I didn't say that I was closing the site. But at this rate... and by May 7th, y'know. There's no question he's alive. He made big contributions and the above post in saying he is a liar is mostly things between him and I. He's certainly not the only one to take advantage of the anonymity of the internet. But at the end of the day he made the decision to do something stupid, and a lot of members were sad to hear that news as a result of another lie from him. Anyway, I'm done talking about him, he's gone and its time for him to be forgotten.

Everyone's gone. All of our staff are gone. Liars like Kiriashi and assholes like Jon Bon didn't help. No one posts anything, and when they do, no one else even bothers to reply to the topic. Only 2 members went out of their way to submit tutorials to the relatively new tutorials section. I was too ambitious with GDU and having to deconstruct RMXPU for the new GDU system was a mistake that I can't take back. May 7th is our 7 year anniversary. I think that will be a good date to pull the plug. We used to help people make games, I think we helped a lot of people over those years. I wouldn't do it again if I had my time again, but I'm still happy I did.

I was really impressed with the start of the game. Some basic things that would make a big difference to general game play would be different music, especially when entering buildings. And secondly, the doors are a bit odd. You can enter a door without ever facing it, and some transfers happen instantaneously. What you can do is when a player touches the transfer even, use set route to make him/her face up, or move up (so it looks like he's entering the building). And then just add fading to all transfers.

Ohh I didn't know you could use those dropbox links for direct downloads. What filetype is rb? It's apparently unknown to my computer. I think the universal one is a .zip.

Yeah, in the solomon islands. An 8.0 quake. We haven't had one that size for over a 100 years, that's why we're due for a big one but we don't get tsunami's very often coz the boundary of 2 tectonic plates run up the middle of the country. Japan's 2011 tsunami happened from a quake on a plate boundary which is out to sea from Japan, which is why such a destructive tsunami was generated. That can't happen here, but we can get smaller ones from massive south american...

If it's a script for other people's game, its obviously going to be 3. I'd chose option 1 for my own game. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that on the forum. Doesn't sound too good coming from a staff member.

Yeah I didn't change it. The homepage had always been a placeholder for a proper homepage but when GDU went live there was nothing but forum topics.
