Not a bad idea to upload them here. The site went down a while back and people couldn't access them. I'm just wondering if the prefix should be multi rather than RMXP, since most resources can be used with VX as well.

The site actually doesn't exist anymore. Its a webarchive, it copies data from sites at a point in time and stores them. It usually takes a while to load up. The link doesn't actually have the image that the script requires. I suspect also it was made with postility knights and thats why it has defaultfont variables. The legal version doesn't require. I edited the script so it works:

I think Kiriashi has written you a nice tutorial which I'm sure he will make public shortly. Actually I was just like you when I first discovered forums. I got told off a bit posting in the wrong sections, asking silly questions, but I guess now I'm pretty good.

I think I covered those examples in my list. I did use that topic and it did instigate this one. Yes you're right Chief. It will not be permanent, we're not that kind of forum. We've barely ever needed use the warning system. I'll make things fair. I'm not sure that is necessary. But remember, this is part of our rules:

Sadly Joey didn't PM me, so he's banned. But I've started work on something super awesome, finally finishing up my rmxpu in 2010 topic promises :) So I decided to install this coz it only takes a minute. All groups can use it in all forums (though really it should be request forums). Mods can bump anytime and members can bump every 24 hours. Happy Kage? Slacker pffft.

Related Update: As I stated in the first post all of the mods were overwritten which made most of them stop working. This includes the points system so no one has obtained any posts since this upgrade but it's working again now.

Ok cool. I will give this serious consideration when I get home tonight. (supposed to be studying now at uni, or whatever). If someone PM's me I will be far more likely to do it. I nominate Joey for this.

There are plenty tuts out there. The best way to learn a scripting language is to set yourself a goal, something you want to make happen in the code, and then try to do it. This brings up a good point. When I say that there is little game development going on here I dont mean that I want our active members to start contributing. Looking at the big picture, members come and go and only a few are core assets to the site. So I mean when I say a lack of development is we do not attract members who have particularly good skills in spriting, scripting, etc. and who want to actively distribute their works on a site like this. Make sense? Hope that's not offensive to some of you guys, it's not supposed to be, its just one narrow view of it.

I downloaded it. But I dunno Kage, I'm feeling lazy, so... It does have limits as you can see from the link posted, but I haven't tested it. How slack of me.

The RPG Maker XP one is the same. We should make our own to promote it here.

That's good. It's actually occurs on the index when the forum is trying to update the topic markers table. It thinks its not there, but it is, and I think the actually display of the error messes up the forum. So in fact thats an error from an error. How troublesome.
