That's not exactly an issue. It's a purposely built in system that allows the site to adjust to different sizes of screens, mainly mobile. I have looked at the phone portrait size (squish it in a bit) although that's not really done at all. There's a middle ground where the grid snaps to 50% for each box, it looks odd and that's probably why you think its a bug. I just saw what you mean.. yeah its easy to fix and intend to do so. I wish. But no, I don't. I'm saving a sizeable mass PM to all of members when GDU is ready. But right now, in my opinion, members arn't going to stick at a rate that boost activity for a sustained period. I gotta get new profiles, the game section, the new design, the gallery working properly and then I'll send out a nice mass PM. But I'm not relying on that by any means. The key to a succesful website is interesting and useful content, so the goal for GDU is to attract members who create tutorials, scripts and games for engines OTHER THAN rmxp, but also rmxp.

What do you guys think of a late November start? That's true. The default encryption is pretty easy to break. But lets drop this encryption discussion altogether. It was removed from the original post a while ago so its no longer an issue.

I consider that more infrequent than not, but yeah we just to figure out when most people are going to be most free, whether during holidays or not. I wouldn't know :P I haven't had a holiday since last Christmas :(

I'm thinking start a fresh topic with a poll to see who's interested, and get members to "watch" the topic so that when we start the contest, they'll be notified. I think we should hold it during that holiday break, because you know, there's never a shortage of people who overestimated the challenge.

Yeah that's a good suggestion. I'm planning to get a select range of BBCode for such stylings of posts that are consistent with the UI, once I get the UI sorted. I feel like a redesign is needed and plan to implement a new CSS system.

The table BBCode is pretty old now. The tables work in the same way that the html equivalent does, but of course you're using bbcode syntax. I'm thinking about removing it though. Its a cool BBCode, really useful, but you gotta know how HTML tables work to use it.

Everyone's been telling enterbrain for years that they've gone so backwards with the graphics. Enerbrain won't listen, they've never listened to their customers. It's probably because of the lack of competition. With the size of the RM market a few years ago, why did no other company try to match it with an RPG Maker? (or do I just not know of these other engines?)

Please try to stop it, or at least stop implying how worse this community is from the last time you were here. If enough interest is shown then we'll hold this contest as official and organize it properly, advertise and find judges. Those interested, could you please make your interest known? And also, when does the US go on holiday? We want to find a month where the majority of likely participants don't have school or anything major going on.

I can still make a site superior in terms of functionality. But y'know the days of Creation Asylum and .net/.org are gone... why do I even bother anymore.

Who cares who owns the forum? And why do you think its better if a US citizen does? I don't come from Germany, I come from New Zealand. Our servers are physically located in Germany and are managed by Isaac, who I believe is currently in Israel :) And also, there are 7 times more visitors from US than the 2nd most popular country, Canada. An overwhelming majority there.

It's not a small fact to some people, however I think some have forgotten that they're supposed to create the game for the purpose of the contest. Can't they be judged purely by just playing the games? You can make them the correct way or not so correct way but at the end of the day its the end result that counts. That would be cool, would possibly increase participants. Teams and individuals, would that be too unfair? What if forum members paired or teamed up to compete against others? Also @railfan101 I want to reformat your original post :> Just to make it more clear and structured. I really feel the urge to do that.. but lets sort out the new rules first. Lmao, NICS? Well, technically our servers are hosted in Germany and both me and isaac live outside the US, so I'm not so sure about that :P
