I'm thinking about writing a tutorial, one that covers basically how to create a recent posts module/hook as on our homepage and forums index. It's main emphasis will be PHP and MySQL. What do you think?

Ok, the error is Rgansta's post. Rgansta, whatever you edited your post with, its messing with the page. I have no idea why, I've never come across an error like this. Also I don't think there's a browser error in which the page simply doesn't load.

I'm pretty sure you need to know PHP before doing it in OOP. I didn't quite get far enough to learn it but I know its objects and classes and things. I was going to begin OOP on my exam tracker website on your hosting service Clone, but for some reason it does not seem to be working. But that's another issue. I would like to continue using the hosting service if possible however. Hehe. Mine almost crashed at around 50,000. :) The ++ thingy is pretty useful though. Its common to see $counter=0 followed by a while loop containing $counter++. You know how the news system on the homepage has the avatar on the left, then right, the left etc. That's partly how its done. Another use is the ranks created in the Hall of Fame. I'll try think of another way to crash your browser :)

I quickly gave up on w3schools, the exact tuts you're doing, but I occasionally use the site for reference. I like messing with Php and MySQL. Try this doing this, without trying to comprehend what it does: <?php $y=0; while($x == $x) { $y++; echo $y.'<Br />'; } ?>

No because NZ does not need to go to war for money. No one will EVER bomb NZ apart from the face we're allies with the US and England and the rest (because they are currently involved in a war). Of course the US were to fight back. Pearl Harbor made the US people want the war.

Wars are about money. Without offending any country all I can say is the world sucks, it really does.

I don't know how I feel about topics on war since governments have no problem feeding their citizens bulls**t. If the US couldn't win without the bomb, then I think it was necessary. Otherwise not.

In these circumstances, the two posts will be identical, and we'll simply remove one of them. It's pretty common on forums and most sites that use forms. All forms have submit buttons and by default there is no system from preventing the ability to submit more than once by clicking repeatedly. There is a fix of course but this software does not have one.

I'm sure when they are old and alone their preferences will change. In a physiology study, people who have the same level of attractiveness (I wont explain what that means but you get it) end up with each other. I wasn't hugely shocked by the results... I think in some cases its acceptable though.

Yeah Tomo you're right, though there may yet be a positive outcome. The rules have been edited over the past few days and we plan to edit them a lot further. They'll also be added to the Terms of Service page upon registration so all members would have declared they agree to them. I should have made it clear by now about the rules on double-posting and rules not expressly written. This is by no means unreasonable and in fact is similar to the laws by which most of us live our lives. I think this topic should be left open (as long as it stays civil) so no member feels like we are unjust or corrupt.
