Well, obviously it is not finished as there is no graphic walking downwards. But yes he is positioned correctly, so you wont have the problem of parts of other frames sticking out. The problem is im getting these from spritesheets, which dont contain any down sprites. I'm going to keep looking for other spritesheets to see if i can get a 'down' sonic. There is a Bump button for bumping topics. Its beside the options button at the top of the topic. You should upload your Event-based Battle System to the downloads manager and add a link in the description to this topic. I've noticed we're getting a lot of registrations that just use the downloads manager. The filesize is over 2mb, so PM me if want to this and we'll sort it out.

I've some posts on other forums, and so far they're saying that they just need to be modified, and not re-written. RGSS 2 is going to have all different structures, so who knows. There are already scripts in progress. Well actually I have only seen one, which seems strange considering the program isn't released yet. But it looks like most members in RMXP communities are taking to VX really quickly.

The RTP installs to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Enterbrain\RGSS\Standard On windows XP, but I dont know about Vista. Why dont you include the RTP with your game? If you have the installer install the RTP on the computer, your game is going to still have those folders with the resources you imported. Including the RTP just makes the file size larger in those files. Goto that location to the RTP and copy and paste it into your games folders. Once you compress the game data, when the person runs the installer created, the game is ready to go. Although you dont want to compress it RPG Maker XP do you? If you use an installer, and include the RTP in your project folders, you game is ready to go straight after install. First of all, I would just like to comment that we reached 5000 posts today, and recently got to 5000 members. That's a nice achievement. Although the database shows 8702 posts and 746, but all the old staff know what this database has been through, if you look through the old announcement topics you will see what I mean. But lets keep this activity up. I recently added a website, which is the base URL rmxp.trap17.com. This is actually a CMS but right now we are using it as a portal for the forums, but it could be used as a properly website in the future, depending on how things go. I would like to add a games section so visitors of the site can download games of the members here. This month the Arcade and Casino have been reinstalled, and every component in the Menus have been restored since we upgraded. There has also been a "Bump" modification added to the forum. You will see it beside the "Options" at the top of your topics. According to the modification, you can only Bump every 24 hours, but I have not been able to test it properly. So there is no longer any need for anyone to reply with BUMP in their topics. They will basically keep things neat and tidy and under control. This group may not flame under any circumstances, as flaming is stopped simply by post maturely(I say this because I have seen it on other forums). Knowledge of RPG Maker XP is not essential, but preferred. The primary task of this group is order not support. But you have to know what topics are appropriate for what forums. ?RPG Maker Support Team This group remains active primarily in the support forums. An in-depth knowledge of RPG Maker XP is required, as this group will be working to solve those topics. This group can moderate the support forums to move support topics into the resolved topics forum. ?Contest Manager This group organizes contests. They make topics in the contests forum and keep them under control. So basically some entertainment for the forum, and a break from RPG Maker. ?Local Moderators There is no application for this, to apply you must PM me. If you are exceptionally good at Scripting, Eventing, or creating resources, then you can apply to be local moderators for those forums. Lastly, I would like to make a note about the Downloads Manager. The statistics have just started shooting up for downloads. Although there have been very few submissions. There are many Categories there for all sorts of RMXP downloads, so don't forget its there when you want to upload something.

Here's an Interior, another really old one: I did? I guess now I have to warn myself... :P Everyone starts from the beginning. My maps were worse than yours, but as I used the tilesets more and saw other peoples maps in sample games, I learned more about mapping and how to use the tilesets. Its amazing what you can do with a couple of simple tiles. Looks really good so far, you should post the finished version when your done.

That may be so, but he has a class, which means he is helping the members of RMXP Unlimited. They are for helping the members, and not being associated to a forum. That is our main goal after all. What I did mean is, if you had a class you would not post official tutorial of: your site.

Try Servage. I dont have much experience with this, so i wouldnt be able to point you in the right direction. I think its a matter of looking and finding one that suits you. There are tons out there. This is getting a bit off-topic, if you like you can make a topic about hosting in the Computers and Internet forum. Since you're looking for hosting, I assume you will close down your forum? If so I'll close this topic.

Ok. What events have you go in that map? Have you got any events that have the process "Parallel process" or "Autorun" ?

I moved this topic to "RPG Maker XP Support" from the RGSS support forum, and deleted your other topic in the resolved topics forum. You are going to need to be more specific with your problem. Can you be more specific? What might be the problem is the passibility of the tiles in the Tileset you are using. Make sure that a tile which you want to impassible by the character is set to impassible in the database(has an X over it). Holding the Ctrl key while test playing will also allow your player to walk through any tiles, so make sure you aren't accidentally holding that down.

It is pretty much guaranteed that RMVX will have an import function, so I wouldnt be surprised if they released some sort of RMVX RMXP-RTP set, so people will be using the RMXP graphics. I think they could be a lot worse, I'm not one of the people who really hate them. That community is quite large though. Things are complicated here as we have just come back really. Last week it was only me on the forums... but you definitely see some new RMVX stuff around here. We will not become an RMVX forum, we will be a RMXP/RMVX forum. Some people are used to Vbulletin than IPB, and the only thing that will make this forum active is the members, and the activity and content they provide, not fancy mods, unfortunately. I'm quite experienced with IPB, but it wont bring activity. Hope you like the place though ;)
