  1. Yes sir. I very well did double-post, and I firmly stand by the fact it is within my privileges to do so as long as there is no rule abolishing it.
  2. I have a lot of respect for Kiriashi and this community as a whole. That respect does not protect anybody from receiving brutal honesty when I see nonsense. Not your fault at all. Teeny weeny anything is irrelevant. This is the moderation taking action on something perfectly justified according to the rules and I am posting my feedback in the feedback forum. Brutal honesty and constructive criticism do not equal personal attacks. Nope. If I've seen another moderator conducting the same then I would've criticize him as well.
  3. Moderator jobs exist for the sole purpose to clean-up forums based on the rules. If posts contain offensive content, unlawful material, or otherwise posts that violate the proper etiquette of posting then cleaning-up is done according to the moderator's role. This, on the other hand, is something you just simply don't like and is a problem. Common sense. Excellent. When web asshats like Knux criticize your actions then you're quite defensive. Constructive criticism? Not like I am here calling you a poor moderator. Perhaps you're a very good moderator, but when you do something your cohort perceives as wrong expect the Hurricane B to tear a few shingles off the roof of your home. Read one of my previous entries in this thread for an explanation. Then it needs to be written in the rules, so any future moderation of this would be perfectly justified. We have an incomplete rules document. A remarkable common sense overkill.
  4. Yes, because if a rule isn't listed in the books then fundamentally the rule doesn't exist and you have no right to act upon it as a moderator. A multitude of forums allow double-posting EVEN if it's mere seconds later. Since this isn't one of them then it is the administration's fault for not listing it. Not concerned about your aggression.
  5. I posted this topic because this is the feedback forum. If this topic shouldn't be posted here, then what should? Positive feedback and sugar-coated negative feedback? This topic isn't entirely against public-posted warnings, however if your public warning is targeted toward a non-existent (deleted) post then what sense does it make to the members? If this is the system to abide by, then at least explain what moderation action you've taken against a particular post, a deletion or modification. That way you will make sense. EDIT: I don't recall any abolishing against double-posting in the board rules. Perhaps the rule is posted in an obscure location, or you weren't aware that double-posting is accepted.
  6. I would like to present my feedback on how some of this board's moderators take action on disputes. In My forum, RMXP For You: Post #58, the OP supposedly double-posted, however the moderator both deleted the post in question AND publically exposed the issue which should have been done privately via PM. Why? It would trigger confusion among the general public, as evident in here. My point is if you delete a post, then deal with the member in private instead of littering a topic about it. It is pretty damn simple.
  7. Word of mouth by RATED-RKOFRANKLIN. As far as your game is concerned, not on my PC but then again I am almost new.
  8. Tofu is something I consume quite a bit, predominantly in stir fry (using firm cubes) and other choice Asian dinners prepared at home. Concurred. Tacos fit the bill as my personal favorite Mexican food recipe.
  9. When humans do the darnedest things, I become 20 bucks richer.
  10. I'd say if a member is too perplexed to chip in a normal discussion, then maybe they shouldn't be posting a topic at all. Spam forums serve nothing more than a retreat for the community to go out to lunch and get away with it. The trash needs to be taken out.
  11. Already aware of that, but I believe the site should mainly consist of RMXP material, judging by RMXP in the name. I have second thoughts of uploading a large collection of material designed for previous RPG Makers. Then again, the name is just a placeholder anyway. I just remembered that.
  12. In other words, I have no RMXP resources in my file collection. Just resources from RPG Maker 2000 and 2003.
  13. Once you have a system of storing resources, I'll see what I can do to contribute. I have a collection of resources for RPG Maker 2000 and 2003, but unfortunately none for RMXP, the site's primary RPG Maker. Don't have intentions of flooding your RMXP site with resources from vintage incarnations. edited to revise
  14. If you're seeking for a web forum with an active community, you need to convince your visitors with an inducement to join up and stay, instead of simply registering a forum, applying a skin, setting up a few boards and advertising it in its empty state expecting visitors to enrich it. Content will make or break a web site. You can start by adding quality content, and exclusive content that separates your site from others. What does your site comprise of that other sites don't?
  15. Perhaps they hired a typical teenage Youtuber to do the animations. That's what the video looks like to me.
  16. Exactly. Average gamers with no background in 3D game development that conveyed a negative verdict on a consumer video game, on a web forum, should brew their own variation. What a stupid argument.
  17. Fan of a large variety of international foods, but definitely enjoy Greek, Chinese, Italian, and Mexican foods. Difficult to precisely name a top favorite however it's probably inclined toward Mexican. I mainly go with the health-friendly food choices and avoid the fast food market.
  18. I recall seeing all the eye-candy a few years ago when first giving Opera a whirl. Granted it was fun but Opera was giving me irritating issues, though couldn't remember what they were. A switch back to Firefox did happen. Whatever, I am happy with Firefox as of current anyway.
  19. Google did the right thing wrong. Besides simply consolidating the search output on a single page they also made a cluster fuck out of the revised layout. My browser lags painfully as I scroll down the page. Whatever, the option to switch layouts to your preferences should rest on the top menu rather than the bottom to dodge this nonsense.
  20. Your policy is respected, but I honestly disagree. When a game sucks, it is subjective to opinion. Expressing a very low opinion against a game is brutal honesty and not crossing any major lines. The fact that all the time and effort invested in the game by the company should not in the slightest revise my conclusion.
  21. I just downloaded the application, extracted the archive, fired it up and when I registered, the application doesn't respond. Perhaps it is due to an offline server. (Read the reply to the post in the link below) http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/5162-arkmessenger-public-beta/page__view__findpost__p__43175
  22. Yeah, FFXIII pretty much sucks. The upcoming FFvXIII is supposed to bring back some of the classic elements. However I wouldn't be surprised if the game will flop given all the other worthless garbage Square-Enix has been publishing in recent years. As a result, the company has a spot on my shit list.
  23. Chat rooms usually rely on the popularity of their websites for traffic. It is larger communities like RMN that drive significant traffic into their IRC channels or rooms that result in a more populated chat environment. RMXP Unlimited seems to be a smaller community that is also spread across the globe with major time gaps between members. These are some, if not all, of the hurdles that prevent a chat room's activity.
  24. Yeah it is essential to request a manager when the representative is nothing but dung. Couldn't tell you how many times I had to do just that.
