(clicking Playtest in RMXP) then you can hold down ctrl and it does this: When you played games, you would have have opened the .exe file to play the game, and this would have no effect. So its a built-in testing feature. Haha pol I beat you! :D

Yeah the first level has a lot of flaws in it. The problem you're talking about I think is that the player is always getting stuck in the platforms. And since the tiles poke out and the platforms poke out(not perfectly square) then the two are always getting caught in each other. Also the jump is a bit odd, on a normal straight platform it will function properly but when you're always colliding with things it can do unexpected things. Also in the first level, if you fall down holes then you die, that should be changed also. Thanks for your rating, I'm glad you like the game. It's an especially good rating considering I was only 12 when I made this. I quite this for RPG Maker in about 2006. As you will notice there were RPG Make monsters in there from rpg maker 95 or 2000 which I had made a game with before, and after searching for a new rpg maker I discovered rpg maker xp. When I made this game I dont think i even used the internet much. Although I used to spend a lot of time making my games. ^_^

Thanks Pol ^_^ See if you can get to the very last boss(the last screenshot). If you want some pointers: - Wow that hole is small - you will fit - In most bosses you can shoot. In the first boss, just hold down spacebar. - In the 3rd level, it may be hard to get past. A cheat is at the start of the level, jump onto the left branch/wall - and hold down the jump button and you'll fly straight up it - in the second level there are a lot of places you can fall down and not get out of, dont give up and be careful. -remember items give you health(not gems), so if your low you should try and collect them

The filetype does not matter, if its allowed then then it is not the source of the problem. Do you mind telling the size of the .exe file and the error you got after attempting to upload it?

The Kings Assassin Last update: 13/04/2003. Before RPG Maker I used to a big Game Maker user, and to date I have made 2 completed games. The first is called The Kings Assassin. Originally I lost this game, but it some how ended up in my temp folder and I have managed to keep it for 6 years(and 4 days). Unfortunately only the executable survived, so this is a game that I made when I was 12. This game is platformer, as you will see in the screenshots. It ha a lot of flaws, but it is playable. To get the screenshots I had to complete the game which took me about 20 minutes. It has 4 levels and 4 bosses. The opening screen says the title of the game is the island of doom, just ignore that. That is the second game I made, i think. It also has my real name, ignore that also. I cant change it, but its ok since im the only new zealander here. Screenshots(sorry I made your page load slow  ) Download Game Hope you guys enjoy playing it.

certainty not. I did a test: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/index....mp;showfile=200 I did another test because it's not valid unless we have the same permissions, so I uploaded using a members account: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/index....mp;showfile=201 Perhaps it is a problem at your end? For the moment I can't think what the issue could be. I've had it redirect to the board index before, but I cant remember why it did that...
-
Haha sorry. I thought this was better than v2, dont think i tried v1.5. It was so long ago i barely remember uploading this. If you find a better version could you give us the link and perhaps i'll upload it to the downloads manager for other members.
-
Thats an odd one. You uploaded to the downloads manager in BGMs? The only error is, it doesnt show? Once you uploaded, were you redirected to the file you just uploaded? That is what is supposed to happen. Perhaps try again and tell me happens. Did you check the file types? Is your filetype there? If not, I will add it in there.

Welcome to RMXP Unlimited. My strength is RPG Maker XP but I have stopped working with it for quite a while now. About the monster advance database... As I was reading the posts I was thinking oh no, they don't know part of the script was changed to an emoticon when it was posted. How did you know that Anemoi? It has happened before, and it is my fault. If only more people would report these problems though, it would make my job so much easier. I'm trying to remove all these types of problems in the scripts archive(which i just checked and this script does not work), and the scripts are saved as .rtf files instead of being displayed on the page. So there are no problems in copying from the site to RMXP/VX. Could you please post the link or PM it to me so i can fix the script? I've actually had this script since 2006 on my hardrive. I'm not sure if you got it working? You just need to change all the cool.gif's, but I think the demo does work and you can get the script from there. I'm not on my computer at the moment so I cant fix the script for a while. Demo: http://rmxpunlimited.net/forums/index.php?...amp;showfile=84 Welcome again, it is nice to have experienced users joining the community. We more than often get new rmxp users. EDIT: I fixed three occurrences of the script on the site. The file in the Scripts Archive, the Demo and the script displayed in the download manager. -
Chill out Kiriashi. I did not interpret Vitus's post as commenting on let alone rude to the mentally challenged. If someone were to accuse me of that, I would be offended. Aren't the two of you supposed to be working on the same project? Vitus, while your post appears to be some kind of recruitment, it does not qualify as a "project". The rules(which you can find in the userbar at the top of the forum, or click Here) state the following: Our forum however as I'm sure you have noticed is very laid back, due to small activity, but the admins here like to keep a quality in our topics. So please do not consider yourself told off, but do read the rules. Your topic though is rather strange in comparison to most I've seen. I would think most would be intimidated by your post and would not respond. At the end of the demanding attributes you are requesting, only then they are "eligible". I would only expect this from a commercial project which the members of the team received money for their work.

Attempting to use other pics as enemies
Marked replied to nazerite's topic in General Game Development
The maximum height in RMXP in the default battle system is 320, so your battlers should be that size or smaller. The size of your battlers depend on what looks best. Since you can use photoshop, i'll tell you how I test batter size. Take a sceenshot of a random battle, just so you have a view of what the battle is going to look like. Open that up in photoshop and copy your battler over to that screen. Then just alter the size of the battler until it looks good to you. You can cut out legs and things to make the battler look bigger on the screen. I'm not sure what you mean about the white. Do you mean will it come up transparent? When you import resources(not copying to the directory) you will get to choose which color is transparent and which is opaque. If however you're importing a .PNG file which contains transparency you will not get this screen because it thinks you have done the transparencies yourself(and that's probably the easiest way to do it). If your .PNG has a solid background and you import the resource then you will get the window where you can choose the background color as transparent. Long explanation short, save you battlers in photoshop which a transparent background(that is, without one) and you wont have any trouble with which colours are transparent and not.
