  1. "Really?" I asked, "Well, I'm from the Fire Nation. I do not know which city, exactly, because I was sent at the age of 5 to live with my uncle. He lives deep in the woods near here. I'll show you a trick he taught me." I used the ability Blue Fire on my feet. I then moved the flame up across my body until it reached my shoulders. Then I shot it into the sky and made it separate like fireworks. "It looks better at night." I said. I quickly pulled out a small piece of paper and looked at it. Tonight is a half-moon. "I'll be able to watch your performance tonight," I said, putting the piece of paper away.
  2. I smiled. "Im Jacob. Nice to meet you. So, you use water magic, I take it. I'd like to see your performance, havn't seen some good water magic in quite a while."
  3. When the man flipped the coin, I recognised the look in his eye. It's the same look I always get when I use that, although my brother can do it without the look. I thought it might be the fact that I am a werewolf. The moment I thought of my brother, a thought swirled through my head; helping society instead of being a criminal for the rest of my life. I decided to talk to the man. I walked up next to him and sat down next to him. "Hello," I said, "Nice day for a festival isn't it?"
  4. I would help, but have no idea about C++. If you need help in any other way, just say so.
  5. I looked back at Ryan to see that he was giving me the hand-signal to come over to where he was sitting. "I gotta go," I said to the man as I ran to ryan. "What?" I asked. "Well... Can you take over?" he asked. "Why!?" I replied. "I really gotta go!" he said. "Go then!" I said. Ryan slowly stood up and fast-walked away. I looked back over to the other side of the fountain to see another man, eating an apple. How strange. I quiety chanted a black-magic spell (replaces 'Transform' when its not a full moon) and focused on the new person. The spell was a spell to peer into people minds and see what they are thinking. My eye went black, but for a strange reason I couldn't see what he was thinking. It was either he had some very powerful magic, or I hadn't mastered the ability yet. My eye returned to normal. Even stranger...
  6. My heart missed a beat. It wasn't her that was following my trail, it was him. I had two people of intrest now... Then I saw ryan running to the fountain. I had tought him to follow my specific trail. I went behind a building, with him following, and uncamoflauged. "So, what did you find?" I asked. Ryan pulled out a short sword. Ryan's Sword "You like it?" he asked. I eyed the sword. The craftmanship was spectacular. "How much did it cost?" I asked. "15 gold coins," replied Ryan. I smiled, "You bargained with the dealer, didn't you?" I asked. "Yup. It was originally 30 coins! Did good, eh!" I nodded, then rounded him around the corner. "See that girl?" I asked, pointing to the mysterious girl by the fountain. "Yeah, the one from the forest!" he replied. "Ok, I want you to keep your eye on her, talk to her if you want." Ryan nodded and ran down to the fountain. I ran and caught up with the man from the fountain. "Hello," I said.
  7. No magic!? I saw it with my own eyes! Maybe she's lying. I was still camoflauged, watching every move she made. Since I was camoflauged, however, my magical output was increased. Thank the gods that guards didn't know a single spell. The girl kept looking around, either looking for somebody or trying to follow my magical output. I decided to stay put and see what happens.
  8. We jumped out of under the carravan, out of sight, and moved on. I pulled out some savings of 35 gold coins. Then I saw the girl with the black magic I had observed with another male. "Who is he?" asked Ryan. "I do not know, but I cannot let guards see me." I replied. "Ryan," I said, "Look for a new weapon to buy. I must observe the girl." Ryan nodded as I handed him 15 gold coins. I quickly ran behind a building and activated my camoflauge ability. I then returned to the fountain and sat down on the opposite side of the fountain.
  9. [Ok, I am going to make it that the forest I am inhabited in was the one that Aya saved those people in] Ryan and I watched in awe as a women took down 3 armed bandits. It was unbelievable. Especially the dark powers that she wielded. We followed the carravan on foot for a while before it started picking up speed. "Now what?" asked Ryan. I took a jump and grabbed onto the bottom of the carravan making no noise at all. I reached out my hand and I pulled Ryan under it as well. "Be quiet," I whispered, "Don't talk, just focus on holding on." I could hear the girl talking. By her voice I could tell she was around my age. She wore tattered noble clothes, giving me no idea to what lifestyle she lived. But it still doesn't matter, the only question on my mind was how did she learn that black magic. I stuck my head out of the side of the carravan to see that we were approching a city. "We're nearly at the festival," a mans voice said. What luck.
  10. 4 days until the judging day. Still, no map entries :( .
  11. [back at the shack] I handed Ryan a plate of the cooked deer. I had used one of my powers to cook it. "Hmm," said Ryan, stuffing his face with the deer, "This is really good!" I smiled, "Don't eat too much, we might not find another deer tomorrow morning." Ryan looked up at me in surprise. "And if there isn't any deer?" he asked. I pulled a poster out of my bag. It read 'Epardermas City Festival. Food, Games, Suveniors.' Ryans eyes widened "We're gonna steal from a festival!?" he said. "No," I said, pulling out a bag of gold, "We're just going to attend."
