If you're talking about the gallery, they'll be left there for everyone. To be honest thats just a big mess of uncredited resources... This is like an incentive system. For members firstly to get credit, see how popular their resources are, and get something in return for members using them. Just like the 'Members RPG Maker Resources' category. If that didn't exist those images wouldnt be uploaded anyway. Its debatable but I have noticed that most members who upload to the categories in the gallery are usually bulk uploads of resources that aren't their own.

You have to deal with it in your own way. Its going suck for a while, but time will heal it

I think you're confused with what I meant by 'ads'. Ads are random advertisements (usually google adsense) that are used to make money. I've done that and got the same error before.

Members have different mapping styles, so the more the better :) An alternative to the forum is another section of the shop where members can add the services they'd like to offer, and members can purchase them right off the page. However I'm not sure everyone who offered their services would go through with it with that system. I'm also thinking of making a skin switcher for the shop, so you can choose between the current VX styled theme or just a cleaner web-styled one. EDIT: Oooh I just had the best idea EVER. Ok so members can upload their resources, and I'll make script that automatically places a watermark over it. So members can view what it will look like without actually being able to use it, then a member can buy it and have the original sent to them. :)

Tiny in terms of activity? I think in terms of pageviews and visitors we're ok. We do struggle with keeping members however. I'm really not a fan of the ads. Are they there on purpose, or did the host place them there? By the donation page I assume its on purpose. You're never going to make any money off them, not till you're REALLY active. At the moment, if you have ads like that, its way more harmful because they're just going to annoy members. If the site is moving like Kage said, the current board should be turned offline (the current forum announcement thing is pretty unnoticeable, I wouldnt have noticed if I didnt read Kage's post). Nice work Kage, as madanchi said they look pro. Isn't firefox for web grahpics though? I thought photoshop could do everything fireworks could, but I havent used it in since like '05.

A while back our internet service provider removed our unlimited bandwidth plan so we're on a limit. I share our internet connection with 4 other people, and we've already used about 35% of our limit in the 1st week. So I'm looking for a program or a browser plugin that records how much bandwidth I'm using up per day or something similar like that... Does anyone know of something that can do this? I use firefox by the way.

So you're bumping? You know this topic is pinned, right? Should get it a few more views though. I think it's not ideal due to the poor translation, but I think English speakers can still learn from it.

In terms of the law not evolving with technology, if what evil cabbage said was accurate: When a court decides on something, it becomes the law. Because once another case comes around that is similar, the courts are going to use that past case to come to their decision. So this is the law, until a higher court (or the same court assuming it has the power to overrule its own decisions) overrules this decision. But I don't know much about the US legal system so this is probably inaccurate..

Condolences for your uncle. No one is saying this is a joke, no one ever would. There is doubt (clearly not in some peoples mind) about who is to blame for this, and that is the topic being discussed here. If your mind is absolutely made up, there is no reason to view the topic any further, particularly if it offends. It's kind of a policy not to act on one members feelings alone, there's always outliners right? If I get a PM or any other member would like this topic closed, I'll be happy to oblige. I think this is the fairest way.
