The cape is better, I did an animation of it in graphics gale to check it but noticed that there's something else that seems funny about him, when he walks his pants don't move at all. It seems like his feet are just jumping back and forth unconnected to the body, maybe it's just me and how hungry I am. Perhaps a slight change in the curve on the side of the pants with the leg that is back and some more shadowing with the stepping motion will make it look more human and natural.

Hey, as active as I am on here past few days I have started to see a random 404 error show up when loading pages here, usually reloading the page 2 or 3 times will load the page but for awhile it had me a bit confused. I don't have trouble with any other page so I don't think it's a problem with my connection. Anyone else getting this problem from time to time?

Hm, Manga Fox. I love this site I was reading Mahou Sensei Negima on there. I'll be reading for the next day or two I guess hopefully I'll get some inspiration here. Oh, Kwon Yong-wan, I think I'm familiar with his work not sure though not read to many manhwa lately. Wish I had more time to read but, I keep filling my time up with various events with family and such.

Okay, new question for all those that want to see the spoof game. I was considering doing it in RMXP but, I recently got RMVX just to mess around with. Which do you think would be more interesting to see this done in, RMXP or RMVX? If I can find my old back up disks I have the older RPG Makers as well so that may be a possibility. I'll give this question about a week before I tally up the results. Just got to tell which one and why, and yes I'm still accepting ideas for the story.

The flute idea sounds nice, familiar in a way, as it makes me think of Ocarina of Time and, at the same time unique. I'm sort of looking forward to spoilers now.

Um, only one word is available to describe the thoughts running through my mind now, wow. This is insane, I love it. Though it might not have the best of top notch graphics since outside of characters it's recognized as the RTP it is still fantastic. I must have moar.

Ah that's what I'm using on my laptop now, I don't know of any decent movie editors off the top of my head I'll have to ask my sister as she does movie editing at a professional level so she may have some idea about some good ones.

What OS are you using I knew of one for Linux that was awesome but, I'll have to look for it again. Though if your using Windows Google may be the best place to look or try the Microsoft site to see if they have a download for the latest Windows Movie Maker. If your looking to created animated videos from scratch that's a different story, for animations like that I use Graphics Gale but, I have the full (payed) edition. Just as a side note does anyone know if Windows Movie Maker is still free download, since it was stopped being included in Windows with the release of Vista and 7, I haven't used it since I had XP.

What about sprite sheet size? Is that open to be any size or does it need to be the standard size like the RTP?

Last Fantasy is that a web comic? I'm interested now. I've not had much time today to work on anything much I've been doing some minor scripting for my main project here and there since I've been cleaning this morning. I'm not sure about the really annoying character that doesn't contribute, since all of the characters are going to be annoying in their on way and also all of them will be incompetent fools who some how just stumble through everything like bumbling idiots who just seem to get lucky. I'll have to of course have at least one serious character, it seems that one serious guy traveling with a group of idiots who just seem to piss him off is rather hilarious to me anyways. I'll try to get some sort of update going soon.

I love Blender but really I prefer 3DS Max or Maya, hm, might be a good idea to get back on topic now. Since this program is open source I'll definitely give it a try. I love open source software which is why my desktops are Linux.

Oh, I have some experience with Python from where I was using it in conjunction with Blender. I never really got very far and it wasn't a good experience but it was till an experience. I may have to check out this program later. Nice find, and are those screen shots from a dating sim? Yeah yeah, I have no life, dating sim's can be fun.

Well don't get discouraged, it just takes practice I'm sure you'll be a better spriter than me in no time. Good luck and I hope it turns out well.

I'll add that to the list, I hadn't thought of that. I'll have that elaborated a bit more in a few days actually working in characters. So more idea's to make this the most absurd game ever, please remember it will all be done with RMXPs RTP.

