Ok i can help. I built my own computer from newegg and build them all the time. You wont notice to much of a difference with an SSD. I would save your money till SSD's are about the same price as normal mechanical HDD's. Whats your max money limit? If i know your max limit i will put together a wishlist on newegg with parts for what you want it for.

Anyone know if theres a script where i can show a picture above layer3 and right below the event layer and if not know how i would go about making one? I think this would work kind of the same way parallax mapping does. If someone is willing to make one make the callscripts something like: $showpic(1,"001.png") $removepic(1) Should function just like the event show picture. Thanks in advance

depends how you want it to show. If you want it hidden you can do a common event on the skill that requires it. EX: When you cast cure it runs a common event that checks the players level to see if its the required level then if if the players the required level it learns the skill cure 2 so next time they go into skills cure 2 will be shown. Then you make it go away at the end of battle or when the player casts cure 2.

I think its 854x480. I dont see why anything would mess up by changing the resolution on your computer. I do it all the time. If the screen goes black or says mode not supported just wait 15sec and it will revert back.

Yea try lowering your desktop resolution a little. Whats your current resolution? 640x480 is the wii's standard resolution.

Oh lol. I thought you were trying fancy words with Dazzle lol. You could always try changing your resolution.

What do you mean by device? It just records whatever is showing on your screen(PC Screen). No devices needed. If your trying to record with a capture device like what you have for your console then you have no choice but to use what they give you.

Most people don't read stuff before clicking next, next, next. Always look at every little check box when installing stuff. Even go to custom setup if it has it.

I would have to agree with the graphics part. I cant map worth crap in VXA because of the carppy chibi 32x32 characters and tiles. The lack of actual layers is so annoying. What if i want to put whats on B over C? I cant because they use different tilesets for different layers unlike every other maker in the world lets you do. I cant be creative like i can on XP. The scripting system OMG so annoying having to edit every script in the database to make 1 simple little edit. RMXP allowed creativity 90-100% VX allowed creativity 50-60% VX ACE allowed creativity 65-70% If someone could bring RGSS1 and the full size RMXP sprites and full mapping system i would use ace hands down. For now till RPG Maker 2020 im sticking with XP. EDIT: i could take VX/ACE and use everything on XP but cant take XP and use it in VX/ACE.
