It looks like you've used textures? That's not how you do it, unless that's the style you're going for. I think pixel art is pretty much universal for this type of thing. Check this out: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/3913-complete-rpg-maker-xp-spriting-guide/ Here's a diagram from that: -> Dots.

Separate the Video Game and Movie Forums.

Vote in the poll everyone!! -
I'm working on the bubbly no banner issue. I know exactly what it is but just don't have the solution yet... As for emoticons, that's the only way to show them. Each has a code like that. I think you can disable them in your settings so you can only see the plain text, but everyone else will see emoticons. Just be creative and come up with ones that arn't used for emoticons :)

Welcome back Wyz, good to hear your vacation went well. I was wondering when we would see you again, glad to have you back :)

True, but that's splitting hairs a little bit don't you think? :P

Well you could bookmark the site instead of using a search engine to find it. We can't really help you with that error because you're not trying to access the site directly and we can't rule out an external error. So just use rmxpunlimited.net in your url bar.

Ok I'm going to try Opera... since you guys make such a fuss over it. It better be quick.... But, Firefox is still supreme.

Exactly.... Am I the only one who thinks this makes sense? There's no difference between RMXP battlers and RMVX battlers. When I was away approximately a year ago one of the admins added an RMVX battlers category thinking I had left it out, but I actually did it on purpose. The trick here is that I've made it look like the VX battlers category is full of images, but is just redirects to the XP category which is where all the battlers will be uploaded... In other words I made it really simple for VX users to find battlers. Because they wouldnt enter the XP category, and having a battlers category outside the engine categories would make it harder to find. Makes sense right?

Haha yeah completely wrong. It's not an image, its some type of improvement. Think of the similarities between RMXP and RMVX. And maybe pay attention to the breadcrumbs :)

I'm reasonably confident I can do it. :) I'm not at home at the moment but I'll see if I can do this when I get home. Come on guys... Ok, 15 Points :)
-
Nope. I think I can get them too though.. Would you like them to?

I would like to change that. XP is great and all, but we gotta keep up with the times. To be an RMXP forum is to set a closing date.

Membership rapid increase and inactivity

You see the buttons along the bottom-right of each post? You can click reply and it will take you to the post screen containing the persons quote. MultiQuote does the same but you click for each post you want to quote then click the Add Reply button to go to the post screen and all the quotes will be there. Speaking of members, so far we've no member validation meaning that anyone can register without needing to confirm their email address. I originally wanted to make it very easy to get an account here, but now it doesn't seem so important. I'll make email validation required and that should cap registers a wee bit. I still think the key to activity is having members doing something in the engines. Tutorials (apart from yours, Kiriashi) and RGSS Script submissions are becoming rarer. We may still get a few posts each day, but I've noticed recently they're the wrong kind. A lot of active members have started to drift into turning topics into spam and I think RMXPUnlimited has slowly started a culture of spamming. Though I think a few members have paid attention to my warnings. If we did turn into a forum like that, I'd shut it down. -
Yeah, sadly editing topics does not work. I'll try to fix it...

Yeah, same thing though right? Conveys we're about only XP and VX, which is kind of true, but restricts us to supporting more engines. Make sense? I can't beleive that you would suggest RPG Crisis after they way they treated you. Seems like they manage to find their way here anyway before I ban them. I have nothing against the admin of RPG Crisis, but that site goes against everything that this one is against. I'll never be associated with them Where did you get that quote from? (post above this one). I can't put your post into context. -
Separate the Video Game and Movie Forums.
Marked replied to FranklinX's topic in Feedback, Bug Report and Forum Help
I think Poll :) I did take into consideration the activity of each of those topics which were separate forums. Movies and TV shows is a pretty unpopular topic here. So I merged them, and they do fit into the same broad category. Though it does make sense to give Video Games its own forum. A poll will convince me :) -
Here is a chair: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/gallery/image/466-chairstemppng/ As Chief said, RPG Maker XP has plenty of furniture in the RTP tilesets already. If you want something different, then please edit your post and read the rules and guidelines topic of this forum to help you: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/630-resource-request-rules-and-guidlines/

It's faster to write down the topic ID's and then do a query in the database. Besides, the edit doesn't seem to work with prefixes. You could give me the topic ID's which is effectively doing the job, but since it is a rather large task, I feel obliged to not accept you offer. To see what I mean, you could trying doing the 2nd page of the Projects forum, just recording the topic ID's and then giving them to me. Only if you're really that bored... After doing 1 page, I think you will see just how much time it takes. There's 10 pages altogether in the projects forum. I just finished the resource forum and that took me nearly 2 hours.
-
:) Glad you like. Oh by the way, the prefixes in the titles (for example, the [XP/VX] in [XP/VX] DQ Church System) is not part of this. Those are there from our old rules. I'll remove them... when I'm bored :) Actually I'll prob do it each morning when I arrive at uni, before sunrise for goodness sake :P

Topic Prefixes Yesterday I stumbled upon a very useful modification called topic prefixing. This mod allows members to select a prefix when creating a topic (the following shows the engine prefixes shown in all the Game Development forums except the RMXP/RMVX forums): This comes out in the topic listings (and also when viewing the actual topic): Even cooler, you can sort the topics by the prefix by clicking on them. For example, the following link shows all of our RPG Maker VX user submitted scripts: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/forum/14-user-submitted-scripts/page__filterprefix__2 There will be forums that require a prefix, such as Projects & Teams, Resource Requests, RGSS Scripts, etc. I have not yet got the requirement to work, but all members should know when a prefix is appropriate. I will also be adding tutorial based prefixes since our XP and VX tutorials in separate forums. For example there will be prefixes for Eventing tutorials, mapping, scripting etc. Over the next for days (or weeks) I will try to prefix all of the topics where appropriate. & Updates Click here: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/gallery/category/56-rpg-maker-vx-resources/ And click on the battlers category (it's the 3rd one). To the member who points out what I've done, you can have 5 points :) And secondly, the RGSS Scripts forum has been hidden since the last forum restructure. Only admins could see it. A little surprised no one had noticed, but it's back now :)