I agree with some censorship in the home, that's what parental controls are for. Though some people don't even realize you can set up a child block on your own computer to stop some web-pages from loading of course it wont get them all but, some of it is known to stop pages from loading if it even has a meta-tag promoting something they don't want kids viewing. This is used in a lot of the schools at least where I live that doesn't stop some people since you can bypass the blocks using a proxy, if parents are that concerned about hiding their kids from the world then they need to be there watching them when they are online or watching TV even. -
Aw that's nice, I like you too Ark. XD Okay, time to say something of relevance. Violent, if you would like I could work with you to put together a puzzle that has to do with the library. I've been working on a new idea for an extended book cipher where normal book ciphers have 3 numbers [page number - line number - word in that line] I've worked it much further to include [book index - page number - line number - word on that line - letter in that word] the book index of course being shelf horizontal and shelf vertical. This way you could encrypt hidden messages or passwords that unlock a door. I was doing this originally for my main project but I've put that on hold till I learn a bit more about scripting.

Well, to start off with I've already started working on the story a bit and I'm keeping it in the follow every cliche possible. WARNING, DO NOT READ! Ah who am I kidding go ahead not like I'll know anyway. Anyone who wants to add something to this feel free. Its a work in progress I should have more to update with tomorrow.

It can be done but it will need a very effective anti-lag script to run smoothly. I've seen the growing thing done before, it didn't look natural like it should have. Really it could be done with simple event with a change graphic done every few seconds (Side note: 30 frames = 1 second) it wont really look completely natural but it will at least look decent as far as the leaves moving in the trees that's doable with a sprite the same way that you can start a fire burning (check the box next to move animation and stop animation and it will cycle through the walking animation without moving). I should probably leave this to madanchi to elaborate on since it is his thread.

Hm, nanou if you're talking about the game I described earlier, I didn't make that it was a game I played on XBOX360. It was just an arcade game someone made with the XNA Game Developers Kit which costs to much (no wonder Microsoft is getting rich). I too love games with a unique style and challenging puzzles. So this game has me highly interested. I have some ideas for some interesting puzzles that you could implement as well as some cipher idea's to really mix things up.

I really like those, they look like you spent a lot of time on them. They look similar to the RTP graphics for RMXP especially the boy. I'm guessing you used the RTP as refernce when you made these cause the boy looks remarkably like the Civilian02 except with different hair color. The others I can't really see resemblance to the RTP in them except the girl in pink's hair style is similar to Civilian14. Though these look nice anyways, not my preferred style since they are so bright though but still well done. Actually just noticed for the girl with red hair, its the same dress as Civilian14 but with the hair of Thief04, and the one with the pink hair looks like the hair from Fighter06. These are nice edit's though.

Wow I hadn't thought of that, I will definitely take that into consideration. This may be a smash hit even with RTP graphics. I'm thinking I'll make it so that the story isn't consistent as well so you could do one thing then suddenly turn around and do something different. Wow, Broken your post has actually got me excited about working on this flop. I'm still taking suggestions on the story for this, and I'll have updates later with some information on what I intend to accomplish with this.

Something that's really to be taken into consideration here is that nine times out of ten, the pictures are faked on some graphic editing software. I've seen people in real time do a lifelike portrait of someone in MS Paint(looked like a photo), so to think that pictures of dead bodies could be faked is not hard to believe. Even if it takes us by surprise, and we may not agree with the subject matter, it's generally a ploy by a person with severe psychological trauma; it's not unheard of for cases like this to be seen as threats to society and watched by law enforcement, truthfully these cases are most of the time harmless kids or immature adults who just want attention probably caused from having a bad child hood growing up without the attention of caring parents but rather the abusive attention of drunks and sluts who usually would forget that they were even there. They are probably addicted to the attention because they at some point got a small amount of attention and suddenly became overwhelmed. Either way as far as the pictures go ignore them if you don't look at them they don't hurt you, really the way the world is these days we should be immune to blood, guts, and gore which over all movie media has led everyone to tie in with death.
