I can't seem to find anything on connection on that site...then again, its a massive site that is hard to find my way around.

I hope it was okay to post here instead of making a new thread... I haven't been able to do it, so I thought to ask here: How do you set up Wi-Fi for Pokemon Black on DSi? I can go on google and surf the web, but I can't figure out how the internet connection works on Pokemon. Anyone know how? :(

Isn't there an Uncharted game for the Vita coming out? I believe I saw it in action on E3, looked amazing. Oh, that reminds me. Is it true you don't "buy" games phsycially, but web wise?

Sorry about the wait, notebook kinda sucks. Okay, here are two screenshots. Now, I didn't make it complicate and I only know you have a "graphic disappearing" problem, so that's what I worked for. If it helps, but not fully, just tell me what kind of event you are trying and I can offer help for it. NOTES: For the above picture, you can see that I underlined something in red. This is a very important option that will help you in the long run of setting up events. "Control self switch" is an option you can find in the events tabs, and has some multiple selections: A, B, C (etc). Now, in my opinion and I'm not an expert at it, is to start with A if you have a NPC doing multiple things. Anyways, what you want to do is make your event and the NPC's actions or text after you select a sprite/graphic for it to work. Next, if you want it to be activated by action button, select it or another "Trigger" you want as the way to start the event. Once you have done that, head to the left in the empty field and fill in your events/text. Next, put a Control Self Switch in AFTER all the other events, text etc etc. Now create a NEW PAGE on that event. You should see a completely blank page now. NOTES: As you can see in the image above, I boxed one thing and highlighted another. Let us take care of the red field first. Find the graphic you selected on the first page (unless the event is your actor morphing into a beast etc etc then select THAT sprite here) and then CHECK SELF CONTROL SWITCH and find the alphabet letter you select on the first page (should be A, especially if you followed the images) and then hit "APPLY". Now go to the empty field text and start up your events, text, music or what you want the character to do. Now hit "APPLY" once more, and test the event. The first time you talk to the NPC, they should say something. And then when you talk to the NPC the second time, they say something completely different and no longer offer the first text selection. And the graphic should still be there. Does that work?

For the swimming problem, I'll see if I can do something about it. I'll need to find a swimming graphic before I can try it though. You have to use switches (etc etc) to do that, so erase event is a bad idea here. Would a screenshot help? Also, I reccomend playing the RMVX School game, it helps with XP and VX.

May? I think it would definitely kill them, for sure. It is the world's biggest mistake to make in the gaming department. Not only would they lose the more rich costumers, but they would no longer be supported by the poorer peoples who purchase their systems and games, new and used. If its true, a dying console and genre is what they deserve for being thieves and money-grubbers.

I think its a really good start, actually. You just need to keep practicing and practicing and you'll get even better at it, believe me. You can worry about shading etc etc later, for now you should try and get the feel of the style of the sprite; tracing some existing sprites on a new layer in a drawing problem (Graphics Gale or GIMP are good, and free) and then try recoloring them. These processes will help you understand where the light comes from, shading, folds in their clothes etc etc. If you want to just skip that and start spriting yourself, you can do so, but it will be a lot harder. Would you like some links to some spriting tutorials?

Ah, yes, ACTA. It was abundantly clear there wouldn't be a stop to online censorship so easily. This is something the big baddies want terribly, and it will keep coming back unless the 13 million+ who stood up against SOPA/PIPA come back to fight this one, and any other offspring it may create. There was, unless it is still floating around, the elder of SOPA/PIPA, called IPA (Internet Piracy Act). It was what caught my attention to these ridiculous bills about online illegally distrubuted copy righted material. I've been trying to destroy it since then.

Its probably not much, but I liked the new site on facebook. I would do it on Youtube and Twitter, but I don't know how. Never really used those sites, only exist for family purposes. lol