  12. This shall be interesting, now won't it? I had something like the same to me except for that it was to do with eventing. Also, Marked it right, it is important that you can teach a method. Also, if you are trying to teach people to an expert level, I believe that there should be a very in-detailed course that teaches you from the rank of "WTF IS SPRITING!!!1!one" to "Im the best and nothing can stand in my way except CJBoy :D ". I've also got an idea for you that I am also using. For people that do challenges, such as on the old eventing area, that they can go up a rank and that rank is notified by a PM with a userbar-type thing with their rank of spriting on it. They would also be accompanied by a small picture on the userbar. A lower-rank would have a small, semi-pathetic sprite while the experts have a really super-ultra-mega impressive one. Hope some of these idea's help. ~Tomo2000
  13. I looked over from my bed to Maya. She was almost lost in a trance looking at her wallet. I wondered why, but it was better not to ask; might bring back memories that were forgotten on purpose. I pulled out a box from my bag and pulled out a watch. It was already set with the correct time, and all I needed to do is set in an alarm for each day. I pressed a few buttons and there was a confirmation beep. I then pulled out a siringe and injected it into my arm. I looked back over at maya; still staring into her wallet. I sighed. 'Poor girl,' I thought.
  14. [Arriving at the creek] "Shhh," I said to Ryan, "See that deer?" Ryans eyes widened "Look at how big it is!" he whispered. "And I'm going to teach you how to hunt it!" Ryans eyes widened again to a point where I thought they were going to pop out of his head. "R-really?" he whispers. "Of course," I said, "Now. Take the sword and hold it as if it was a spear." I instructed him. He bent his arm behind his head, holding the sword by the handle. "Like this?" he asked. "Just like that. Now, wait until the deer bows his head to take a drink then through the sword at it." Ryan nodded. When the deer went to take a drink he through the sword, the sword pinning the deers leg to the ground. "I got it!" Ryan said, jumping up and down. "Not yet you don't." I said as we emerged from the bushes and walked towards the deer. "Now what?" asked Ryan. "You have to kill it." I said to ryan, handing him a small dagger. Ryan smiled, wielded the dagger and slit the deers throat. 'Just like a real hunter' I thought. "How did I do!?" said Ryan. "Good," I replied, carrying the deer over my shoulder, "Now we go back to my hut."
  15. [Ok, I'll start then] The morning sun was always beautiful. As a kid I would stay up all night just to see it as it breaks the horizon. It still reminded me of home. I had to get an early start is I wanted to eat today; the deers are always grazing by the creek at this time in the morning. I picked up my Death-Scythe and headed off. It was cold, as usual. The forest was always cold, the dew splashing againsty my feet as I trudged through the swampland to my hunting grounds. It seemed like another perfect day. I was very swift, allowing myself to hear everything as I walked; birds chirping in the trees, rabbits hopping to their holes and... The sounds of swords clashing? I ran to the creek to see guards attacking a child. The child was male, about the age of 14. I drew my scythe and prepared to fight them. The kid drew a sword and made a rather pathetic attempt at protecting himself. The guards were quick to disarm him. "Your going to jail for your crimes," one said, "Imagine; a kid stealing a sword in the mids of daylight? That is this world coming to?" This was my chance. I quietly chanted a spell and camoflauged into the environment. I quietly walked up behind one of the guards, drew my scythe and slit his neck. Blood gushed everywhere but it also landed on me, painting a red body-like shape. "What the hell is that?!" a guard screamed, drawing his sword. The two remaining guards walked towards me. I used my scythe to cut down a small tree and used it as a second weapon. A guard took a swing at me and caught his sword in the tree. I simply twisted the small tree to disarm him, then chucked the sword at him, nailing him in the forehead. "Mercy!" the remaining guard said as he dropped his sword, "Please... I... I'll forget about this incident entirely!" I smirked, "Very well." I said. As the guard ran, I used my finishing move, the Headshot, to throw the Death-Scythe into the air, do a backflip, then kick it blade-first into the fleeing guard. I retreived my scythe from the decapitated body and walked up to the kid. "Thank you," said the Kid. I smiled "How old are you?" I asked. "11," replied the boy, "Turning 12 in a few days." I took one of the guards iron swords and gave it to the kid. "Take this," I said, "It is a whole lot better than that thing you used." The kid laughed, "Thanks. My name is Ryan, by the way." "What kingdom are you from Ryan?" I asked. "The fire kingdom." he replied. "Come with me," I said, continuing to the creek, "I will teach you how to fight."

  20. Ok, guys. The results are in. We have also had a surprise entry by Leon. BlackBound's results With BlackBounds map, I liked it; there was not too bad. I don't quite understand why Aluxes is just standing there, or why there arn't more people. Overall; I think that he did a good job.Overall Rank: 3rd OverlordMao's Results OverlordMao's map was impressive to say the least. I like his use of people, animals and other character sets. There is nothing I can see that is bad with the map.Overall Rank: 2nd Leon's Results I never expected to see a scripter in this competition, or a scripter that can map like a pro! I love the screen tint, the fog, and how everything blends in together perfectly. I especially like how he has chosen character sets that have similar colors to the tileset, thus making them appear as if they belong.Overall Rank: 1st Also, guys, it's time for round 3. Round 3's map is Space. Enjoy.
  21. "Dude, what the hell!" I screamed back at CJ as he ran off. I walked into where CJ was. "Please go away," he said. I just stood in the doorway, waiting for CJ to react. "What the hell are you doing in here?" I asked. CJ said nothing. "Fricken answer me!" I yelled at him. A hand rested on my shoulder. "Leave the poor guy to do his thing," said Maya, "We gotta..." Maya was interupted by coughing and weezing. Me and Maya ran into the other room to see that Michael was starting to wake up. [Your turn Kiriashi :D ]
