There's one at RMW monthly resource something (apparently forgot the script name and the resource bundle). I'll look on it later if you haven't found it yet. :) EDIT : Also, I forgot what engine the script was made for. I'm suspecting that it's RMVXAce.

Either it's the configuration, or you was on Paceci's item or skill or other individual related menu. I suspect that when you select memoir, it automaticaly calls the scene biography without selecting any actors first. The Biography Scene is suppossed to be the copy of status scene, which generate the content after getting some value by selecting an actors from the menu. And since there's no actors selected, I suspect it use the last actor's that's been recorded on the memory or it use some pre-determined value if there's no value given.

Q is for previous, and W is for next. They stand for Page Up and Page Down, I think. If you want you have it the other way around, you need to re-define what should happened when the Page Up is pressed, and when the Page Down is pressed. I'm sure you can find those command somewhere in the script editor. Copy the method and paste them to the appropriate place on the Biography script, and exchange both content for Page Up and Page Down method on the biography script (the one you just pasted.). Edit : Page Up and Page Down are triggered by L and R as input. Note that it's not L and R key in the keyboard, it's Q and W instead.

Thank you for the warning Mark. I'll find a good lawyer on this matter. JK. :oops: I already got the gist of what's gonna happen, but I still unsure whether it'll affect my pages. I'll wait for the implementation then do some necessary adjustment. :)

It's true that the maker might be programmed in C or it's family. However, if they're using C for the program that they made, why bother to implement another language as the editor? Perhaps it's for convenience, but I think it'd easier to write directly on Ruby (also to avoid conflict with C) and use it as the editor. Also, I'm not seeing problem for them to write the maker (and the DLL) directly on ruby. Am I thinking wrong in somewhere? However, It's true that RPG Maker use some of windows DLLs to enable the game it made to be able to run in windows.

Hi Izzyees. There's script that similar to your request for RGSS made by Lizzie (or Leon_Westbrooke). About the RGSS3 one, I'd like to make one, but I was busy. So, if you're willing to wait, I'll have it done sometimes, maybe next month :p

There are rumours about RPG Maker X or XR or RX or whatever the new name might be. However there's still no confirmation yet. The latest news is that they want to bring RPG Maker 2000 to english by running a petition (this is years ago, I think they give up), and a way to port RPG Maker games into android or iOs and such. The latter one is still in development. I think we can see it happened this year. And to answer your question about what language did rpg maker vx ace made with, it's written in Ruby. Good luck with your RPG Maker Ice. :)

Like rgangsta said, that's not a bad deal. But I'm worrying about the traffic. :annoyed: I'm interested in wordpress. Is there's anyway to integrate pre-existing wordpress into the one that you still build? I like my old one and have two with almost similar content is somewhat redundant.

As I'm not too good with creating resources, I'm hoping that at least the RTP is available for use. About things other than RTP, perhaps people start listing what they want to use and make a collective list of it. Just curious, are we must use specified engine? Can someone with please start making an official rules or something similar so we can start discuss it properly without the need to grasp everything in darkness? -

Even thought the game is not going commercial, we should still respect the copyrighted music. We might not gonna have trouble with the copyright, but it's still a violation for the rights. If you can get the permission, I think it's fine. Also, there's ton of free music out there that you can choose to use on your game. However, Game Jam and similar event tends to have every resource to be made during the Jam or only use some basic resources that available for everyone or specified material that's been agreed to be able to use for the Jam, approved by the community. So, which one is us? -
XP is not supported on 64 bit OS. However, I've heard that version 1.05 had bug fix etc to make it more compatible on vista and newer OS, but it is for Japanese version. Haven't heard the english version yet, or perhaps it's already there and I just don't know.

@Germany I'd rather to not drag outsider on this, so I'll soloing everything, assumed that it's acceptable :annoyed:. Except someone want to take me on for the ride here ;). @Omar I think frameworks is fine, providing that most of it is just basic system or the core is available for public to use. -
It's there in script setting. Change the text_x value into about 8 or 10 to make the text appear more rightly (sorry, can't find the correct word for this :P ). EDIT : Let me add some details about the script. - The setting to make the bust appeared in front of the message box is also in script setting. - There's no word wrapping feature when you change the text_x value, so user need to adjust the text themself. - You can't change the script setting via script call. Or perhaps I'm missing something.

Should we discuss about the rules and other related stuff in the meantime? Let me throw some example. - Party members Game Jam is done with team (It's called Jam for a reason). However, we have very small numbers of active members on the site, so making some team from the site is quite dificult. The alternatives is taking someone outside the forum and form a team or soloing everything. - Content Restriction All free resources available, or RTP only, or pre-made content are not allowed with RTP as exception or any other restriction. - Specific Time as Standard We use specific time limit as standard so everyone can start on the same time, or everyone is posting when they will start due the time difference or other real life restriction, assumed that the starting time is still tolerable to some extent. etc, etc. Since it is for fun, I think judge is not necessary. We can just throw some vote or something similar in case we need one :p -

Yes, that's what I meant. Anyway, since none of those are the problems, and I can't think any of another normal cause, perhaps you should try to upload your demo with working bug on it, or post some method to trigger the bug. I can check it for you on my spare time. :) -

Oops, yeah, it's the top left one. My bad :p About the move event (or Set Move Route), there is command that can make the player is placed on top of other objects called "Always On Top" and there is command that can make player move through any terrain called "Through". If both are on, the the player will be on top of all objects and able to move through everything. -

The problem might be : * Transparent tileset which is passable are placed on second or third layer. Make sure that you only use the most upper right transparent tileset when you want to erase the tiles you don't want to use on your map. * You mess with the character setting in the "move event" command. Perhaps you set the priority to higher or something like that and forgot to turn it back. I think that's all. If there's still problem, you can upload the demo of your game and I can check it for you. -
Read the instruction, it's there in the script. Also, it says to download the demo if you don't understand. If you've already done that and still get trouble, feel free to ask again. :)
