Lol if you weren't good at sports? :P Yes that is fact, certain races have denser bones than others making them stronger, and more athletic. Then again I think that's not what's being stereotyped here: 'the average black kid has an 87% chance of becoming either a professional athlete or an entertainer'.
-
Yeah that in itself is not a stereotype. But the video says adopt a black kid and he'll likely end up in the entertainment/sporting industry.

lol madanchi. Football refers to 1. Ameican Football/Gridiron 2. Various codes of rugby (union, league, and less professional ones) and 3. Soccer. I just felt obligated to distinguish american football from rugby. This may illustrate the point (but not until 2:10) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgoOJd6-_gg

Moved to the Cafe. This sort of topic isn't what the advertising forum is for. Boom: http://www.youtube.com/rmxpunlimited

 I just dont get it.
-
Yes but I'm almost certain you and I have had this exact issue before with another section with the website. So it works and I can close the topic?
-
Yeah, I'm suprised you didn't catch this one with all your username changes in the past. You see when you get it changed, you also need to change your username on your account for the website. I changed that for you so the shop be working for you.
-
The issue? As I recall, activity was a factor. I think a lot of people had given up on the site. I suppose there was a fair bit of drama back then, perhaps a little bit of experience in terms of management? I used to be such a noob :P Pretty cool how we've got that history captured there :) For some reason that site has been very reluctant to capture rmxpunlimited.net, and i dont know why :/ EDIT: found the gap where it goes from you to me :P

Leon and Emily both had my position at one stage, but I'm reasonably certain it was Emily at the time when you offered to host the site. This builds on your post perfectly: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/438-ghost-rider-is-now-a-member/ I wasn't quite as gone as you thought I was :P I suppose things worked out in the end. When rmxpunlimited.com fell through, I restarted the forums with my own backup of the database. I remember the day rather clearly when an unknown hacker came about, but in the end they lost and couldn't take us down. Pretty cool how you, Leon and Ryanrulz have all been active within the last few days despite us all joining well over 4 years ago.

That's right, our house is in good condition unlike thousands of people in the city. The only problem is that we all go into the city for work or uni. And since so many people have died, I couldn't help but panic about the safety of my family since my entire family happened to be there. So I really needed to talk to you guys... EDIT: Now I know that my reaction wasn't too irrational. The quake yesterday has been upgraded to a 6.3 at a depth of 6km, which is identical to the last quake which killed 186 people. This time, 46 people were hurt, no deaths.
-
@Tomo: haha yeah I think you're right. Though perhaps its just Christchurch city. In terms of mother nature though, I think Australia has us beat. :P @Pol: thank you :) Actually, we did not have quakes before this. They're saying that perhaps the faults that caused them have been dormant for 16,000 years, so that's pretty unlucky its happening now. Before the first in September, I had never experienced an earthquake before and I wasn't even aware it was a quake when the first one came.

I just wanted to say thank you to those members who were in chat today who unfortunately witnessed me in a bit of a panic... As I have posted before, my area has recently gone throw a few quakes: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/7031-going-to-be-busy-for-a-while/page__view__findpost__p__60693 http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/6530-christchurch-earthquake/ The point of this topic is not to bring any attention to the quake, its purely a public thank you those guys. I'll sum up what happened real quick. If you've read my previous posts then you know when the major Feb quake came which killed 186 people, I was left stranded at university and was unable to contact my family for 4 hours before i finally got in contact and found my home (i live about 40km from uni). So, i heard about all these trapped people, crushed busses etc. and naturally, was extremely worried about my family members. What happened today was, (as soon as I opened chat) a big quake came. A strong one which (for the first time since our last major quake in feb) caused evacuations, despite being only our 6th equal strongest quake/aftershock. That was ok, speed the heart rate up a bit but its not wholly unexpected and we're used to it, but this one was pretty strong. However just 1 hour and 20 minutes later, a much larger quake struck in the same place but was a very strong quake. Being alone at my house (as it is study week) my family members were again in the city during another very large quake. So the scenario of not knowing if my family were alive or dead was happening all over again, and I was just a wee bit upset about that. All I could do was wait, and the members in chat talked to me and helped me calm down, which i certainly needed at the time. I don't particularly fear quakes, especially when I am in my room (a sleep out that I would most likely survive if it collapsed on me), but when you're family members are at risk like that it can really put a strain on your mental state. Perhaps I was being a bit irrational, considering I know the drill very well and know what magnitudes are capable of what damage. But I couldn't help it at the time. So that's what happened. And the guys in the chat helped me out by keeping me calm and distracted when I needed to be. To to those who were in chat, thank you :) I am very grateful, and you I'm pleased to inform you that all of my family and friends are well and safe.

For the moment the status is like a retirement thing. You'll get it when you're gone too ^_^ *taunts*

Pol is right. It's personally my decision. But it's not members that I simply like, it's a recognition of their contribution, and I've been here the longest so presumably I know who deserves it :) However, the current rmxpu members were given their title because they were inactive and it didn't feel right to make them members like everyone else. So there are current active members who I think should be promoted. The threshold is very high. Pol, kiriashi and isaacsol are obvious ones (i generally don't like to list them in case i miss someone and they get offended) but they are current staff. There are other members I playfully call rmxpu "villains" who probably won't get it, though they have made considerable contribution. I'm not sure about whether its possible to lose your rmxpu legend status yet :P *back to study*

Had business to take care of. And making a post in this topic and banning me just wastes time coz I gotta go unban myself to see what you posted :pinch: You may re-ban me now.

See you all in 3 weeks :-)

@Kiri As do I. And as far as I'm aware, the only other.
Anyway, good luck Marked.

You can have any site like that with loose javascript all over the place :P

Looks like a 3-way tie. In that case, I think we'll stick with the chat we have now. But I am still keen on the idea of finding a better chat system down the track.

Boom

Awesome :alright: Also, can you do me a favor and read through all the rules? On RMXPU, generally we do not double-post unless we're bumping a topic, and also making 1 and 2-word posts are considered spam. So just give the rules a quick read :)

another problem with the site

:pinch: I know... It was a joke. Well, I really do not know how to fix this issue. To be honest, I don't have time to work on it at the moment. I have to spend all my free time studying, which I have been severely neglecting this week. This forum software is proving more and more buggy as time goes on. It was so good back in the day.. After my exams I will look into this for you, but it's no big deal at the moment. The friends feature is pretty much useless. But I have big plan for the friends system, particularly when there is a dashboard and member feed :) -
To build on what Kiriashi said, you'll find some suggestions in the rules: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/rules-and-policies#projecttopic I know it says 'RMXP' but it also applies to all project topics, the rules are just a bit outdated :sweatdrop:

Oh, not really. Its supposed to redirect to the XP battlers gallery on account of those two categories containing exactly the same images. The URL probably changed and broke my redirect. Upgrading these apps is most regrettable. I plan to fix the gallery in the future, its really bad at the moment.
