Wyz, did this come on because of that introduction topic? I had that thought reading this topic, before I saw your post in it. The only reason I said noob, well, I was just quoting him. It's probably the first time I've ever written it in a post. Whenever I see a member refer to themselves as a noob I get the impression they are perhaps somehow immature or really young, its just the impression I get. It really doesn't do them any favors, in my view. But it's not like can really stop members from posting it. Then again you dont often see the active members who contribute in terms of quality posts using it... I don't see it as CrimsonInferno said, "the only word others can really relate to being "new" at something", it sounds like more of an insult when I read it in posts. But that's just me, and I dont go a whole lot of forums.

Much better :) Here's your script. Visual_equip.zip It's really old, been on my computer for over 2 years. I'll look for another updated version if there is one. Sounds slightly more tedious than using a script. The only way I can think to do this is with separate image files for each item equipable(as in this script).

I forgot to update the topic, and I did change back to the blue one. I understand that both themes will not load in IE7, so both have the same issue.

Im afraid there is no quick fix for that. It's basically thats how the image is, I'd imagine as the faceset is redistributed someone along the line saved it as a jpg or some other filetype which causes that. The solution is to edit them in an image editing program like photoshop, as you've started. The 3rd face from the left, both rows, looks as if it were made on facemaker.

Try searching in the script editor for those strings, see what comes up. Sounds like they strings are defined in the script, rather than retrieving them from the database.

I think you already figured this out. In RPG Maker VX, the image file of the charactersets are cut for 8 different characters, so the file gets split evenly 12 squares along and 8 squares down. As in the first image you posted, it only has one character which is 3x4 frames and is getting split 12x8. Since you added it in the 2nd image it works correctly. A solution is using a script. Here it is: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/index.php/rmv...ts-in-rmvx.html Save your image file with the prefix "$", example: "$mycharset". That cuts the image 3x4, so it should work in the game.

Sorry I don't know where any DBZ or code geass charactersets are. But are you making an merged anime styled game? Or two games simultaneously? The reason I ask is, if it appears you are not making a game you're a little interested in, there wouldn't be much incentive for anyone to take the time to sprite for you. If someone were to though, what style of characterset?(RTP or other). .GIF? You can't use gifs in RMXP. At least I think so, I would check if I was at computer with it installed. I'd go with .PNG with a transparent background, so you don't have to choose the transparent colour when you import it.

Yeah, I can ask questions in our tutorials which are once a week. And I do have friends in most my classes. I'm doing a degree in law(thinking about changing to a double degree and include finance). So im doing an introductory full-year law course, macro economics, academic essay writing and psychology. I just got results from a law test from last semester. I got a C, which is obviously below the minimum grade average for the course. REALLY disappointed with that one... Tutorials start tomorrow, so I'll be sure to ask if I dont understand something. Yep good advice. I've come up with new study techniques and revising etc. If I fail anything else, I have decided, I will leave the site. I wish I could judge the probability on that happening, I want to say it wont happen for sure because I'm going to try really hard this semester.. but we'll see. I'm the type of a person who aims for A, rather than just passing, so i guess im really lacking the fundamentals. I will make a topic if I decide to leave. I will most likely appoint an active staff member, probably one of the moderators.
